I'm usually a serial lurker but thought I'd sign in and help folk be aware that as tradesmen your reputation is everything, it's what keeps work coming in and food on the table for your kids and I could see yesterday you saw that at risk mate. It's not something people should call into question unless it's a very serious issue, and not something people should be playing around with in youtube video narratives. Not entirely sure the Days got the ramifications of that or how their vid might have come across, but either way I for one did get the impression they were implying that the issues were due to you, just by calling you the van builder all of a sudden was it for me, even if you'd had words you shouldn't be putting stuff online that looks as if one party have caused the issues, especially ones that seem to have straight forward solutions or completely unrelated to your work eg gas install . Anyway, had to defend yourself and call it out. The van looks mint and you, Rik and Sean should be proud and leave all the rest behind. Looking forward to the Ambo, keep calm and crack on! It took 40 days to design build redesign build redesign again .....many hours lying in bed thinking on whats coming next .....hours of picking up supplys ...messaging people .....arranging people to come and do kitchen... waiting for amazon deliverys .....hours of editing videos for youtube .....working late into the night to get stuff finished .....its literally been blood sweat and at the final tears too! Not one negative comment on this thread ...so much praise that you all deserve .....WELL DONE TO YOU ALL ....👍👍👍

We all knew this has been an extensive build and superb with it. But watching a time lapse of the full build from start to finish it's mental how much time, care and work you guys actually put in when you see it like that. Little things I'd forgotten like you taking the trouble to hand make a light switch to suit. Painting the roof black so it looked nice under the solar panels. All touches that reinforced how much you cared about your work. I think they misunderstood the concept of running a business completely, not only in their recent actions but the way they dithered and changed things on your time. If they'd been charged by the hour for a build I bet they wouldn't have been so indecisive and ungrateful 🤔 Thanks for the condensed version of everything we've watched over the weeks, it brings the message home even more.
I was seriously impressed with how quickly you completed this build before watching this....now I'm in awe! No corners were cut as far as I could see, that's a straight up master build. You're a maestro. I remember building my first van...that was corner cut central! Which is probably why I ripped it out and redid it within a year. You did a massive, first class job on that big van so pat yourself on the back - I'd do it for you but a live about 10,000 miles away. And don't take any shite from anyone.

Just came home from work to watch this video I am a night nurse working on ITU and during all those terrible times during covid it was when I discovered van lifers on RUclips. Their channel's theme is to document problems along with the good stuff & that's exactly what they did. Their viewers appreciate the honesty. They also documented that there were less faults than a comparable big-name build for his Mum (3 vs 30-odd) & that the faults weren't in LtT's team's work. 1. gas - fitted but not commissioned by LtT, as agreed 2. door - fitted but not specified by LtT, fault was pointed out by LtT 3. heater - was working but they need frequent reboots.

Brilliant job, if I was in the market for a van build I’d be straight on the blower. I was not impressed by the shower scene though, not for the reason of some “other!” people, I thought it was hilarious the first time I saw it but after my wife had rewound it a dozen times and then said “why don’t you get some tattoos?” I went right off it 😡. So, I've just started in a company that do VW T6 conversions with a team of 6, including a CNC machine and bought in parts, nothing majorly custom. It takes work to get these kitted out at one per week and costs a fair amount of coin once done. The fact you've done that in such a tight time frame and that level is astonishing also while adding in the additional time it takes to troll/collect supplies (folk never take into account) - blows my mind. Folk in todays age do not appreciate the process nor do they value one's work. I whole heartedly believe you should never doubt your abilities. Always doubt suppliers quality control though! I'm nae sure if this comment will reach you Liam but you done nothing wrong. Please continue with your flawless work. Although this experience has had immediate negative effects the long term will have nothing but positive changes from it. This Video is the start of. It clearly shows your passion, commitment and the length's you are willing to pour into these projects. Much love big man, keep smashing it 🙌 ♥️

It’s a bit contradictory by the way to ask me to justify my comment for all to read then tell me to ‘stop stirring the pot’ . I was not impressed by the shower scene though, not for the reason of some “other!” people, I thought it was hilarious the first time I saw it but after my wife had rewound it a dozen times and then said “why don’t you get some tattoos?” I went right off it 😡.

So, I've just started in a company that do VW T6 conversions with a team of 6, including a CNC machine and bought in parts, nothing majorly custom. It takes work to get these kitted out at one per week and costs a fair amount of coin once done.
The fact you've done that in such a tight time frame and that level is astonishing also while adding in the additional time it takes to troll/collect supplies (folk never take into account) - blows my mind.
Folk in todays age do not appreciate the process nor do they value one's work.
I whole heartedly believe you should never doubt your abilities. Always doubt suppliers quality control though!
I'm nae sure if this comment will reach you Liam but you done nothing wrong. Please continue with your flawless work. Although this experience has had immediate negative effects the long term will have nothing but positive changes from it. This Video is the start of. It clearly shows your passion, commitment and the length's you are willing to pour into these projects.

It’s a bit contradictory by the way to ask me to justify my comment for all to read then tell me to ‘stop stirring the pot’ .
