Assume that's a satirical comment. It doesn't make sense as scopely introduced freebooters to limit grinding times, but then added xindi, silent enemies and gorn, all need different ships with special crewing, its not like one ship and crew can do all 3 on one hull.
I am sooooo very happy to see the NX-01. I know Enterprise (show) didn’t get a lot of love while it was on the air. Seasons 3 and 4 ( except These are the Voyages) were really showing what the show could have been had there been a season 5
My issue with this ship, not wacting the video yet, is worse than the Franklin A. even maxed at t3, it can not handle any ships other than the Aquatic X. For a paid ship and epic at that, it should be useful outside of just one hostile like the Talios. At 49 with most of my research done, I can grind with my talios efficiently on other reds outside of the borg. This ship needs its DPR raised and it needs to have some sort of bonus vs the other Xindi. This ship cant kill one of the normal ones which makes no sense. If this is to be the Xindi killer, then it needs to be able to kill all the Xindi. This is a feels bad purchase for me as I had hoped it would be on par with other specialty ships which it isn't even close. (edit: Lore is not a reason to release a crappy ship. None of the officers are LORE in regards to their abilities) This ship needs a buff. Do we really need another Franklin? Especially since the A was available for "free" if you had the old one maxed.
? I watched Rev last night pop a heavy in Romulus with his at t1. If you can't do any hostile grinding with yours at t3..sounds like you need to go watch his vids for crewing and research 🤷♂️
@jrspaulding8735 killing one heavy when my valdore can kill much more than one shows that there is a problem with the power of the ship. Sure, the higher the tier gives you more below deck crews, but if the ship is showing at 24m power, it should easily be able to do 10+ heavies, and this ship can not without a lot of help or buffs.
I have bought every ship that they have released... except for this. I have no desire for a Franklin-B. I will get it when I get it and I am fine with that.
Picard (T1), Bev (T3), Cath (t3) with Tendi (T2) below deck, max fortified with Titans fist at tier 6 and Titan Shield at tier 5, i got 4 Xindi Aquatic Battleships before I died with a T1 NX01.
I bought and it is so worth it. Crewed right the potential is very surprising. Hitting one high level bb's gives me what I need for the day. Tons of scrap trade, double pull on the aquatic exchange. Then I go with the risky pulls because even if you loose one the second will make up for it. I get more then enough to get stock up on ex-borg research.
Rev, I know you keep using the Meridian as a "needs sourcing" argument. I would say event stores are the sourcing in this case. In every other case you are limited to one ship worth of prints or less per store. The Meridian is the only one that you can collect two ships worth of prints. This would take care of most of your needs for the ship according to your own suggestions on how to use it. Add to that the Meridian is in every event store it is reliable sourcing even if it isn't continuous sourcing. If you want to push for sourcing push for the things that have no path free or otherwise like the Fesha Glas skin
As someone who has the NX01 the grind is just terribly hard. Please encourage developers to loosen the Xindi grind some it’s hard to grind for Xindi scrap
I found damage mitigation crews to be worthless. Battles lasted 30-40 rounds because these ships have ridiculous amounts of shield and hull. Takes forever to chew away at it even with the NX-01 damage bonus. Hull and shield strip officers (Tal, Yuki) shortened battles to 10-12 rounds. The shorter the fight, the less shot you get.
While that's true, the damage they do is also very front loaded, they fire an 'always critical' weapon in the first round that does more than everything else combined for the next 10 rounds or so. I think though ultimately none of those crews will matter and you simply end up running Archer-Trip-Whoever to max out the Loot bonus anyway. I'm already just doing EPic-EData-Five in the mean time because getting triple the loot seems to be better than any survivability
Rev its not actually that weak i do my rep grinds with it now and dailies the trick is crewing it standard mitigation crews dont work others do work quite well it hangs in deep space as long as my 14 mil t7 voyager does
@@jamesbell7696. Depends on yer ships. I was takin my Mono and Auger, poppin as many as I could , repeat til I had enough credits for the full pull. Now instead of the auger I'm using muh Valdore and have gotten crit floor to t2. So ,6-7 ships a piece vs the 40's. 🤷♂️
@@jrspaulding8735 what's your crew on Valdore? Mine is tier 2/lvl 10 and I can still only get one kill per trip with an 80% damage exocomp running. My crit floor is 20% now, as well. Before Valdore, my Aug could kill maybe 1 out of 10 tries.
If u start ur ex borg pulls at 38 it will take 183 days to get the rep to pull the nx1 140 days to get distinguished and 43 days pulling dailys and redeeming xindi chests
and here i was thinkin it was going to be a little ship for the littles; y'know - first warp ship with low warp speed and no shields. nopely'd! turns out it's another high level player ship. saladin doesn't need replacing, but variety would be nice.

I have Archer, I'm only hitting Xindi Reptilian hostiles with T'Laan/Cath on the side but while hitting two fewer hostiles with buffs etc. per run in T6 Valdore. He is pulling a lot more Xindi scrap loot which is good. I can't say how well he works in synergy though, or in an NX-01.
If you do the math, the risky chest will give you more UNC credits, but less RARE and EPIC than the safe chest on average. At least for tier 1. Need to plug it all into a spreadsheet to see for other tiers... UNC (5 * .30) + (350 * .68) + (2700 * .02) = 293.5 vs 255 for safe RARE (5 * .30) + (225 * .68) + (1300 * .02) = 180.5 vs 190 for safe EPIC (5 * .30) + (110 * .68) + (650 * .02) = 89.3 vs 95 for safe

You can move your base fast with its ability to deepspace. All ships in dock. Pop out nx. Use peek. Return than relo your base. Yes it franklin in a dress. I called it.
If you use a xocom and the the doretos or titan you get a lot more without messing with the go home gun but I'm sure Doply will turn those off soon 😅js

Their idea of quality over quantity is VERY different than my definition. Me personally this is giving me more reason to not login. Love the ship but hate everything about it. Would have loved it as a ship skin for my Franklin A and turned that into a dual-purpose ship.
i like the f2p path for new speciality ships, but i dont like how long time it takes. in 3 months i wouldnt care much about nx-01 loops because game will have new content and why i should spend my time on old ships when i need new events to do.
Because of the Ex-Borg favours that require the tokens which only the NX-01 refinery provides. Yes, some of those favours/research is limited in use to the NX-01, but a lot can be used elsewhere is well worth it.
Scopley scoplied the grind cycle. You can not kill enough interceptors daily to do a single pull put of the gate. The 30% chance is more like 70% . The idea is great, the implementation is a big failure.
How does Archer figure into the crewing? I saved up and splurged and got him. I have Tucker as well. Archer, Tucker, Cath? or E-Data? I don't have the nx-01, but might.
Am using Archer, Tucker, T'Pal for a whooping 500% loot bonus on regular, reptilian Xindi. It's awesome, ~90k loot from those lvl 51 surveys. As for crewing the NX-01 with them, maybe, MAYBE if you only hunt the interceptors, but definitely not for the battleships. Takes way too long to beat them down with that crew, and every single round you got that send-home gun change. NO WAY

Question for lower level players, I have a level 38 account and can't unlock the Ex-Borg faction. The instructions in the faction store say to complete the "We Are People Too" mission. The problem is this mission does not appear in the holodeck, mission tab or early ex-borg systems. Is there a trick I'm not aware of or is this a bug? I've seen this question in forums so I know I'm not alone. Thanks.
If the mission hasn't appeared, put in a ticket with customer support. If they don't respond in a prompt manner shoot me a message on Facebook/Discord!
@RevDeuce That is true, but then there was the forbidden tech, with the risk of completely losing your resource. This feels like a soft ball attempt at a FT mechanic, l where they give less for the chance at a high reward.
I actually kind of like the Xindhi stuff. I don't like /yet another loop/, but if we are going to get one, this one isn't bad. Hard, yes. But, hard doesn't necessarily = bad. We have to grind lower than we are used to? Okay, maybe the other stuff was actually too easy. We actually, finally, have reds that we can't just plow through. Again, this is not necessarily bad. It's just a matter of resetting expectations. Lots of things in game to complain about, but in my opinion, this isn't one of them.
Lol... yeah. Not thinking I took it to grind out my daily Freebooters. Didn't even get through it on one hull. This thing stinks for anything except acquatics.

Silly it only good for aquatics. Should have at least been usefully against both types. The ability is great and helps me with DS. Nice they made a path for the refit. So for me it’s good and bad.. they could have done e a lot better
I wish I had not brought it, not effecting normal Xindi it doesn’t help the level 40-42 players and it weak as paper against any other ships other than the aquatics (Another £100 one trick pony!) Warp range upgrades are nice but no point as it will buckle in a normal fight
For once, I found one of your videos completely useless. I got the ship, and there isn't a single Xindi ship I can kill with it. I came here to see how we are supposed to start the loop and there was ZERO information on that end. So now I got a ship that is useless because it dies no matter what I put it against. As far as I can figure is completely unuseable, and I regret getting it.
Rev sometimes you miss the forest for the trees any player 6 ops levels higher has alot stronger officers and research far more advanced then yours sometimes when demoing stuff youre very inaccurate most people arent teying to run around merking people that much higher also that cre is for INTERCEPTORS

It is just me or does this seem more and more like they doing gacha game machines. Now using words like jackpot and 30% fails. I noticed this sense the Q started.They use to never have a change of fail. You can put more into to get a chance to get more like the ref does but never have my Res-Pull=fail. And you get nothing. All we now is some kind of slot looking machine for stuff.
For me, it's always been there. heck the Ultra Token Recruit's name in the back end is "ultra gacha". Maybe some of the newer mechanics are just transparent about it.
I hope Scopely adds more grinding soon. I sure can't get enough of it!

NSX01 is basically a prime. Extra xindi refinery. Nothing more, nothing less.

Just got my NX01 today. Using the Leslie crew I took out a 51 aquatic battleship even though it is T1L5. Hoping this thing reduces the Xindi grind.

but you do have to sacrifice getting Favors to upgrade the ship.

EMH Doctor for more loot. Maxing your bonus (health first) also a strong idea.
Paris (mitigation), Tendi (hull boost), Doctor (loot boost), Neelix (burn damage). Those would be my suggestions.

Question for lower level players, I have a level 38 account and can't unlock the Ex-Borg faction. The instructions in the faction store say to complete the "We Are People Too" mission. The problem is this mission does not appear in the holodeck, mission tab or early ex-borg systems. Is there a trick I'm not aware of or is this a bug? I've seen this question in forums so I know I'm not alone. Thanks.
If the mission hasn't appeared, put in a ticket with customer support. If they don't respond in a prompt manner shoot me a message on Facebook/Discord!

That's always been in the game (EX: Recruit Tokens with the extremely small chance of getting a full pull, or how the loot chests work)
@RevDeuce That is true, but then there was the forbidden tech, with the risk of completely losing your resource. This feels like a soft ball attempt at a FT mechanic, l where they give less for the chance at a high reward.
I actually kind of like the Xindhi stuff. I don't like /yet another loop/, but if we are going to get one, this one isn't bad. Hard, yes. But, hard doesn't necessarily = bad.
We have to grind lower than we are used to? Okay, maybe the other stuff was actually too easy. We actually, finally, have reds that we can't just plow through. Again, this is not necessarily bad. It's just a matter of resetting expectations.
Lots of things in game to complain about, but in my opinion, this isn't one of them.
Lol... yeah. Not thinking I took it to grind out my daily Freebooters. Didn't even get through it on one hull. This thing stinks for anything except acquatics.
Yup, it's jsut for xindi aquatics. Now I will say in the 50s its strong enough for some light PVP/OPC hunting/etc. Warp range is nice

Silly it only good for aquatics. Should have at least been usefully against both types. The ability is great and helps me with DS. Nice they made a path for the refit. So for me it’s good and bad.. they could have done e a lot better

I wish I had not brought it, not effecting normal Xindi it doesn’t help the level 40-42 players and it weak as paper against any other ships other than the aquatics (Another £100 one trick pony!) Warp range upgrades are nice but no point as it will buckle in a normal fight
The Xindi Aquatic Battleship math is horrible. The number of times the "30%" chance to use the big gun comes up is ridiculous.
For once, I found one of your videos completely useless. I got the ship, and there isn't a single Xindi ship I can kill with it. I came here to see how we are supposed to start the loop and there was ZERO information on that end. So now I got a ship that is useless because it dies no matter what I put it against. As far as I can figure is completely unuseable, and I regret getting it.
Idk if these are the Xindi ships you are looking for but check out the system Kertoria. I don’t have that ship yet so I’m not sure what you need.

Rev sometimes you miss the forest for the trees any player 6 ops levels higher has alot stronger officers and research far more advanced then yours sometimes when demoing stuff youre very inaccurate most people arent teying to run around merking people that much higher also that cre is for INTERCEPTORS
That crew is for the WEAPONS a ship has. :). It is a VERY weak ship, because of what I described in this video.
@@RevDeuce dude did ypu even READ the patch notes for the ship it tells you how to crew it you want hhp officers NOT mitigation shp officers... it says so in the patch notes

It is just me or does this seem more and more like they doing gacha game machines. Now using words like jackpot and 30% fails. I noticed this sense the Q started.They use to never have a change of fail. You can put more into to get a chance to get more like the ref does but never have my Res-Pull=fail. And you get nothing. All we now is some kind of slot looking machine for stuff.
For me, it's always been there. heck the Ultra Token Recruit's name in the back end is "ultra gacha". Maybe some of the newer mechanics are just transparent about it.
