FabriTac and Fabrifix are both made by Beacon. FabriTac is more expensive because there’s more solvent in the product and it’s stronger, when needed for fabric. Fabifix is perfect for paper.
So agree. I almost never use white glue. The one thing I would add is when you use a pin in the opening, be sure the pin is stainless steel or your glue will end up discolored.
Thank you so much for this. I've been looking for PVA alternatives for exactly the reason that the PVA is warping my paper so this video has been extremely helpful.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I’m in an international DIY postcard swap group. I needed to adhere cream colored mixed media paper to some black paper. I was so nervous! I didn’t want to get any glue on the black. I saw your video, went straight out to buy some fabric glue at Michael’s. Omg! I had to glue 11 of the cream colored to the black. It was so quick. So easy. And not messy at all. My postcards look awesome! Thank you!!!! ❤️❤️
Have you worked at all with the Beacon 3 in 1? Just wondering if that helps with warping as well. I looked on Amazon and the Fabri Tac is about the same price as the Fabri Fis for an 8 ounce bottle. Iam currently using Matte Medium and the warping on my collages is terrible. This is a gae changer for me.....thank you so much for sharing.
Do you tend to use a specific paper/journal with a certain amount of grams? I’m not sure what journal to pick as I would like to start journaling adding papers, decorations or collaging
I use any and all paper and never really think about weight, but definitely not something as specific as grams. Sounds too math and sciency to be fun! 🤣😂
CG-bk4yd your paper choices don't have to be really specific all the time but there are some types of paper that are better for doing certain things than others like you would never use printer weight paper to cover a journal or make a folio, journal cards, and many other things you should watch a lot of different junk journaler's especially those who have been doing it for years. Also when you search through you-tube type in the search scrapbooking and junk Journaling (at different times of course 😊) and it will bring up only journalers, cardmakers, scrapbookers and only videos of paper crafters mostly, but each one brings up a variety not just ie: scrapbooking doesn't only bring up scrapbookers etc. Good Luck I hope this helps you gain more interest in becoming a paper crafter. I would give you some names but I don't know how this young lady feels about that on her page, everyone is different. Nice, informative video.
My fabric tac has gotten very thick and I have a hard time getting it out of the bottle. Do you have a remedy or something that will work to thin it out so its more runny. Norma

Good to know!

I assumed it was the same, but I haven’t tried it. Maybe I will ask out there in the Junk Journal Community and get back to you!
I just asked a bunch of people and apparently Beacon 3 in 1 is the same as Fabri-fix and Fabri-tac
@@rootpursuitthank you💕
I pick up the 3 in 1 from the dollar store.

I heard you can add acetone, like in nail polish remover.
Please use pure acetone, not a nail polish remover. You need just a few drops and add later as you need.😊
You can thin it with rubbing alcohol.
Well i just.surrendered to the wrinkles and warp
Sometimes that’s okay too!! 😃
