Imagine being constantly measured by "Magnus" yardstick. Every game he plays, people will compare him to literally the strongest player in history. That's rough.
You don't beat yourself. Making mistakes is part of your skill level. Hikaru blundered in game one. Takes nothing away from Faustino. If you don't find the punishing move, then you're the bad player.
Before Magnus I've never heard it ;) What would be LOL funny is if Fastino's father is found to be in the next room while the ten year old plays online, shouting out in Spanish the second or third best move as found by Stockfish. Funny but tragic too, I hope not.
@@raylopez99he is playing bullet chess and you can see his streams, he records de screen, the room and his face. At that speed is imposible to take moves from someone else, you have to basically premove them. And Faustino also explains the moves while streaming. Doesn't seem to be cheating

I think it is the trend to over-excite chess commentary, Hikaro is also a little over-excited with his customary RUclipsr "And todayyy" - he does sound like he is "trying" lol ... . At least the speed in this video is not insanely fast, like many - not sure about the sunglasses look though, but that's just me 😖😀 I think I will stick with RUclipsr's like Eric Rosen, and Agadmator - they are just calm, humble and give a relaxed feeling when watching their videos 🙂
3:24 I am proud of my own, before you said it, I had exactly the same plan, playing the knight to e4, to bring the queen to the other side of the board to start an attack. Its nice to hear the things you thought seconds later from an expert but in this case it was the engines best moves ;)
True, but he was losing -- that is, losing but not yet lost, you know, like someone who is winning but hasn't yet won, or a towel that is drying but not yet dry.
@@patogordo1385 Awesome for his age, but you should've looked at his game history for this year. Other than Hikaru, he's been bounced a bunch by his opponents like Jakub Seeman, who destroyed Faustino in only 19 moves while posting a just shy of 95% perfect game. Jakub is only 16 years old at the time of their game from this year.
the second game was positionally won by Hikaru .. thats comforting for sure As u told the bishop attack on both rooks had won easily.. But strange mouse failure.. Seems like Hikaru gets over emotional when playing against that kid...
Game #! This is not an impressive win. White makes a couple minor errors that just mean he is not a bot and then, for no reason at all, makes a bad sacrifice and then a brutal blunder with Qe2. He basically took a poor position that was a long, long way from lost and in 3 moves committed hari kari. The kid was almost an innocent bystander. Even worse with game 2. Don't high level players allow take backs on obvious mouse slips?
LOL! I just watched this because I have seen some of his games before. And he's wearing a Cobra Kai shirt. I just watched the entire season over the past week. And I am currently watching Karate Kid again. Like I have it paused as I watch this.
Yeah, but they still do speak to Faustino's strength to some degree, -- I could play 100 bullet games with Hikaru, and I don't think I would win any of them
@@squareonechess6939 Of course, Faustino would wipe the floor with every single one of us RUclips keyboard warriors but that's not the point. Let them play 100 consecutive games and we'll have a good estimate of what's actually going on in terms of bullet or blitz playing strength. I assume Hikaru at this point in time would have the lead. You're a christian? So you thought making a derogatory comment about chess, on a channel entirely dedicated to the playing of chess, would be a good thing to do, the act of a decent and likeable human being? Can't see that you have understood even the fundamentals of christianity. Not a charitable thing to do, not positive.

In fairness Hikaru beat himself in both games
Hikaras talked good things about Faustino after this game
if nobody makes a mistake, nobody wins

Everyone has a peak and this kid is 10, hes in grade 4 or5.. hikaru is 40

I laughed at the end of the first game. What a disaster 😂
Wow! Very instructive chess games!👍🏻👍🏻
Cool, this week's next Magnus!! Can't wait to see which 4 yo it will be next week
World’s first in-utero Grandmaster coming up next.
Lionel Chessi

This hikaro guy plays eerily similar to hikaru.

Thanks capt obvious. Along with over commentary of non-human moves. Always a bonus, especially in bullet.
bullet is not serious enough to make that kind of predictions ..when there will be somebody to attack the position of carlsen i`m thinking at gukesh
Thank you for the very nice analysis of the games!!
Thanks!
'Hikaroh'? Hahaha
And there are a lot of Next-Bobby-F, Next-Boris, Next-Magnus players. I've heard that the iPhone22 is going to be fantastic.
Thanks for all the great game dissections

Excellent! Now you have a new suscriber. Greetings from Argentina :)
Thank you so much! I would love to visit there someday!
You weren't the only one that thought Maggie would be this good. Many did. His filmed autobiography was started when he was 7
True, I'm not an oracle or anything -- a lot of people predicting great things for Oro right now also
No doubt this kid is talented! Excited to see how he progresses!
Me too!
Its very simple to explain. Hikaru is a narcissist and thinks he can outsmart everybody.

Let's see his classical games. Blitz and bullet are totally different.
He has a brilliant classical game where he defeats a 2600 GM -- might cover that next!
At 18:03 please give us more than 2 seconds to pause the video to work out the best move for white!

Second win is worth nothing
Lets not forget Magnus started playing chess at the age og 8 which is very late
What's with the dark glasses?
That was obviously a mouse slip. Still, this kid is the future World Champion.

Of course he’s good but several mistakes made by both players.
its just a bullet game nvm

Tremendous success at his age but will he rise to super grandmaster?
He's almost 2500 at age 10. Could get to 2600 at age 12. 2650 at age 14. 2700 at 16. 2750 at 17. 2800 at 18 like Gukesh.
