Wer A sagt, muss auch B sagen... in the UK we say: In for a penny, in for a pound.
Not sure if there is a saying in the US.
I have become really hooked on your chess videos lately. I like your good spirits, your explanations, and the way you go through the games after. I'd love to see more of your tournament games too.
PS: After Carlsen's win Norway has become chess crazy. I hope this'll be the start of a new series of good norwegian players.
PS: What is your, if any, preferred chess variant?
Yubbi! My soul has been restored.
In Dutch it's the same expression like German (and Swedish according Jan Persson)
The disconnection sound sounds like my microwave when it has done its heating job. Very satisfying right.
Too bad for the disconnect. I really wanted to see you play this out as I get similar positions and I'm never sure how to continue.
only one line against the KID, Saemisch !!
I don't think there is an English expression regarding a and b
We have the exact same saying in Swedish. I believe "In for a penny, in for a pound" is the English version.
you smacked your lips a lot in this video and I don't think you usually do that - it is annoying to a viewer to hear someone smacking his lips - the sound is disconcerting and unpredictable. Good game tho, thanks for the video
