Brennan's back and this time he's FURIOUS. He's been furious before, but I thought it was worth noting. I am very proud of how this one turned out and hope you all enjoy it too! Oh and I know I said I was going to do the Two Fishermen animation, but I needed more time, so I did a short one first :) (so don't worry, that one's on its way) Thanks for reading!

Okay, so I'm not the only one who felt that rant was on the cusp.
By that point they know Brennan enough to be 100% sure he polished his arguments ranting under his breath for months
I'm willing to bet that Sam has already heard a little of this before, and this was him giving Brennan permission to stop being polite and let it all flow out.
It’s just a constant stream of consciousness and he put it on speaker lmao
Brennan nevers forgets. Never forgives. He seethes and waits for the perfect moment to get his revenge, when it is no longer piping hot, but a cold husk of a meal.
Brennan is the day old cold bitter coffee of revenge.
And yet he redirects that seething rage into comedy for us... so all is well.
I remember in a Make Some Noise bit, he specifically mentioned a roseate spoonbill as a way if showing that he has since learned their name from the Name that Bird segment in Game Changer

The flashback to the 'Brennan can't win' episode was so perfect because that was exactly what my brain did when I first heard this rant
Brennan still being salty about the "Yes or No?" episode and keeping a *picture* of Ally's and Zacky's triumph to remind him of the disgrace he suffered that day is just so on point XD
I love how you edited out the ending where Sam gives Brennan actual points and instead included a compilation of the loosiest goosiest points quote unquote that Sam has ever given ahah and the INCORRECT -10 points bit was perfect. 😂
I don't know which I love more: Sam getting cowed into giving 10 points in the original or the tripling down on the nonsense and cloning it edited together here.

DBI, I need you to know that my kids (as well as myself) adore your animations. They say things like "Where's your bulb now?", unknowingly quote MacBeth, and my three year old shouts "I'm Merobiba!" at random. Now I have a new one to show them, they're going to be so happy! Holy shit, that 2-second shot where it's Brennan sitting in a dark room, looking at the photo of Zack and Ally with crowns, saying with tears in his eyes, "I can try harder next time." Fucking fantastic!
And the fact that there’s just the slightest crack in his voice at that moment that got translated into sobbing is just PERFECT.

I think my favorite part about this monologue is how quickly he jumps into it. Sam is barely finished saying the prompt, and Brennan is already started. You can tell that he’s genuinely been waiting to say this for awhile.

I really love what you've done to ramp up the tension and timing in this bit. LIke, the sound of Brennan running as Sam is finishing the prompt followed by Brennan grabbing the mike? The sheer rage and his face at "It still hurts EVERY TIME"? The inclusion of the image from the yes and no game? It's all incredible. I've watched this like four times.
The mash-up of all the absurd point amounts Sam has awarded at the end was fantastic

the screen shake when Brennan slams his hands on the desk at "WHIM" is sublime 😩 👌
The details in this. From Sam's glasses getting cracked and them staying cracked to the call back to "I cannot win!" from Game Changer to a million more is amazing.
The callback to "Yes or No" was just perfect, so many of us were thinking of it XD
I love the animation of Brennan answering in less than a second; especially with Sam’s concerned face with those shaking eyes and of course Brennan breaking Sam’s glasses. It’s perfection.
I always watch these twice when they come out, once to look at the animation and once to read the subtitles just to catch those silly little descriptions of things
The detail to make the camera op look really similar to the one we see in a lot off episodes is next level brilliant, you really go to a next level amount of quality with your details

I cannot get over how smooth Notebook Sam’s appearance was. That’s the kind of animation that makes me want to appreciate each little frame.
0:12 Sam's hand claps being turned into Brennan giving Sam the business is just wonderful improv in animation. The fact that his glasses stay cracked the rest of the way just makes it that much sweeter.

I said almost exactly the same thing like a couple episodes into Make Some Noise. Glad to know this is the way the players actually feel too.
so many cool details, i love the inclusion of Ash and the striped shirt, the podiums and Sam's glasses being crakced is just a nice touch, i also love the yes or no reference and the handdrawn looking bit was fun, i also love the montage of weird point things at the end, beutifal

Okay I’ve only just given Brennan’s rants a Watch recently, and I really appreciate the manic energy you give him. He’s not just crazy or angry, he looks like he’s constantly trying to contain all his emotions and is *barely* able to do so!
I sweat he has prepared for every and all rants, like the Batman of rants.
I love that it seemingly didn't occur to Brennan to not give the ear to someone to keep feelings from being hurt, but to just go back to a point system lol

My favorite Easter egg is that the camera person Brennan is holding hostage here is the camera person who wouldn't help Lou, Shioban and Brennan escape the green room and I love that so much! Props to you!
2 things: the slaps absolutely sent me. On a more serious note, considering your animation style is quite simple, like in the shapes and facial features, it’s absolutely incredible how the characters still look SO MUCH like their human counterparts. Like how does this circle face with a floppy hair do look so much like Brennan. What I mean to say is, you really frickin capture the essence of the people you are animating

I really enjoy when we get to see Brennen's true feelings on a topic. We need more of it.

The fact that the points system for this show is entirely arbitrary is part of what makes it so great. It’s the only game show I’ve ever seen where fairness counts for nothing. The host can single out any player he likes, for whatever reason he likes, and that player is always Brennan.
I love this moment so much and the cherry on top is the buzzer at the end. Just a perfect punctuation to this moment of the Bird Boy's big rant.

I have to agree with Brennan here. We on the discord have analyzed and discussed the keystrokes of Sam Reich, and have concluded it's all random. So either Sam is an incredible mathematician (a good trait for a CEO) keeping track of the point system in his head OR chaos reigns.
I don't think it's a secret that it's random.
I think you all know as well as I do that Sam revels in chaos of his own making.
