    thats always been a problem with tapes , you throw them in the mixer at night and they jam really frustrating ! did you set the blockwork out with the new tape ? hence all those cuts

      😂😂😂😂😂😂 made me chuckle that 😀 it was a bad Saturday mate, blockbond was least of our trouble 😂

    Bought one of these tapes after watching your video…it got grit and sand in it from being in my pocket and stopped working after a week and a half….complete shite 😂

      I walk round with my tape in my pocket everyday checking stuff when on site and mine still works like a dream despite being in the mixer

    If you use a tape in the wet it. I always pull it out of the full clean it off and put wd40 on it to displace any water in it.. never had a problem after it... but i don't throw them into the mixer

    It's not really a fair comparison. You need to chuck in a brand new Stanley tape and work on it the same as you did with the other 1. my guess, it would be the same outcome that Stanley tape looked well used already
    Besides all the cuts in the blockwork, tidy job on the extension, 👍

    • @Tone_Team
      @Tone_Team  8 месяцев назад +1

      Fair point, although I don’t think a normal tape would stand the test! While the Stanley has been used it was still a good tape and I wasn’t in a rush to replace it
      Don’t ask on the Blockwork mate, I stuck cut under the window in the end 😂

      So you go through a tape a week? Mine is still perfectly fine after being in a mixer

    I oil my tapes. They would last years if I didn’t lose them 😂

    Doubtful any tape will make it to the end of the job given how wide the cavity is getting 😂
