Beautiful 💗. Easy to follow tutorial. Thanks for sharing💗
So happy you enjoyed it! Thank you!
If I wanted a tighter stitch should I just go down hook size? I was thinking of stitching on some snow ❄️ flakes I crochet. I’m using dusty rose & creme together, cotton. This is such a good tutorial, I’m subscribing ! Thank you for your time! Shine on🧶💎🧶
Hi! Yes you can absolutely go down a hook size for a tighter stitch, you’ll use a bit more yarn than I did though. I think that’s going to look amazing! So happy you enjoy the tutorial! ❤️
Hi there! I’m really hoping I can get some advice. I’ve been trying to make this skirt (I’m several attempts in) and each time the ends begin overlapping, as if the proportions of my hexagon aren’t correct. I’ve restarted several different time and have followed your tutorial to a T! Do you know what might be happening?
I’m having a hard time telling apart the chain one space from my regular chains. Do you have any advice?
Hi! Sorry for the late reply! Try marking your CH 1 spaces with a stitch marker!
Hi! I’m a new crocheter👋🏽…how do I change yarn to have an edge like yours?
I changed color on row 20. So on the last stitch of row 19, I started my half double crochet as normal but on the final pull through of the stitch, I dropped my current yarn, and pulled through with the new color. Then I chained 1 and turned, and continued with the new yarn. Hope that helps!
@@TheTurtleTrunk 🤔ok, seems simple. Thank you for responding!
How long would you say this takes to make? An hour or less?
I would say more like 3-4 hours. The first few rows work up really fast but as the skirt gets larger, each row will take longer to make. It will really depend on how fast you can crochet though.
What's the total of yarn you used for the Christmas tree skirt?
I used a total of 1,300 yards of yarn
Pozdravi ❄️👍❄️👍🥀👍🥀👍
Back loops only?
Nope! I worked in both loops, but if you wanted there to be a more prominent ribbing, you can work in the back loop only.
It looked like that to me too. Thanks for asking this question. I’m about to start on my tree skirt. Super excited
