My suggestions: (1) Put it up on the screen which player is which color. (2) When showing moves NOT TAKEN put a yellow light on, or other signal, to let the viewer know that such moves are not the moves actually played.
Thanks for the advice, just got the silent mouse, also including engine evaluation bar now, not sure if adding the time control is feasible right now, but will def keep it in mind
I understand the sunglasses permit you to read from the prompter without the pingpong eyes. But, the fact of the matter is wearing them introduces other issues.
The Stockfish quote was hilarious. Besides... Stockfish is quite a bozo, because it not only can't speak, but also doesn't even know it exists. It's a nothing.
@@squareonechess6939 your reply was sharp as a razor blade. i love good speech. Bobby Fisher is the greatest and Spassky would be number 2. These guys played with out computer help. They studied hard and long. Practice was on hard boards of various types. It makes me sick that anyone says that these modern chess players like Carlson are better than fisher. No way! No How. Take the computer away from modern chess masters and make them study their opponents to old fashion way and then see where they come out.
ya'll clickbaiters are tiring out adjectives and adverbs. soon we'll devolve to nu-speak magnus carlsen just went double/triple supernova. supernova level 9000 every time this guy wins a game. give me a break
Seriously, spending 90% of talk on the "hints" how they would play instead of real game, makes video too long. Other chess bloggers are more interesting
Some people enjoy seeing alternative variations -- since in many positions its IMPOSSIBLE to understand the purpose of the move played without being aware of these alternate lines -- many viewers enjoy seeing why moves were played - others prioritize brevity -- so I am always striving to strike a balance
Boring..who cares...even the Chess App on my phone can defeat Carlsen or any other human player...so I repeat...who cares...what are you striving for...??? Nothing...
You think people should stop competing against other people because they can’t compete against machines? And you took the time to share that idiocy with the world? Dude.

Outstanding commentary and walk-thru...love your channel now that I've stumbled across you! Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
the best part of this is having the gameboard as well as having the edpo board. well done.
Thank you!
Awesome analysis!! I really like exploring all the lines rather than just clicking through the games... Keep it up!
Thanks! I'm glad you are enjoying it!
Great commentary/analysis! It would also be nice to show the real-time engine calculations alongside the board.
The highlight of my chess career would be losing a game to Magnus Carlsen.
Its the baldness
Just found your channel. Your way of commenting and explaining the games are nice and concise. Subbed
Awesome! Thanks!
@@squareonechess6939 I think your channel will blow up if you keep at it
Yup, he has overtaken Kasparov a few years ago.
I just wish he played more classical games -- I think at the time controls nowadays, he may be a bit better
Everyone please vote for your favorite historic chess player and/or game that you'd like me to cover in a future video!
Paul Morphy
Favorite player Zoltan Ribli, match to cover would be any of the Reti played by Nakamura with White against Niemann recently.
Robert Huebner
I've always been a huge fan of Tal and Paul Keres. A nice game from either would rock!
That was a very good analysis! Thanks, this is the type of commentary the chess world needs - analyzing the crazy engine moves that magically work! :)
Thanks! Always glad to hear from the people who appreciate it!
Thank you so much for your wonderful videos. They teach a person what the thinking is in winning chess.
Thanks!
magnus carlsen ... cutting through grandmasters like a GOAT through a field of grass
Very nice analysis!
Thanks!
jeez. i can't follow this even in slomo! the man is an alien.
Excellent commentary re: Nc4-d2 as opposed to b3 followed by Nc4-b2. I would not have noticed that subtlety even if it were my game.
Thanks! Yeah me neither -- takes some digging to figure this stuff out -- with the engine's help of course -- very instructive!
Never expected Carlsen to go Dildo-mode himself.
i am shocked
i won't be able to sleep for 3 days
I hope that means my video was a success
@@squareonechess6939 still shocked.
Very nice content, reminds me I lost 3 games in a row from Vlastimil Hort, once a super GM
Wow, very cool. I'd love to get crushed by a GM, Did you record the games?
@@squareonechess6939 not really it was a simultan seance in 1997, remember one game sir Hort checkmated me within 7 moves with his knight
So h6 wasn’t a thought?
Tactics my friend tactics
Nice overarching concepts in your vids. Please up your game by showing both time control and stockfish's assessment.
And get rid of the mouse clicks
Thanks for the advice, just got the silent mouse, also including engine evaluation bar now, not sure if adding the time control is feasible right now, but will def keep it in mind
You can beat me at chess, but that does not mean you are smart, nor that you are a genius.
Magnus is a genius though
Thanks
LOL
Why black could not have moved that pawn in front of King one step field forward.
Those sunglasses are out of control.
Ditch the sunglasses, man!
Fentanyl Fred is the best player in San Diego Ca.
I understand the sunglasses permit you to read from the prompter without the pingpong eyes. But, the fact of the matter is wearing them introduces other issues.
Reading off a prompter and unable to memorize the lines well enough to prevent ping-pong eyes?
Reading a script generated by AI?
Nice analysis
Thanks!

Bb2 is a natural move. Bg5 ? don't make any sense.
