- Hey @everyone and I hope you're having a fantastic week! This video attempts to break down the basics of what has become one of the more complicated factions in star trek fleet command. The Ex-Borg. While this faction has a long of great favors later on, for most players the focus should be rep grinding, early research, and unlocking the NX-01 through Xindi scraps? Why? Well I'll show you!

He is pretty good about responding if it's a new face or a new/unique question/comment. Even after you tell him he is full of it in regards to a different topic. He has likely removed as many of my posts as he has replied to for that reason.
I have never dropped a nova BP and I hit those 53/54s every day.
Don't forget the field training for the NX-01, lots of good stuff to kick start the loop

I maxed Delay straight away, just finished Escalation today and I'm switching focus to NX01 when I get my rep level tomorrow 👍
I wish I had your luck with RNG. I don't think I have seen anything but the guaranteed on the uncommon and I have less than 200 of the rare and Epic credits. So assuming that I get enough daily to get the ship I'm thinking I'll have it in time for July 4th if nothing goes wrong.

So the TLDR for Xindi Favors is max the delay then get NX-01 followed by, or maybe concurrently if you are lucky, the crit floor maxed.
I do feel like they are forcing us into loops that make Maxing a D'Vor look like building a Realta.
I'm currently working on saving the 3k for the crit floor and now I need to add 10-25k more to get the NX-01 at maybe 100 a day this is a year and I haven't even factored in T2-T5 of the crit floor.
I understand that we are playing a game ran by an investment firm but this is ridiculous. Either fewer BPs or no cool down. And I still have to wait for the rep level because I am not buying a pack for EX-Borg rep or the ship any time soon.

And if they knew the update leveraged a new game engine that had minimum hardware requirements, but said nothing to let players know ahead of time? That’s BAD. I mean like literally EVIL bad. Mustache twirling, skeleton cackling bad.

Great video but you missed the materials favor to reduce the cost of upgrading your buildings, that has great value especially for us in the 40s that are ftp
Get the lvl 1 of favors and research is always going to be the most benefit for cost. because if you look at the % jumps the first is always the highest
How about the Critical Damage Floor Favor? Don't we need this favor to tackle the 40+ Xindi-Reptiles?
The time for research is some pain. But we can get this down with other research. Xhibit would love it.
Hi rev, thanks a lot for your videos, i'm ops 43 siting and grinding rep also catching up r&d, and I cant kill regular lvl 40 xindis, I dont have enough rep with the ex-borgs to get the "delay death ray" research, what crew do you suggest?
That battle ship 30% go home gun hates me. I had 4 tokens. 3 of them enses round 1, attack 5 by the go home gun.
I'm assuming this is all based on having access to at least distinguished ex-borg rep which I'm still working on so guess I'm stuck grinding the 34-35 reptilian xindi till then

Is there a depth into the Ex-Borg faction you should get while still in G3 before progressing to G4?
Does it make sense to focus on critical damage floor if you purchased the prime?
So question: what’s a good crew? I’m lvl49 with a 40 mil Pilum. I currently use the loot crew Picard, data, 5. And no, no crit folks anywhere. I see you have Janeway as captain… so what’s the rest? Thanks in advance!
The Freebooter was a great add but they added it to help the grind then added twice as more grind after it with all the new ships and loops ect...
Where are these spreadsheets located? Can you share the links?
Rev i have a similar sized pilum. You should be able to hit bs, int, and exp in that freebooter system assuming you are using tal crew
I can hit 60s with my 37m cube with tal ez pz
If you have a ent e data at a good tier you can kill more with picard bev ent e data than tal.
Question , can you kill the aquatic hostile with out the nx01?
With Beam delay maxed, and Escalation maxed, I can get 1200 scraps per run (not including chests) with Pike/tlaan/cath on a teir 6 Valdore hitting 40's. Double chest pull daily of scraps is far from unreasonable. Not really a bad grind once you get those two favors maxed

Did they switch how much you need per pull? Cause I'm at lvl 53 and it's 20k to do a single pull for regular xindi
Im lvl 42 but only friendly with xborg i cant get the favors for the xindi till distinguished. Is there a F2P way to get more rep?
I can't kill the lvl 40 Xindi hostiles yet either. I am lvl 40,but I don't have enough uncommon credits to get the 1 favor I need to be able to beat them. On top of that, I'm still doing some catch-up on my research. I barely make a dent in the lvl 40s with my biggest ship.

at ops 40 and you have 100 bucks to spend nx01 or the pickle? which one is more important?
NX-01 is more important for the 40s.
personally, Monaveen. NX-01 is nice and has an ok tree but its kinda slow, The Monaveen's refinery will have you swimming in trit (based on tier and ops). Seemed a fast build to max (T5 then you need ops 51. Let is auto grind all day and/or night is all it needs
@@mmrod68 this what I looking at , I am ops 39, so I can grind out the pickle via alliance store and the up coming event store in a couple months. so best bang for the buck would be grind out the pickle in two months and get the nx01 day one as a ops 40. speed up to the xindi grind where it's benefits my game play from day one.

@@strifenineteen there doesn't seem to be any particular version. So it's not a issue of new versus old . I'm running like Android 10 and Android 8.1 on my tablet. I've heard people with Android 13 having problems.
i think i bougth all the commons out for NOW... and now uncommon.. so that was going to go to the research maxing exborg but BAM Enterprise NX-01 UNCOMMON exborg credits needed to upgrade ship! ol

NX01 crewing please? i'm a new level 40
RNGeezus does NOT like me with that go-home gun right now. Only getting 1 token per day has been rather painful.
I think it will be really good after time. It’s just such a big thing and grind to start with unfortunately

Level 43 here, would like the Allegiance faction daily to count when doing Freebooters.
I have Sweeps for all 3 factions, make the Freebooters count towards the Allegiance daily, IF all faction sweeps are met.
but not all of us can do a nx01 refine each day for me with t1 its every 2 days i can only kill 5 ships per run and a single refine is 50k and we only get 1 token per day oh and that is shooting 40s
I'm a 41 that's found no way to kill the Xindis except those in the starter systems. I've tried several crews. I have a maxed Augur, T8 Enterprise, and T5 ISS jellyfish. All 10M ships. What's the secret? I also have Particle Beam Delay lvl 2.
Getting that particle beam delay maxed is gonna be a big one for you. But, on that augur, try Vemet-Nero-Tlann + tendi/stats for vemet below decks.
@@RevDeuce Once again, you da man! That crew pushed my Augur over the line, so now I can kill exactly 1 Xindi explorer (lvl 40). This will be a tedious event, but at least I can complete the Xindi SMS now. Thanks man.
at ops 39 with t9 ENT I can't touch the 40's gone through so many different crews.
Not surprised, at Ops 41 With everything stacked on for crews I get one with the Enterprise, 3 with the Auger, or 4 with a T5 Monaveen. That is IF I avoid any crits. Otherwise one crit and GO HOME says the 600 Billion cannon.

In this case you will find that "the appropriate crew and ship" also means that the appropriate research, Primes, and favors have to be applied to make it the appropriate ship and while it isn't said the appropriate crew is typically the selected officers at T5.
I'm not entirely sure that an Ops 39 can take out a lvl 40 Xindi.
For example with my ships I have Picard T2, Beverly T4, Tlaan T5 with BLT T2, Tom P T2, Neelix T4, and HammerT2 below deck below deck plus others to max percentage and almost every research you could complete at Ops 39 plus a few more now and I'm only getting three with an Auger If no crits happen.
What about the survey ships? You don't talk about those other than to list them in your spreadsheet/table.

Pike, T'Laan, Cath might work a little better than PMT. Results will vary on officer level.
^ def depends on your level of Cath. PMT is the current go to for many, though.
I wish they would have included reputation increase by hitting Ex-Borg
The amount of effort that the CCs are putting into this new loop is very low. Looking at the amount of ex-borg loot they have on hand and the number of favors they have unlocked shows that this loop is not that great. Maybe once Scopely gives them the ship (which they deserve) things might change for them.
For me, the question is "Is the juice worth the squeeze?" and for me, it is not. I will slowly play this loop and get the ship in 3 to 6 months, and I do not think waiting for that long will hurt my gameplay at all. The few ex-borg favors that are worth it (ship parts and the construction ones) I will be able to get in the 3-6 months of grinding the ship.
Just my thoughts.
Still can't get back into the game. I guess i don't spend enough money on the game which means i'm NOT important to Scopely. Ohh well, wait till i write a review on this.
Im still stuck in scopeless limbo as well. At least they eventually replied and put a 3 day bubble on for me. Might have bn drained before they did but hey, what's a few hundred billion res mean to a ftp 😂😂😂😂

First, thanks as always for sharing your knowledge.
Second, it always takes me forever to understand your spreadsheets. Please try to take an extra few seconds to SHOW where your numbers are. Maybe get a highlighter tool or larger mouse cursor? Watching on a phone does not help as the sheets are microscopic.
Lastly, any crewing suggestions for a non-spender 42. Once they added aquatics to the 34/35 it watered down the two hour grind for a single pull. I wind up accidentally hitting a couple aquatics and my cargo is full of parsteel. I can land one, maybe two 40s. But the repair costs make that a black hole.
I really don’t get how people are getting 100m+ or even 50M+ power on ships. I’m L43 and am fairly deep in to my research trees and just don’t even come close to that kind d of power
The game is getting to be like a second job. The main issue is I'm still not beating the LVL 40's, and not finding the crewing.
Another thing i’m excluded from as a lvl 39. Favors 👍

Its 134 days if you only claim NX blueprints. Ops 40 you get minimum of 130 unc from 1 xindi chest or 390 in 3 days (yes its super long i hope we will have it in end arc shop just like Voyager)
until you get pretty close to maxing the crit damage floor it's kinda useless

Fantastic arc and favors are excellent anyone who doesn't like them is delusional.
Maybe add rep to the freebooters rather than bs returns in xindi scraps and hrs of grinding for just one chest

I'm ops 39 and cannot beat the 40's.
You also failed to mention that as you go up from level 40, the amount of scraps you need for a chest goes up. I was level 41 when I started. It went down to 500 which was appreciated - but when I leveled up to 42, that rose to 800. And I CANNOT TAKE OUT A LEVEL 40, so I am stuck with 2 - 10 scraps for the level 34/35. That means upwards of 80 Hostiles per day! Obviously, Scopely assumes I have nothing better to do with my time!

I absolutely hate Xindi events. D4 is my strongest ship and it sucks. I can't do level 40 Xindi with the ships I have
If they get rid of this 30% go home shot nonsense then the xindi grind becomes kind of good after getting archer on saturday.
This RNG is so bad because you only get one token a day and if you fight a xindi battleship and rng hits you, you lose your day of grinding. dont think thats fair play scopely.

I find the xindi to be a useless addition to the game. Hostiles are tough and have a bad loot payout. And the faction store is the same. Not worth the time or effort. #scopelyfail
Lmfao if you get it to lvl 40 should be able to do this easily. Translates. If you spend thousands of dollars, you can get pennies a day.
