Grace's Journey with AML

Grace was diagnosed at just 9 years old with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She faced many complications throughout her treatment including severe fevers reaching 106° and a fungal infection of the brain. At one point, doctors informed her mother that she had a 20% of surviving.
Now at 17, Grace is once again active and running on the cross country team; they even went to State where Grace took 1st place! Grace is also looking into different colleges for next year and considering a career in the medical field. Grace is able to look toward the future.
