First title: How To Win EVERY CHESS GAME
New title: 24 Hours. Then Goodbye.
Goodbye levies
And it’s still here after 24 hours
In-between title: I'm done.
It's like his editor is quitting and giving his resignation through title changes 😅
Actually huge props to the 2300 at the end, great job.
The 2300 is my friend, he’s right next to me😁
That 1300 played really well I'm actually impressed
as a 1300 I'm impressed by the middlegame, not by the endgame
He should’ve let him get the perpetual check draw
@@conor4444do that to your own game
@@hakushokuhikari he’s playing against a near grandmaster and a 1300 probably wouldn’t see it, he said he was trying to play like a 1300. What did I say wrong exactly?

The how to win at chess series was what first got me into Levy, so happy to see long-format videos are back.
what did it get you into?🤨
I still can't believe long format is back
yay
Almost all of his videos are considered long format because they're 30+ minutes

@@Ihoopsometimes701he means rapid time control
Levy should watch this so he can finally be a GM

18:30 Hi mom, I'm on youtube:)
Nice! You made it in Gotham's video!
the good thing is ur not in how to lose at chess episode xD
Хорош
how did you play him, i wanna too
You played like a 500 though
Levy please do not stop this series i learned so much from this series
yeah no the "24 hours then goodbye" is just for the discount on his chessly courses
1:18:50 is such a relatable moment. What a nice move by white!
lmao that part got me "what.......... : | ..woah......... "
I dont understand why some players are so stressed, even on CLASSICAL games online I get "please MOVE" even after thinking a MINUTE.
You play 90 minute games against randoms?
@@lux_rebeisanything over 25 mins is considered classical - Lichess has the format
those types of players make me want to think even longer
not that i would ever purposefully stall out the clock, but like you picked the time control so that’s your problem not mine

Haha you're not alone 😂
clearly you didn't pay enough attention
The series is NOT called, How to win EVERY game," not even a GM would guarantee THAT. And besides, you learn more when you LOOSE then when you WIN. Course then you know you have to evolve.
@@psymarthat’s not how it works lol

I really enjoyed this episode. The first 1300 was very good. The final game was thrilling with Levy cracking under pressure.
Bro never fails to change his titles 10 minutes after uploading the video
Levy never fails to stare at us for 1 second and make it seem like 1 hour
Please continue with this series weekly, gotham along with Guess the Elo ep. Loving this 🤗
My fav series, so glad it’s back. Rewatched the old ones too many times 😂❤

TBH I love this series....literally rewatch this series all the time and e4 or d4 openings and its so good.
Entertainment and educational co tent all in one...please continue this series Levi😂❤❤
Best series! I actually wish you would do a rating climb again with your courses like you did forever ago with kings Indian rating climbs and the like. Do rating climbs with your courses. Vienna, Dutch, Caro rating climbs. Would be awesome!
Levy, thank you so much for getting this series up to speed, proud owner of your book, love the signature! Keep it up you are an amazing teacher!
Weakens the e-pawn a lot, weakens the rest of the structure too
This series is very insightful I watched this video and immediately started a rapid match to improve my elo. I was very excited to show my new powers then ended up losing twice in a row.
Thanks for bringing these back, Levy. I know it's a long shot you'll see this but your win at chess series has always been my favorite, just hits for me in every way since you're playing games but the whole setup is based around showing thought process
I have a lot of the courses and they really helped me improve. Openings are my favorite part of chess learning. I like this series because you show how to play the opening well into the middle game and end game while explaining the long term goals of the opening.
I couldn't believe it when he hung his rook, that was so painful to witness. Very well played by the opponent.
This is my favorite series! Such a nice pace, please keep it weekly!
Love the explanation of the dark square bishop trade in the position in the second game. Great way to explain the why behind the sequence.
Im really glad this series has been revived
I'd love to see a King's Gambit in this series. I think it'd be a great example of making a comeback, and I play it occasionally
7:27
It's anecdotical but I think you are right levy, I am 1400 and whenever my opponent pushes the a and b pawn they usually kick my knight after I respond with a4
I love the fact this series is back
Hey Leevi Rowsman, I would like to ask whether you could do a video where 5 important concepts are shown in order to arrive to 1200 chess elo - like the 1000 elo one, which was really helpful. I thank you

I've been truly enjoying your content. I started getting serious about chess in January 2024 and I watch your videos everyday. I am a owner of your book as well as your E4 course. I also just used your "spring" discount to buy your beginner course. I may never be a great chess player, but I am convinced I can be a good chess player. Keep doing you. If you choose to pursue the GM title hopefully we can support you on that journey.
Really enjoying the return to this series! I think it'd be cool if you added an eye tracker so we can see where on the screen your eyes go as you calculate and decide on your moves
i stopped watching your channel for over a year. this series has brought me back!!! thank you for bringing this back please don’t stop buddy!
56:22 What if black plays long castle,to defend the pawn with the rook?

My favorite series of yours. Truly instructive
I really love Levy's teaching skills. He is a better chess teacher than player, and this type of content is (imo) some of his greatest contributions to chess.
This is my favorite series of yours please keep doing them they’re so good
That 1300 was way better that the 1500
Could have just been a good game by 1300 and a bad game by 1500
That 1500 and the next guy as well were little nervous playing Levy I think, it’s just that

My favorite series. I have watched all of them multiple times and it has helped me identify tactics in my own games
Can you make a video on " Thinking process of a strong player " I have already watched ur old video on this topic but i believe u have learnt more from then and would be a good idea if u can represent your new thoughts on this
Definitely enjoying the series again, was what got me into your content and I find it the most instructive. Can you play a QGD against d4 soon?
Bout time i get a NEW lengthy video. ! You rock levy
I really like your content, keep going! I ordered your book today so I'm waiting to get some help learning chess.
there we go gotham! absolutely loved this episode bro very instructional and funny! your bot vids where getting abit boring, but for any beginner to intermediate chess player, that seriously wants to improve, this is GOLD! and its 1hour and 30mins, and i was captivated all the way through! Thankyou Gotham!
I really NEED your GTE series to come baaaack 😭
this series are so good tho ❤
"Be like water. You put water into a glass, it sacrifices its rook."

Levy, I think what this series lacks is Twitch chat. Your first 7 or 8 episodes of htwac (and other series like 1.e4/1.d4) had that comic relief from the chat, while providing instructional information, combining teaching with joy. That’s what keeps people on the screens, increasing watch time. The energy in those vids is top-notch - no mumbling around when waiting for your opponents to move, there is always a topic to discuss, and chat never fails to generate something random, which .is. entertaining. I hope this catches your eye, as I don’t want this series to be gone again due to communities inactivity
Very good point!
Would you recommend the Icelandic Gambit? That's how I've been playing the Scandi for a while
In the words of kramnik that 1300 was very interesting
That second game was super instructive. I really enjoy when you do videos like this.
I thought the title meant you were leaving RUclips. Had a scare there. 😰😰
I finally found time to watch the whole episode 27. Happy to have another one to look forward to.
I'm so glad that you're doing this series again ❤ I enjoy them so much
hell yeh this is the best series out there! loving the weekly episodes
Good game for the last two. Very nice and interesting. Levi, don't beat yourself up, especially before you have finished the game. The last game demonstrated to me how important a positive mindset is.
I like this series very much! Very instructive.
LOVE this series
That last game was the most intense game i have seen in a long while
41:18 if you push that pawn and queen takes, you win with a bishop sacrifice, he lost his queen and the rook joins the attack
Man levi you are the best
Been watching this series for 7 years and that’s the first lost iv seen, still
The goat
So glad this is a weekly series now. It's my favorite.
41:43 there was another idea: push e pawn and if queen takes, you could have brilliant bishop discovery check on a2
I love this series Gotham! Keep it up. Long content rocks.
I like this series, keep up the good work and thanks for favour our former GM Dan Anderssons opening
Bro last opponent was on fire
Very very entertaining to see levy struggle 😂
I love that this series is back, best thing you ever did
Best series , your true fans appreciate these videos
I want to say, thank you for making me, a beginner, not feel like a complete idiot while playing and learning chess. I watched about 4 hours of your content before trying chess for the first time since I was a child last week. And I came into that game too confident. I thought since I have been studying I was in a better odds. I lost my first match and immediately got humbled.
I've gotten a little bit better since last week and won several matches. But again, I want to say thank you for not making me feel like an idiot while learning.
at 41:50 u had e3 which he cant take beacuse ur theatning a discovered check to win the queen. and if he defends that you can support your e3 pawn with f4
5:15 if it was white to move knight d5 is a tactic or not ? (900 elo asking)
I mean… well, if black went something like a6, Nd5 by white would be the best move. If after Nd5 black took the queen, there is a tactic Nxe7+. King moves, white recaptures the queen and the knight on e7 can either take the free pawn and escape or trade itself for the bishop (basically it isnt getting trapped). If after Nd5 black goes Qd8, defeding the bishop, white would do Nxe7+ anyway because after black goes Qxe7, white puts a lot of pressure on black with something like Nd4 (pawn is hanging, knight pinned to the Queen, bishop on f5 hanging thanks to another tactic…). There is just a lot of pressure on black and white has a better position, so yes, if it was white’s move, it would be a tactic :)
Petition to bring guess the elo back
Weekly!! I have been asking for this and you delivered, nice work brotha.
I know I'm not the only one who saw a world where levy comes back and wins that last game. Levy u are a excellent teacher and keep doing ya thing out here in these chess streets!!!
I’d love to see a new breakdown of a certain opening like the Sicilian or the English!
Thanks for these. I enjoy them greatly.
Really enjoy these videos, please keep making them
Awsome video. It great at being instructive when u mess up and what not to do to turn a good piece into garbage in that 2000 lvl game. That rook that was trapped was worth like 2 maybe 3 points. Black may have even been able to draw that game. Good you levy
All of the openings are slowly becoming gotham openings
le Levy (when he cant think of a move or strategy): I THINK THIS IS WHAT PEOPLE AT THIS LEVEL WOULD PLAY :)
Win EVERY GAME?! That would be so boring...
"How To Occasionally Lose A Chess Game So Your Opponent Doesn't Catch On"
love that it's a weekly series
The number of times levy says the word “instructive” in this video is very instructive
At 41:10 I was hoping you'd spare a glance to pawn e3, just to be annoying, with the potential for bishop check + discovered queen attack. If your opponent fell for the mate later, maybe they'd have fallen for this too?
This is my absolute favorite chess series on RUclips. I learn so much and just enjoy watching you play actual games. Long live Win at Chess.
