- "Let's talk clean technique! 💪
How to transition from one arm to the next in the kettlebell clean, follow these steps. First, master the standard clean: hike the bell high In the groin, pull the elbow back, and float the bell up to shoulder height, circling it around the hand at the height of your belly button. The shoulder is your final stop.
Now, transitioning to the other side is simple. Instead of pulling to the same shoulder, throw it to the opposite shoulder, going palm to palm. Avoid the center of the chest! 🚫 If you're used to that, change it up for a stronger vertical forearm.
Here's the process:
1. Palm to palm, hand in front of the shoulder.
2. Grab the bell with the free arm, hike, and clean.
3. Unclean it and watch it smoothly transfer to the other hand.
No need to move the other hand! 🙌 It takes practice, but it looks pretty cool, right? 😉💥

Does it help improve the performance of the presses and lift more weight for 1RM as you are saving energy to clean it with other hand and pressing it with the desired hand?
Not necessarily. But it is more efficient than sitting the bell down or even swing transfer
Just out of curiosity what would any advantage be to this over the standard clean?
Looks like something made difficult just for the sake of adding complexity with no benefit.
It’s has no benefit for the actual “clean” itself.
It’s very effective when switch hands. Example alternating thrusters.
Once you learn it you’ll see. And you’ll unconsciously do it all the time
Just add an American flag to your wall and anything you do becomes 'tactical' folks
Damn skippy 🇺🇸
