Hey, thanks for watching! Appreciate the support!
this is epic :D
also if u ain't got a cloud texture add the empty volumetric, connect it to mesh then play around with extruding cloud mesh faces (around 25 random ones in pairs of 3) and use proportional editing till the smoky part looks decent/ not blocky then hide cloud. Works in eevee at least.
Thanks for watching! Appreciate the support!
very very helpful! thank you! I just had a concern with cloud color which i solved by assigning a value of 4 to light path of volume in render and it came out perfect! thanks again for sharing!
Very helpfull. Thanks

Dude great tutorial but volume modifier not showing I mean when I click on Add modifier the "Mesh to volume" and "volume displace " not showing
I have checked that Volume Empty was selected
That happened to me too. Update to the newest version of blender and reload your project and the option will be there. Hope that helps.
@@jacobdesioreviews Me too. I was using 2.90 and changing to 2.93 solved my problem. Thanks a lot!

Honestly man
U upload right when I needed the most.
Thanks 😊
bro thx
Big up for this great tutorial! Everything looks fine but I still have question: You can't apply the modifiers at the end. You will get an error "Cannot apply modifier for this object type". Without applying the modifiers, you aren't be able to delete the cube and to export the vdb-cloud. How do you solve this problem?
The fix for this is: in the 'Scene Selection' box go to the "Toggle Restrictions" dropdown in the upper right and select the "Disable in Renders" icon in the top row (camera icon). Then click that same "Disable in Renders" icon that's to the right of your cube. Now when rendering that object won't appear in the final.
@@michaelsoto9869 Thx for the answer but this isn't solve the applying-modifiers bug. I want to export the vdb-files, without being able to apply the modifiers the cloud will not become a vdb cloud
thanks for knowlegde
Thanks!
Im going to press shifting 😂, Nice tutorial!
Question. On 4:28. I dont understand what you said. I dont know what to do on this part to make the cloud hidden
I also understand, what happend in this moment
It looks like it has hidden the geometry created initially and left only the VDB. That's what I understood!
I realy apreciate this tutorial. Have one question though: the cloud texture size limit is 2 - is there a way to increase it? I need to apply this method to a larger object
i love you bro
man i couldnt find the volume to mech modifier should i turn some add on on if yes tell under what name and thank u so much
Great tutorial friend , thanks , you are best , you deserve more
Love you mate
Help me to make mountains on blender pls !
Fantastic tutorial, understandable and straight to the point. This is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much ;)
Hey, thanks!
Big fan
Thanks, appreciate the support!
gee thanks man
Thanks
Thank you for this tutorial, do you know how would I achive effect of "poping" that cloud, like I want it to "pooof" in smaller cloud balls/parts
for the cloud mesh cant we just use metaballs and arrange them in fluffy basic blockouts
gotta love how the thumbnail shows a cloud that looks nothing like the one in the tutorial
my render still is a little bit edgy and pixelated. does anyone know why? i tried a higher resolution and also tried it with more samples... but its still pixelated at some points
HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS
My Render was also showing the cube so I tried disabling the cube visibilty of camera from object properties. Still the end results are not great. i can see holes inside my cloud and they are at center. looking really ugly. Any solution for that?
great, clouds for my airplanes, thx a lot
Thanks for watching!
Do you maybe know why I can't change the place of the cloud? I want to change its location but it doesn't move, it rotates instead.
You need to move the actual mesh, not the volume empty.
Nice tutorial! but When I try to move the cloudit doesn't work, just the yellow point moves
Thanks for the tutorial! One question tho, I can't seem to move my cloud.?
seriously this was the best video I've seen about creating Clouds. Thanks @pinkpocketTv
Thanks for watching
Hi man! Just stubbles across your video and they’re amazing! I was wondering if you could do this same tutorial for Unreal Engine 5? They removed tessellation so I’m completely lost on how to do it now
Yeah for UE5 you have to use Virtual Heightfield Mesh and Virtual Textures to do the landscape displacement.
Bro, how to apply the modifiers in volume, I need it to so that I could delete the cube
bro, how can I move that cloud from left or right & up or down?
I tried with G key but it doesn't work?
Can you please tell me that?
how i can colorize this cloud, want to make it blue ?! thanks
how do you create a volume? the option does not seem to be appearing for me like it did for you. Is there a plugin that I have to use?
you need to update blender to 2.91 version
after volume - empty nothing shows add modifier
Can I have help please?
