Race 1 of the weekend. Saturday's flash flood pushed our race to Sunday morning. Qualified P7 and finished P6. Went out on old A7s and had a ton of fun. Tires were overheated before the halfway mark so it was a challenge to manage them to the end of the race.
Highlights:
0:18 Yellow E36 scrapes down my driver side. Goodbye to trim, canard, splitter, and alignment, Great battle with Vinh for the next two laps.
2:28 Vinh spins in T5
4:50 Catch up to Doug and Hans
17:10 Fail at managing traffic through the octopus and Dan gets me into T1. From there its a struggle on hot tires til the end.

At 3100# shouldn't you be able to put down way more power than 206 and stay in GTS2 rules? Like, damn near 225-230?
