@@squareonechess6939 Thats an understatement given Hans's narcissism. But then again, we know his character and personality, I bet he isn't taking any responsibility for his humiliating loss against Magnus and Hikaru but instead is giving someone else the blame for his "misfortune"...

Hans saying to himself "Man, people were complaining about my games when I used the engine to cheat and now are complaining about my games when I don't use the engine. I guess I'm damned if I do, damned if I don't."
Very good commentary. Puts you in a super league of commentators together with DH. Such a good flow and easy to understand and learn from the game. Thank you. Liked and subscribed. Look forward for the next one.
This just proves that Hans is unable to come up with moves without the help of chess engines. He can’t think up winning combinations on his own, unlike Magnus who developed into a champion prior to the age of brilliant chess engines. He did it all on his own, and it’s paying off.

Your analysis of the position after black’s resignation omits a much prettier finish. White should move Rc7. Then after black’s forced Kg8, it would go Bxd5! exd5, e6! That’s an appropriate end to this game!
You overlooked recapturing on d5 with the knight instead of the pawn, when you've simply given away a bishop for nothing. After ...Kg8, the more sensible Bxg7 Qxg7, Rxd2 leaves White up a rook in a completely dominating position.
I never get these, because in this case, where you say Hans should play ...dxd5, and he actually played ...cxd5 (as you say, a serious blunder), even my Stockfish is saying Hans's move is best. Head scratcher.
It's an easy game isn't it, all those options and killer building moves, BUT it's a different game when you have sooo little time, NO time for in-depth game analysis checking all possible avenues of attack and defence, give poor Hans a little more credit, you know he actually held out fairly decently against Such Top tiered Giants he was up against ❤
Hans improved though since 2 years ago, hopefully he can keep going and improve, its good if he follow the honest way of playing even if it takes more time it just feels better to be honest and is a good strategy in the long run
