I love Ebunuebunu! We used to eat it sooo much growing up! My dad's favorite soup🥰
It's so good! We used to as well. With some Kako or Ewurafua representing. 👌🏾😎😍😍
I heard about this soup for the first time from Hey Steve question prize show. I saw your video and the title and I decided to open because of that show🤩🤩 looks delicious. I am a Nigerian, thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for the love always, my dear KK fam. I’m seeing a lot of questions about the kontomire (cocoyam leaves). I got mine at an Asian supermarket called Lee Lee International Supermarket but you can also use spinach, which is what I normally use.
@Nuella Talks 🤣🤣🤣
Hello..thanks for sharing...please did you cook the spinach?
This soup looks so good I wish I was at your home, I'd love to try it. I have to find a Ghanaian restaurant that serves this soup, Continue to bring us the tastes of your heritage. Thanks for sharing. May GOD bless you and your Family!!!!

I will try this by using spinach since kontomire is hard to come by in my locality. Hope it will serve the same purpose. Thanks for your creativity and diversity in our Ghanain diet. You are always awakining our appetite. Kudos.

Thanks so much ❤️, my husband's favorite so am going to surprise him. ❤❤❤
Waw, it's so good to see the different spins on callaloo leaves (taro leaves.) In the Caribbean we would use those leaves to make a thicker soup called callaloo with a similar cooking process. Now I want to try it this way to see how it taste. I'm sure it's delicious
Wow! And I will be excited to try callaloo. It sounds delicious.
Sister Kwankyewaa, callaloo is actually what we call #Aleefu or Aleefoor in Ghana. There’s a historic reason why the #Callaloo ended up in the Caribbean…😊
Amazing 😋
Am trying this this coming weekend. Hope I get it right and that my husband likes it
This food is so mouthwatering. Just want to eat it
Thank you so much💕

You just woke up my appetite like…Okay, I’m definitely going to make this weekend but I always use spinach since that’s the only thing I have access to 😭. It soles out great actually, this is our dinner on a nice Sunday for sure. Our son actually loves spinach soup so yep, let’s do this 😂. Thank you for always sharing great meals. You are the best 😍
Anas, this is so like you! Asanteni abaayewa mapa 🥰🥰🥰. Yes I normally use spinach too. Kontomire is always available in that Asian market but it is a bit fat from me so mostly I just use spinach. Kisses to our adorable Kwame 😘😘
@@KwankyewaasKitchen ha ha. Oh really about the kontomire at the Asian market? Omg, I have Asian market right by me. That’s where I get my fresh mackerel actually. But what’s the name of kontomire at the Asian market? Im sure I can spot it when I see it but just incase I buy the wrong thing lol. Do you happen to know the name?
@@ChristianAndAnastasia it’s called Taro leaf in the Asian market. :)

@@KwankyewaasKitchen 😃y3 daase
So that means, it’s the spinach that makes it greener after cooking?
I need this soup oo
Waaow
Hello ms. Kwaakyewaa your kontomere soup is Looking yummy great job. I have a question for you, I see you're using Ghana tontomere can you use spinach since we can't get the Ghana one
Yes please Linda, you can use spinach. I use that a lot of the time and it gives same result. ❤️
Delicious/nutritious. 👌
Appearance can be deceptive when it comes to this one. 😆
Ver true but not with this particular soup!😎😎
@@KwankyewaasKitchen The truth is, anyone who does not know anything about ebunuebunu soup (not just your own), may be deceived to think it's some kind of 'bitter concoction' because of its appearance.
However, not only is ebubuebunu soup (in general) delicious but very nutritious esp if the kontomire (cocoyam leaves) is cooked the right way to avoid lost of nutrients.
I hope you understand what I mean/meant.
Yummy
