I've had a very busy couple of months juggling between work and graduate school and I'm really happy to be able to FINALLY have a window to catch up on your cooking videos. I would love to make this dish. It looks easy to prepare. Would make a great lunch box meal.
P.S. - a cook book is such a brilliant idea. 🤩 You've made dishes from several countries already and so far you've made cooking them very easy to follow. Compiling them into a cookbook would be great. I did save a lot of your RUclips videos but having a tangible copy would be pretty awesome! Cheers 🥂

If you add calamansi (or lemon) to the sauce, you basically made a filipino dish called Bistek. Can be made with thinly sliced pork or beef.
Yes, if you omit the sake, mirin and ginger and add lemon instead then that’s the Filipino bistek (beef) or pork steak.
