I love the laptop stickers, especially the Nightvale one
this is a wild animatic to watch as someone who somehow missed this episode and has neither read nor seen Dune lmao
I've been binge watching your mbmbam videos to get through some very very dull weeks of work and this is absolutely one of my favorite :) i love how shiny you made Griffin during the Pam section and afterwards
I did not know what a "Gom Jabbar" was and I thought the title was "Gom *Jabber*" as in (from the illustration) a finger-affixed needle that jabs goms. Goms of course meaning mouths. So, a golden toothpick or sorts.
Travis: "Despite personally knowing people who crush your hand when you shake their hand, I don't think that this is a thing that people do."
One of my favorite bits. You always do such a good job. I love it
I’ve been waiting years for someone to animate this! Thank gods you did~ phenomenal work as always!
dealing with someone known for strong handshakes? powermove and offer a high five instead.
I love a joke where griffin is loving making travis laugh the most
i feel like even without knowledge of Dune or NBA stuff, you can understand this bit in it's entirety. as evidence of this, i don't know shit about either. this is high quality comedy
I don't know much about Dune so when I immediately read the title as "The Gum Jabber" and thought it had to do with some horrifying toothpick or something.
fear kills the mind, gom jabbar kills the man
I'm loving the dune jokes
I honest to God have no memory of this bit and I've listened to every episode, so thank you for this
"What do you despise? By this are you truly known." -Princess Irulan
I went to see Dune for the first time the other day bc it was on at my local cinema and all I could think about was this video 😂😂
Geo, you continue to choose all my favourite bits. You king.
"FEAR IS THE LITTLE DEATH!" Someone's got a specific kink...
Seriously though, if someone ever hits you with that crusher handshake, the solution is to overreact. Shout in pain, say that you think they may have broken your hand, and repeatedly ask them "why did you do that?"
If you force them to confront it, and shame them in front of a crowd you can correct that behavior for life AND crush the a-holes spirit in the process
Yes. Then cradle your crushed hand in your other hand and look them in the eyes and say "is....this what you wanted??"
I pray for the courage to commit to this the next time it happens
You will also make yourself look like an absolute idiot
@@brennanneaton3062 found the small dick energy crusher handshake guy.
fact is, everyone else in the room is going to know what's up. they've all shaken your hand, and they all know how unpleasant it is. If you think they're not going to relish the opportunity to stick it to you, you're mistaken bud.
@@schmendrake lmao someone who does an extremely firm handshake is definitely a clown, but I’m telling you man any normal person would peg you as the stranger one if you started screaming about how he hurt your hand.
If it wasn't for this animation, I wouldn't have a clue what this was about. Thank you!
finally! loved this bit and have been waiting to see it animated since i first heard it
Every video is getting better!! I do not remember this clip at all so the laughs were totally new and your animations made it that much better!!! Great job!
even when i didn't know what the gom jabbar was i still cried laughing at this bit
Whenever I need a pick me up, I watch this clip and it gives me so much joy lol
I heard this episode like years ago and it's still my Only touchstone for Dune jfjsidndj
and here comes the dentist, straight towards your mouth with...what's that?
the gum jabber!
Having neither read nor watched Dune, I assumed from the thumbnail that this said "Gum Jabber", and now I'm still not sure I'm wrong
New hyperfixation dropped, gonna get me some Gom Jabbers
You go down to the comment section, you're having time reading them. Wait whats that you see in this one? IT'S THE GOM JABBAR
Man, Griffin just ADORES that gom jabbar...
I always see this title and think it says “Gob Jammar” and think they’re talking about tooth picks
