I honestly think the Anti-Venom suit looks pretty damn cool, but yeah, Miles's new suit looks awful. I feel like I'd hate it a little less if they at least gave a cutscene explaining it instead of it coming out of nowhere, Miles's girlfriend, Hailey is an artist, they could have just said she designed it, and his best friend, Ganke made the suit off that design as a gift for Miles or something.

I took Harry and Norman's deal in this game to be less "You never loved me" and more "I was never good enough because I was sick, you always wished I was healthier and stronger" which a lot of people with chronic illness say they've felt weather earned or not. I thought it worked really well, especially considering Harry didn't say a thing against his dad until he was Venom.

Everything is in the torso and arms meanwhile the legs and mas have nothing going for them. The line on the pants don't connect to the lines on the torso at all and come out of nowhere. And meanwhile the shoes also come out of nowhere because the line in the pants doesn't connect to the shoes properly. And then the stupid hood has no reason to be there because its down anyway and has no physics. You can even choose to put the hood up. So it's pointless. It's just garbage.

To be fair to Ultimate, the suit was killing Brock and they would just overwhelm you with firepower in his missions. It didn't feel very good to play when you constantly needed to run and desperately search for civilians to eat for health but it sold the idea that even in the state he was, Venom was a monster compared to Spidey. Considering the symbiote stabilizes before the final battle, even bigger shame we didn't get a sequel or a spinoff to control Venom at his peak. He was fun to play, just the scenarios we played him in were designed around him being at a massive disadvantage rather than the power fantasy you'd expect. A sequel shouldn't have had that issue

This game has done something Ultimate failed to do:
Make Venom actually powerful and fun to play.
To be fair to Ultimate, the suit was killing Brock and they would just overwhelm you with firepower in his missions. It didn't feel very good to play when you constantly needed to run and desperately search for civilians to eat for health but it sold the idea that even in the state he was, Venom was a monster compared to Spidey.
Considering the symbiote stabilizes before the final battle, even bigger shame we didn't get a sequel or a spinoff to control Venom at his peak. He was fun to play, just the scenarios we played him in were designed around him being at a massive disadvantage rather than the power fantasy you'd expect. A sequel shouldn't have had that issue

It’s a lazy done adaptation of Anti-Venom. Brock in the comics got the suit back and became a full time anti-hero again and had even more powers at his disposal, even fighting Mac Gargan Venom.
