    That was both a very interesting and inspiring video. Interesting to watch the absolute maximum efficiency being made out of a small space. Inspiring to watch individuals in their 20's, 30's, and 50's all working together towards a common goal.

    FYI, when you buy your sheeting, just stain it as a 4 x 8 sheet that way when you get done and you’re ready to finish your final product are you have to do is touch up staining

      Plus it has more time to dry and stop off gassing. All that fresh stain in a tiny space might hurt his breathing. 🥺

    Amazing. Just a couple of tweaks and it would be perfect. If the door was on the other side you could add a drop table and possible a holder for a collapsible sink bucket. Also if the cooler was on a slide that dropped down so you can see in and access easily this would be the next upgrade I would work on.

    What an amazing job you young guys did on this makeover. Now only if you could do a makeover on old age wrinkles on my 83 year old body. You could be a millionaire. Giggle. It would be fun to live in van Spring, Summer and Fall, then Florida for the winter. TheAdirondack Mountains would be my choice. I love ❤️ Pleasant Lake , anywhere where there’s a lake I’ll take. Grew up in upstate New York. I alway wanted to go home. Now stuck in an old age home. New Granny fan now

    Your Jackery unit is going to overheat Stuck inside that box. You can’t block the airflow on its side. It’s going to fail on you a lot sooner installing it inside that box

    • @grizzbuck
      @grizzbuck 4 года назад +7

      I have to agree about the possible overheating concerns. I'd suggest some design of cutouts on each side of the Jackery with louvered venting or screen covers. With as innovative as you two are, I'm sure you'll come up with a great solution.

    • @freedomdove
      @freedomdove 4 года назад +5

    • @theshadow7205

      It’s a sweet build, Just trying to save him a powerless night down the road and possibly having to purchase another unit. That would suck. I just know in my experience anything with with a fan and louvers needs to be vented. Whether it’s a fridge , Power supply, even a hairdryer.

    • @freedomdove

      It really depends on what he's using it for. It won't get very hot at all charging with that panel. And if he's rarely drawing 100w from it for more than 30 seconds, heat won't be an issue.

  • @americanrover3865
    @americanrover3865 4 года назад +7

    As someone living in a Land Rover, I have to ask about plans for ventilation while he's in there sleeping. I've been using "stretchy nylon window sock thingies" (I believe that that is the technical term for them) on the nights that I sleep inside the truck. (travel days) They are an OK fix. But ,since you guys are the thinkers and innovators, I would love to know what your solution will be.
