I mean let's be consistent with the adjectives. Funny thing is that in Greece we often say the exact opposite: "muslims of Thrace and greeks of Constantinople". Practically they are are greek and turkish nationals respectively while I guess they will identify as greek or turkish ethnically, depending on their family history. You must know better than me. I am just a Christian greek myself.
You being Greek doesn't tell anything about those people are Turkish. They speak Turkish and feel Turkish. Accepting the fact that they are Turkish wouldn't make you any less greek.

The Muslim minority of Thrace (Pomaks, Turks, Roma) continues to reside in Greece. The Greek minorities of Turkey, protected under the same treaty (Lausanne), have been violently eradicated by Turkey.
