I had first heard this song at my Great Grandfather's Funeral back in April of this year. It nailed me straight in the heart and brought pretty much everyone in the room to tears. For me it reminded me of my Papaw, who was my Great Grandfathers son. He passed away before his dad after a nasty battle with skin cancer, and I was by his side through all of it. Something about this song just brings out all the good memories that cause so much pain to remember. Even though he will have been gone for 3 years this December, it still feels like I hugged him just yesterday. I just listened to this song again now because my Fiance's Grandpa just recently passed away, and the funeral was yesterday June 20th. This song will forever be a tearjerker.
