Seriously, 6.7's are great because of the higher displacement over the 5.9's, but if I had to do it over again, I'd probably get a 3rd gen 5.9..IIRC the tuner is not even available any longer, and if you find it online it's gonna cost double what it retailed for,1500 and above (other more afforadable tuners online like EFI Live though)..... ... For a full exhaust and the egr/cooler delete kit were around 300-500 bucks.
So, how long have you been driving with the entire tailpipe and muffler off? Notice any problems? When I put in my delete pipe I considered just leaving the tail half off. I was worried about soot under the truck, and extra heat hitting my rear diff/axel/tires while towing. Truck sounds fine btw, normal deleted 6.7 sound.
Sorry for late response...I actually got rid if the truck a couple months ago, but I did drive the truck straight piped without muffler for at least a couple years.. Did not notice any black soot anywhere in the undercarriage. The Minimaxx tune I had must of been a really clean/efficient tune because only at WOT it would roll coal. And it was hardly anything to tell you the truth..

Get a mini maxx thru dyno diesel. They're about $600. Install tuner and then remove egr cooler & valve, dpf and cat. I left the muffler on so it looks stock.

Same exact issue. You can delete, but need a tuner and delete parts.. I also have taken off the dpf filter and taken a pressure washer and washed out all the black soot that was in filter and that has worked in the past to clean out the filter. As long as the inside element part of the filter is intact.
Jeez, I wish I can diagnose a engine from Just hearing a poor audio you tube video..... All these comments of engine has knocking noise or tick or whatever, just quit it.... I take care and maintain all of my junk and there is nothing wrong with this engine.. just poor sound quality... if there was a knock or whatever, nothing has happens in the last 50k miles since this video...hmm, must be another poor RUclips mechanic diagnosis.....

When you removed the egr valve and cooler as well as the dpf/nox system, di you have to install the high sulfur calibration? Just got a Mini Maxx myself, and wasn't sure. didnt know if thats something different.
Got mine from amazon with the pyro kit for $1000 H&S do not sell their own product and it is hard to get ahold of them but I was able to acquire a tech line phone number for H&S. I like the mini maxx. very easy to install.
Yea removing the TV is not needed, if it’s unplugged it won’t close. It’s spring loaded open. If you have ever tried to close it by hand you would see there is no way it’s just gonna blow closed on you haha.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the rig, phone/'camera/mic has issues. This cummins runs like a champ.

Delete the silencer in your air intake tube it will help it breathe a little better
