I spent two years in Napoli and lived in Centro storico (historical center). While most tourists only get to enjoy the rich treasure of food the city has to offer, I was lucky to also experience their warm culture. The people are amazing and their ways of life is incredible. Reminds me a bit of India as people find a way to smile through their troubles. Cant wait to get back :)
This is one of your best street food video, the food tour guide is very passionate and knows every history of every food places you visit. Can't wait for the next tour
Apart from bringing best foods in your videos, you bring best people as well. The accent and voice of your host is so humble and innocent. Thank you both🙏 Best of luck, stay blessed.
Now you know why Italy has the best food and cuisine in the world: it's all about dedication, commitment and attention towards the quality of the ingredients. You've seen Naples but that attention to details and quality is everywhere in Italy, it's a cultural trait. Yes we're obsessed by food.
Italian cuisine is truly to die for. It's sad that we can only eat vicariously with you but it feels like we can almost smell Naples as you take us around it.
I'm so fortunate to have a mother from Montecorvino Rovella... very near to Napoli. My childhood holiday memories in this area of Naples were of the amazing food there. His reactions to this cuisine is so real...its amazing food...I need to go back soon to see my family there!
I miss Naples so much. i lived there for 5 years and a US Government worker. Trying to get back there. I miss my Naples Fam. The food there was the best i ever had.
I was born in Napoli, and i'm still surprised to see the our speciality, the passion in the eyes of people to do what they love. Napoli is a great treasure for all the world.
Something I notice about food travel shows in Italy… the people are not just happy to share their culture but they are alway proud of what they are making and love to share a bite with everyone.
This remind me of a great friendships I have with a co-worker. She was from Italy and she was old. We work at Burger King and everyone dislike her except me. She will be miss.
I lived there for three years. Fascinating place and I learnt a lot from this video. I could taste the pizza as you were eating it... Deserved a 10. Well done.
It's nice to see you here in Italy Trevor, I hope to see more videos of you and Ting trying our great foods! I suggest you to visit even the north part of the country because it's very different, actually every region it's very different and have it's own specialties, no other place in the world have this such type of variety! Greetings from Piedmont.
Country of pasta & pizza, they r so proud of it. Italy has also the best expensive car Ferrari, luxury clothes Armani, Mozzarila, this rare Neapolitan Gazzosa drink, never heard bevoren, and a lot of more sweet things, love that state.
the buffalo mozzarella, eaten w2ithin hours since made its pure joy. just cannot describe how good it is. i like to eat it with parma ham (sweeet) tomato salad and bread
My God where have you been Trevor? Good to see you again, i wonder quite often why you upload much fewer videos lately. Hope TFR will be as active as before. GB
Just to be precise, the mozzarella factory is not located in Castellabate (which is anyway not far from there) but in Capaccio-Paestum. I used to buy mozzarella there and have breakfast with buffalo yogurt. That is a very unique place!
Oh my God !!!!! You are with Amedeo !!!!!! Teacher of Neapolitan language and Neapolitan culture . 🤩😍🥰💙💙💙. You made BINGO !!!!!!! Amedeo it's a Legend in Naples !!!!!! 😇🤩😍🥰💙😻
4:48 we have similar drink in southern India. One big cup you will get lime soda. On a small cup you will get crushed chilli, cilantro, parsley mixed with baking soda or powder. When you put small cup filled with these into a big cup, the soda rises. You need to finish the drink before the soda rises up and spills on the floor.
I really really waited to see your video, many food blogging channels are present on youtube, but your video is the best, so please don't stop to upload videos on RUclips and Thanks for this video.
As ubiquitous as Italian food is here in the US, the fried foods commonly sold in a "friggitoria," a fried food shop, are not as readily available. I mean, I've never seen or encountered that fried lump of bucatini or that "fried pizza" anywhere before. They must be fantastic. And, I can tell that was an extraordinary Margherita pizza too. We have Margherita pizza, of course, in the US...but, those ingredients, that Mozzarella and those San Marzano tomatoes, fresh from the Campania region, must put that pizza over the top. Wow...
Just yesterday I said to my husband haven’t seen you in a minute. I see the short Facebook posts. And here you are posting today. Wondering did you move to Europe? Good to see you and Ting. See you next video.
YES. So happy to see another upload, and what a surprise of a city! I can't wait to dive into this later today with the family around the TV. Thanks so much for your work and can't wait for what's next!
Chinese pasta is not italian pasta. Both were originated separately...just the shape is similar. They ´ve never had commercials contacts before Marco Polo journey, and we have related of italian pasta before Roman Empire.
Trevor, I loved your excitement over the margarita pizza! It was awesome to see your enthusiasm. I felt like I could taste it and experience it just watching. Yum. That fried pasta (bucatini) and cheese thing looked amazing too. Amadeo was a treasure, the perfect guide, and I just loved this video. Thanks!

The traditional Neapolitan pizza is best in the world, no doubt about it. Not a fan of the pizza fritta and the pastries though. But other little fried goodies that they sell on the street are delicious.

They play classical music to the buffalos, so that they are not stressed when they give their milk. That's just too good :)
