I think it should be the other way round. I think it is far easier to transition from superstructure to substructure than visa versa. Not seen many footings brickies stick at supers if they only learn in the footings.
You need to learn how to lay straight bricks on top of straight bricks before you can lay straight bricks on top of snakey concrete. Try getting a 50mm hump out of a wall in 3 courses of blockwork without a fair bit of experience
@@Tone_Team Thanks Andy for your comment, always used flettons in footings 30 35 years ago in footings when young, helped with setting out and speed and made sure bond correct and brickwork level, then progress to superstructure.
Hi guys, I’m just in the process of trying to get on tender lists at the minute based in Blackpool. I’ve rang the big house builders and been given a few email addresses which I’ve emailed and will be sending a follow up this week. Is this the general way to get onto tender lists? Would it be possible to contact you to talk direct would be happy to pay for your time and advice. Cheers Mat
Hi Mar There are a few different options you can try and I have a few tactics I use to get new business. I offer 1 to 1 calls on my shopify store 👍🏻 ruclips.net/user/productO4599542578582635167
As always professionalism reigns through,to many piss head bosses around all they give a fuck about is how many tattoos they got and drinking and snorting, most don’t give 2 fucks how much a lad learns.
Agreed, but we do have them and we let them progress to our price work gangs, they love em as they get after it, graft all day and want to lay bricks 🧱 👍🏻
Top video again mate biggest problem is that u take on someone on the books on monday they expext to be paid friday doesn't work like well said mate 🧱👌
It key apprentices don’t rush take time while life ahead to pick up speed and find that quality
Fantastic business you have second to none. Got to be Terry. On your house unless yourself and dad is building it.
Terry is going to build it mate, I’m to rough 😂😂

Easier to grips with trowel with footings when you're younger with constantly laying bricks

No way to grow a business that 🤯 our apprentices are the future 🤝
You must've had some right turnips come and go. Who doesn't understand week in hand?
Straight up mate, last few weeks had a little flurry! It’s actually quite common 🤯 look at the poll on my Community tab
I explain it as: paid every week, 1 week in arrears.
Then I explain what the word 'arrears' means 😂😂
