things to note during Sejumaru v Uryu that I CANNOT GET OVER: 1. she weaponizes peoples fears/weaknesses, implying she can see into their minds/hearts/lives. She weaponized the Auswahlen AND the Hollows that killed Soken against him in the fight. (that "end your bloodline" and "shouldve stayed hidden in the living world" comment also felt VERY targeted) 2. Uryu being caught in her fabrics in a crucified martyr pose. So fitting and haunting. 3. The animators actually have him holding his bow string in a (visually appealing form) combo of the tertiary pinch draw and the thumb draw. Very cool detail to see as an archer 4. THE RED EYES AND AN INCOMPLETE HOLY FORM. idk what it means but I WAS SHAKING, WE WAITED YEARS AND WE FINALLY GOT IT! Uryu lovers WON this episode, I'm so incredibly happy. And this doesnt feel like the end to us seeing his powers either, even without knowing Ichigo v Uryu is ahead.
I believe the red eyes and incomplete holy form could mean that Uryu is still inexperienced with his power since he just received it and still needs time to fully manifest it, but it could also show how he is trying to resist Yhwach’s influence and power, but that’s just my opinion.
1. Pretty sure she's literally weaving fate. What happened in the past has already been woven and can be used at will. What happens in the future is the fate she weaves into her main attack. If she's strong enough to be a 0 squad captain then it's probably not just an attack. Senjumaru unleashing Hollows was amazing but also shows us how Soul Society's top brass are themselves an antithesis, no pun intended. Uryu in action was amazing and the animation overall epic.
I love how Uryu Vs Senjumaru made the Antithesis even more broken and godly than it was before! Uryu is without a doubt a top tier guy at this point, and I like how connected the Almighty and Antithesis were in the episode!
It still only really shines in situations where Uryu is getting dominated. Any damage he inflicts on his opponent before using it is also redirected back on to him. Also now in theory if he fought Senjumaru again using the Antithesis would instantly blow a hole in his heart and kill him.
@@Babylauncher3000 I don't think you completely get how it works. He doesn't swap/take the effects from the other person, too, such as the damage they took. He undoes the effects of the main target he wishes to affect. As such, he would only undo the damage on him, or rather, the act of "Senjumaru damaging Uryu", which means she damages herself. Another example is the medallion scene, where Uryu didn't swap Yhwach and the medallion, but reversed the act of "Yhwach throwing the medallion". If the Antithesis didn't work like this, it would be a rather useless ability and not worthy of the A-Level like Almighty. Its goal is to reverse the acts/events between any two targets that go in the favor of its user, aka Uryu.
@@JohnMclawerence They really don’t. The Question doesn’t work if the victim can’t hear. The Overkill doesn’t include microcrobes otherwise washing his hands would grant thousands of kills. The Visionary cannot create additional reishi so it cannot endlessly multiply itself. Even The Almighty’s reality manipulation is limited to Yhwach’s general surroundings. He cannot will people to death he cannot see.
@@nikoladrca5324 I think you are confused. Its not that targeted. The Antithesis specifically swaps the cause and effect history of two targets even if that is technically impossible. Uryu gets to choose the targets such as Yhwach throwing a badge outside the Tree Prison being reversed into the Badge throwing Yhwach outside the Tree Prison instead. Yhwach needed to interact with that badge personally for the Antithesis to work the way it does. Using Antithesis on two objects or people who have no prior history with each other will cause nothing to happen. Because use of the Antithesis counts as part of someone’s history with Uryu him using it again on the same person would cause things he reversed to become mirrored back on himself. That’s why it’s only uses in the entire series occur when Uryu is on the verge of death and caused absolutely no damage to his opponent. If he harmed them prior that harm is redirected to Uryu.
I believe that was an incomplete vollstandig for Uryu since church bells were tolling in the background and faux wings. We might get a complete one later in thr series, maybe against Ichigo 👀
Since they've basically split Völlstandig into a Shikai and Bankai, I'm hoping to see Uryu and Haschwalt use their first releases (wings + halo + Schrift boost) in their fight and then Uryu's full release against Ichigo.
If we do, I'm wondering if we might get a name for it. I'm not sure how they named each Vollstandig, but I'm thinking that Uryu's might translate to something that means 'Reversal of God'
I think Senjumaru's anti-Quincy comments make sense for her character based on how she called Yhwach "Pure Evil" before, I think that hints at her being unwilling to comprehend the nuances of the Quincy vs Soul Reaper conflict I guess it follows that she sees the Quincy the same way
That or the Zero Division think that they are the good guys, and therefore those that oppose them are evil. Which is ironic considering what they have done to the Soul King and that they may have been responsible for Ywhach turning evil in the first place.
@@Gonapa58 I personally think her views are perfectly in line with the standard genocidal attitude towards Quincies by Soul Society at large, or at least Seireitei's attitude.
It's a translation, so I'm sorry if it's weird. The song of Futentaisatsuryo is a melody made by traditional Japanese musical instruments that have been handed down since ancient times. When Japanese people listen to it, everyone will remember Japanese culture😌 byJapanese viewers.
I feel very grateful to have an anime adaptation that fixes some of the issues the manga had. Squad 0 no longer looks incompetent compared to the Shinigami who fight the Schutzstaffel later and the way they went out makes sense since the other members took themselves out to power up Senjumaru. I can’t imagine another anime that ever had its issues fixed like the way Bleach did.
How did the 0 Division look incompetent compared to the shinigami who fought them later? It took multiple shibigami and asspulls to beat the Schutzstaffel individually, not even including Uryu and Haschwalth. The 0 Division fought all 6 combined and (as far as we knew) lost Oetsu due to the sudden turn around, making it a 3v6 in Quincy's favor. The only reason that was possible was because Yhwach ressurected the Schutzstaffel after they got wiped
@@corruptangel6793 I think he means how they were treated in the manga and got off screened versus how they got the justice they deserved in the anime and showed they were actually strong as they said they were
Still the Almighty just feels so broken that nothing really matters against it. Feels like aizen is really only able to stand against that with his hax. Basically the power scaling seems a little lazy with The Almighty.
We are so back indeed! These reaction videos are always such an absolute blast to watch each week! Now all I need is Tekking's Bankast and I'll be more than happy haha
Bleach is hitting all the right notes with this third part, and the episode was packed with revelations that elevate the stakes. The exploration of Uryu’s newfound strength is fascinating-he’s no longer just in the shadows; he’s emerged as a major player. The interplay between Ichigo’s humility and the arrogance of the Zero Squad against the Quincies shows that the Shinigami’s overconfidence is about to backfire. Uryu’s "Almighty" power, paired with his red eyes and speculation about his connection to the Soul King, adds layers of mystery. The direction of this arc feels like a game-changer for the Bleach universe.
It’s interesting how the Almighty can help Yhwach’s subordinates like with Senjumaru’s Bankai unless it was Uryu who got out with the Antithesis. I can imagine it going either way.
It's definitely cuz uryu has the A schrift. His schrift is just above the rest In potential. But he still hasn't mastered his power, that's uryu weakness inexperience with his new power.
I feel like uryu was the only one FULLY released from the bankai so he fought senjumaru while either hashwalt talked to no one or Uryu was remembering a past explanation. I also feel like what we saw as far as Uryu’s power WAS an early stage volsterndich that he has nowhere near mastered
Uryu's wings felt like an incomplete Völlstandig or something similar, we know from the bambies that it isn't always instantly available. Even with being Uryu and having experience with the Letz Still, makes sense a Schrift like the Antithesis wouldn't let itself be tamed this fast. Alternatively, there may also be some resistance on Uryu's part, here. A Völlstandig is the symbol of a sternritter, of the wandenreich, and seems to be a power granted bt Yhwach. Makes sense for him to not want to rely on it.
Yeah, I'm guessing that this is a step before the first release of his Völlstandig, and we'll see the first stage (wings + halo) and a complete release without even needing Sklave Rei later on.
Yhwach is the one responsible for killing Uryu's mom. Makes sense he doesn't want to rely on Vollstandig but later on probably will, just to aid in Yhwach's defeat in a twist of irony.
@@djaxeman2424 In the same way that he survived Auswahlen, I wonder if he'll retain his Schrift after Yhwach's death. Could be a parallel to Ichigo presumably retaining OMZ as well.
I have a feeling that we're going to find out that Uryu has been actively fighting against Yhwach's control this entire time. That's why he keeps having the crackly eyes, he's actively suppressing the powers, and why he had this vague wings. Yhwach was trying to force Uryu into a Vollständig form but couldn't because Uryu has been suppressing it. Likely because he knows that if he fully accepts that power, thats it. He'll never be able to betray Yhwach.
Thats what I was thinking too. It looked like he struggled and resisted. Hopefully they make the link that if Ishida ever uses vollständig properly, he will be vulnerable to the auswählen and lose his immunity to it
@@kakashihatake1029 Thats a great point. I know when Yhwach mentions that Uryu was the only one to survive the auswählen, Uryu's answer was only "I found the answer in my grandfather's book" and then never elaborates on it further.
@@InfinityKrompt yeah they should definitely show us more about that. The Ishida family is the primary reason why Yhwach didn't win. Hopefully they bring up that book again.
How Uryu awakens Antithesis the exact same time with Yhwach awakens Almighty is 👌😚*chefs kiss Edit : Also I think episode title "A" refers both Almighty and Antithesis
The two things that I appreciated about the fight between Uryu and Senjumaru are Senjumaru summoned hollows with her cloths. It makes me wonder if they are made of cloth or if she is releasing hollows from her cloths. If it's the latter, there's a sinister aspect to it. She has no problem using these creatures against others. Uryu's volstandich has distorted church bells, which makes it feel wrong and unnatural.
Wow Uryu is... Well I believe we all must thank the anime studio that they did my boy Uryu right! In manga he was underused but here we go, Uryu is awesome and I'm all for it. Hoping for new scenes with Uryu, and I love the activation of Anthisesis through his glasses, awesome.

Seeing Uryuu being not useless but purely a BADASS... hell yeah! That short little fight was fire!
I liked how Ichibe has a freaking musical number as the incantation for his sword's final technique I think Ishida just used the Antithesis to escape Senjimaru's bankai, that is how they switchedplaces. His volstendich probably improves his schrift somehow (like As Nodt), so that he can literally switch places with the opponent. When Uryu defeats Senjimaru, her bankai is undone like normal and the rest of the shutsstoffel escape
@MrTommo2304 You missed the Balance from Jugram. His whole room is burning instead of him. And i don't know why but it looks like all abilities got a buff with Yhwach opening his eyes.
He shared a portion of his soul with them, so if his soul awakens its true power then all those fragments are likewise buffed? Though it might literally just be Uryu who got the buff since they're parallels.
Reishi turns blue when controlled by Quincies, Shinigami reiatsu threads are red, maybe there's something in that about the change in colour of the SK crystal. Something like how the Quincies have abandoned him, so now there only are Shinigamis left.
I could see that being the true reason why Yhwach uses Ichigo to truly kill the Soul King. I thought it was just a big soap opera moment in the manga, but maybe it takes a Shinigami and a Quincy to actually kill the Soul King, or someone who is both.
I don't think the Schutzstaffel were freed just by Yhwach awakening. They weren't being damaged anymore but it seemed like Jugram was still in his tapestry until the Bankai dissolved. Only Uryu actually escaped the tapestry in my opinion.
I feel like that was uryus volstandich just not fully developed yet. And it would make sense considering the sternritters have been training for hundreds and even someone like candice wasn’t able to fully master her holy form so for someone like uryu who has been depicted as a “prodigy” among quincy in many instances it just feels right that he’s already on his way to mastering his power despite only being there for maybe a week?

Been waiting for this! Started watching your channel back when the TYBW arc was now wrapping up in the manga all those years ago. Happy to share your hype with the anime coming back! You got a fan from Trinidad 🇹🇹
Same VA for Sasuke and Uryu. Sasuke uses Rinnegan to swap places with people or objects. Uryu uses Antithesis to swap conditions with opponent. Coincidence? I think *NOT!*
I wish I could be happy as others but this still hasn’t fixed my issues with Squad Zeros performance They got waxed without even making those quincies use their transformed state(they were in base the WHOLE time) they dealt little to no lasting damage on the enemy. Hell, they couldn’t even get Pernida to take off his hoodie I appreciate the bankai reveal and the attempt so kudos to the animation team , they did the best they could with what they had
This episode was crazy especially with the added scenes and them teasing us with uryu's potential power. I really love how the anime is improving on this arc.
It was cool that even in the recap they put a scene in there that's new. Not a huge detail but it is appreciated. I can't watch the episodes myself since I have to save all the money I can right now (got a little one on the way) so the reactions of various youtubers is greatly appreciated. Yours of course being the best one imo
Uryu actually fighting and killing Senjumaru and not just finishing her off is such a huge deal for him because it reveals a few thing things not just him actually doing something for once in Tybw. It reveals his determination, the fact that he killed a shinigami and one of very high status without any hesitation and it shows his strength because he's not getting just one fight then shafted for the rest of the season like in the espada rescue arc. But when he sprouted wings the first thing that came to my mind was Goku's false Super Saiyan transformation in the Lord Slug movie and I loved those vibes.
The opening yesterday, and today: the ending, the Rebirth of Souls video, the 20th anniversary of the anime with TYBW animation of some of the major scenes of the OG series, and an absolutely amazing 1st episode of Cour 3... After a really difficult day trying to study for midterms, I'm so glad I had a bit of a break to watch all of it this evening.... I loved that Uryu got more scenes in the anime...
Nah i couldn't believe my eyes, Uryuu is onscreen and even doing things?? i'm living in the best timeline. Speaking of Uryuu, i think Ywach shared part of his power with him after regaining his strength which would explain the red eyes and that cut of Haschwalth being visibly upset, he could probably see slightly into the future which allowed him to beat Senjumaru. It could also just be a visual effect for the Antithesis but it can't be a coincidence they had this happen right after Ywach got his full strength back. I feel like his Vollstandig was overwhelmed by the amount of power he was abruptly given so it didn't manifest properly. Ywach walking up to the Soul Palace has to be my favorite scene from this episode. Loved the sound of the bells as he walked, it felt like the world already recognized him as the new king. edit: forgot to mention now the Schutzstaffel actually saw Uryuu fight, so that fixes Ywach saying they'll see why he chose him only for Uryuu to not do anything the whole arc lol.

Definetely my favourite moment was the few seconds we got with Aizen! The whole episode was cool and all, the few frames we got, when Shunsui went for Aizen was the coolest for me lol
I'll be honest, I'm kinda disappointed how easily Senjumaru went down after Uryuu broke free and then trapped her in her own Bankai. I wanted to spend more time with Uryuu in his hank, see a bit more of his actual motives, and have him finagle a way out that didn't involve the Almighty coming in clutch. Not to mention, I feel Senjumaru of all people shouldn't have died from just a shot to the heart, though I find it odd that she collapsed into unspooled fabric and disintegrated as opposed to leaving behind a corpse. I'm hoping this means she can get revived like Osho did. All in all, I wish this ending did more to show depth in Uryuu and Senjumaru's characters. As for the stuff I really liked, I will say that I loved Uryuu's really glitchy Vollständig. Even the church bells sounded like they were glitching out, which is awesome. I hope we get an explanation for this soon. Additionally, I love how back on the Tenchurin cannon, Ichigo can recognize Senjumaru's reiatsu immediately and talks about his time in the Royal Palace. It really makes his experiences there feel more real and glues it to the rest of the plot. Same goes for the moment when he revived Ichibei. I also loved how the initial chant to activate Fuuten Taisatsuryō was rendered like a folk song bidding the darkness to come to him. It's an element of Ichibei's character that I've always loved, his genuine affinity for all black. Finally, the music in general was decidedly awesome.
Yeah I genuinely was not expecting a one shot after all that buildup. They could’ve shortened the recap portion of the episode and extended her final moments just a bit more.
@@outbreakperfected5704 That's actually kinda genius, but I still felt it was a bit anti-climactic. Then again, I had huge expectations built up for this battle that likely never could have been met.
I just realized that Yhwach has 4 pupils so he can see you no matter which angle you view him from. He sees everything lol Great visual representation of The Almighty.
I love how they make use of the freeze frames to detail when Yhwach is making use of the Almighty. It's like he's reading a "Choose Your Own Adventure" book, but that book is existence itself. Also, in regards to Uryu, I imagine he's using something closer to Letzt Stil than a full vollstandig, considering he's only just got access to some of these abilities. My thought is that that's why his blut vene kicked in on his hand. He's keeping himself from being harmed by the kickback of his bootleg vollstandig.
Oh my god I'm so hyped and seeing the general online house for bleach is actually insane too I'm so happy bleach is getting all this love after all this time
Abit late to the party, but someone pointed out that during opening one of the lyrics says "On a lonely night, when you just want to cry" and it happens when there's a close up of Uryu's eyes activating Antithesis, most likely telling us that it pains him to cause this much hurt to his friends in order to protect them
Based on what they said in the episode. Yhwach's power was still sleeping. The full 9 years hadn't passed. It's likely he regained his full power at the end and the full nine years passed right before his defeat.
I like how Senjumaru made a callback to Mayuri and then Uryu retorted with his own callback with his quincy pride line to Mayuri, before ending Senjumaru.

@@Babylauncher3000 Every other schrift has way less restrictions, and Ishida's is ranked higher than all of them. Think it's massive underplay
Fun fact i noticed. Ichibei dancing is, in fact, not a new scene. Chapter 610, you can see him doing the jumping part. More so its extended.
Uryu actually did it,, he killed someone. That had my jaw drop. This shows what uryu is willing to do to achieve his goal.

I believe that was an incomplete vollstandig for Uryu since church bells were tolling in the background and faux wings. We might get a complete one later in thr series, maybe against Ichigo 👀
I really hope its for a potential Ichigo fight, if not i bet we will see it against Jugram
I think Senjumaru's anti-Quincy comments make sense for her character based on how she called Yhwach "Pure Evil" before, I think that hints at her being unwilling to comprehend the nuances of the Quincy vs Soul Reaper conflict
I guess it follows that she sees the Quincy the same way
That or the Zero Division think that they are the good guys, and therefore those that oppose them are evil.

Uryu and Yhwach dominated this episode.
Ichibie's Bankai animation was just as crazy as Yamamoto's... the way it was presented is fantastic.
The bells we're playing for uryu, it was definetly some form of völlstandig
@@corruptangel6793 I think he means how they were treated in the manga and got off screened versus how they got the justice they deserved in the anime and showed they were actually strong as they said they were
But can you imagine Chad loosing?
Still the Almighty just feels so broken that nothing really matters against it. Feels like aizen is really only able to stand against that with his hax. Basically the power scaling seems a little lazy with The Almighty.
I'm glad they fixed some of the lazy power scaling with the anime but they have a lot of balancing to do I feel going forward.
My jaw was totally dropped at Uryu's whole Antithesis sequence and killing Senjumaru
We are so back indeed! These reaction videos are always such an absolute blast to watch each week!
Now all I need is Tekking's Bankast and I'll be more than happy haha
Uryu’s somewhat form of Völlstandig, his wings in particular looks like something out of Gundam. Love it!
Lightning since Sasuke and uryu have desame VA
I'm thinking that since they're both 'A's, Uryu's full power couldn't be used before Yhwach opened his eyes.

When ichibe did his chant first thing that came to mind was kabooki
Jugram noticed something,I wonder if now,he is gonna start to watch uryu's movements a lot more,to see if he is up to something.(we know he is).
He noticed Uryu getting his powers, so yeah he'll definitely keep an eye out
I feel like uryu was the only one FULLY released from the bankai so he fought senjumaru while either hashwalt talked to no one or Uryu was remembering a past explanation. I also feel like what we saw as far as Uryu’s power WAS an early stage volsterndich that he has nowhere near mastered
I thought this was pretty obvious, what with Haschwalth being engulfed in flames.
In a meta sense, im sure they wanna save the full reveal for the Jugram fight or a potential Ichigo fight
Doubt it
Yeah, I'm guessing that this is a step before the first release of his Völlstandig, and we'll see the first stage (wings + halo) and a complete release without even needing Sklave Rei later on.

@@fan4rmmars239Awaken like Activate, not the other definition
In the manga uryu basically does nothing then helps us out so i can understand him being forgiven.
Now, he killed one of the royal guard lol.
The two things that I appreciated about the fight between Uryu and Senjumaru are
Senjumaru summoned hollows with her cloths.
I liked how Ichibe has a freaking musical number as the incantation for his sword's final technique
I think Ishida just used the Antithesis to escape Senjimaru's bankai, that is how they switchedplaces. His volstendich probably improves his schrift somehow (like As Nodt), so that he can literally switch places with the opponent. When Uryu defeats Senjimaru, her bankai is undone like normal and the rest of the shutsstoffel escape
I wasn't expecting the song and dance routine.....but I ain't complaining 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah I agree it was nice to see Ichibei actually act like a traditional japanese monk which he didn’t get to in the manga
@MrTommo2304
You missed the Balance from Jugram.
"A" for the "Almighty" and the "Antithesis"
Yes...we know that bruh

Giving Uruyu that dub is pretty significant. It puts him on a whole new level.

Glad your still doing your thing I missed rewatching the episodes with your expert insight
The symbol on ishidas hand is the mimihagi itself, looked like blue vene but if you pause it when his hand glows it shows the symbol

All that theater from Senjumaru just for her to get one shot. Had me laughing my butt off.
Senjumaru knows it, she gave Uryu a wink wink off-cam to remove that blood.
bro that soundscape to ardor OG soundtrack near the end got me crying inside
Definetely my favourite moment was the few seconds we got with Aizen! The whole episode was cool and all, the few frames we got, when Shunsui went for Aizen was the coolest for me lol
For the outro, you can see a glint shimmering on the Bambi’s that are still alive (Toto and Giselle)
This anime arc has officially surpassed the manga
This is gonna be a great cour. Rejoice, my fellas!

I could’ve swear Yhwach’s Almighty only has 3 pupils, the SK is the only one with 4.
Uryuu’s use of blut resembled instant regeneration
I love how they make use of the freeze frames to detail when Yhwach is making use of the Almighty. It's like he's reading a "Choose Your Own Adventure" book, but that book is existence itself.
Also, in regards to Uryu, I imagine he's using something closer to Letzt Stil than a full vollstandig, considering he's only just got access to some of these abilities. My thought is that that's why his blut vene kicked in on his hand. He's keeping himself from being harmed by the kickback of his bootleg vollstandig.
The Bankai and whatever Ichibe did looked like a domain expansion from JJK and they both looked amazing!!

I'm glad Uryu remembered to tap into his inner Uchiha. XD
Abit late to the party, but someone pointed out that during opening one of the lyrics says "On a lonely night, when you just want to cry" and it happens when there's a close up of Uryu's eyes activating Antithesis, most likely telling us that it pains him to cause this much hurt to his friends in order to protect them
When you told me a bleach character was gonna sing a song the last character id ever guess was ichibe
Based on what they said in the episode. Yhwach's power was still sleeping. The full 9 years hadn't passed. It's likely he regained his full power at the end and the full nine years passed right before his defeat.
Jugram is the only one other than Uryu that resisted the Bankai, everyone else already “died” and weren’t released until Uryu defeats Senjumaru
