Then, I'll show you where to find the BEST pizza in all of Napoli, home of the original Margherita pizza! From there, I'll take you to a local cafe for some of the best street food in Naples Italy. I was born in Naples and of course I'm Napolitan. Since 2017 I live in Germany and while I was watching your video I was almost crying 'cause I miss my city, my people and the food. I just came from a video where someone was tasting real Italian pasta in Italy for the first time. A commenter reminisced about their first time in Italy, they said, “What have I been eating his entire time?!” Hilarious to come here and you express “what have I been drinking?!” When it comes to the espresso. I cannot wait to travel to Italy. It sounds like an incredible treat.

This morning I sent your Rome part 1 & 2 video, as well as this Naples video to my dh and told him we are going to Italy! I need to see where my grandparents came from, and then see Rome and Naples... a month at least. Then off to Paris for another month, I will check your videos for France... My husband loves the pastas I made during our 42+ yrs of marriage, and will love the real food even more. We are not strangers to Europe as we lived in Frankfurt, Germany for 3+ yrs from 1980 on (before the wall came down! our son was only 5mths old when we went, he is 39yrs old now married with 3 children!). We travelled and loved the food and people and can't wait to get back...

Italy is the best for all
One of our main port of calls in the late 80s (US Navy) particularly during Christmas. I use to spend ALL my pay check buying these best-pizza. Paired with the exterior tables and interior HUGE aquartium- this was an experience of a lifetime. Still wishing to return

Ciao Suzanne, in south italy the sea in October is beautiful and still warm, also you must visit the Amalfi coast....and remember that, maybe we are not so serious in many things.... but for hospitality we are unbeatable...Un abbraccio dall'Italia.

about Neapolitan culinary traditions, good coffee is an "institution" and I am surprised you did not mention the «caffé sospeso», a typical Neapolitan practice (never seen otherpart in the world) inspiring by its mediterranean generosity.

I began my search for info on my maternal grandparent's (nana & nanu long since deceased) homeland of Palermo on your site ... and have now learned so very much about their lives because of it ... having gone to many places in Sicily and Italy WITH YOU ! Watching this during the Covid pandemic and unwilling to travel abroad, your video was so well shot that I literally felt like I was in those wonderful cafes, enjoying that amazing cuisine. What a pleasure to watch.
Italian food is to the human stomach what Dante Alighieri is to the poetry. Paradiso divino. I went to Napoli last year for a week and EVERY SINGLE DAY during the entire stay I ate pizza napolitana, had at least 4 cups of coffee (Passalacqua) and 3-6 scoops of gelato, always in a different place. That's about my last meal if I were on the death row.
Love Naples, going there again this Fall. However, we had terrible coffee and awful service at Cafe Gambrinus! Had great coffee on Spaccanapoli.

Euro Trotter : They just seemed like it was too much effort to serve us! I think the cafe on Spaccanapoli was called “Mexican Cafe”? It might be long gone as it was 6 years ago. They had the best sfogliatelle too.
