Even then, I don’t think children would care for this.
This has to be Disneys biggest mistake in terms of animation. It just makes me question why didn’t they let blue sky make it before they closed blue sky.
I can't believe people thought we needed a sixth Ice Age movie, and it managed to be worse than Collision Course. It was really lame, and one thing I hated is how Ellie said it was all Manny's fault Crash and Eddie went missing after she wished they were less possum and more mammoth.
This is not a sixth Ice Age movie idiot. It's a Buck spin-off film 😂
One thing that I was happy about when Blue Sky got shut down was that it at least meant no more Ice Age stuff. Then what does Disney do? Dig up Blue Sky out of its grave and say "hey, we're making another Ice Age sequel. Hope you're cool with that" and then laughing at their corpse.
I think Disney was respecting and disrespecting Ice Age at the same time like for example:
Respect: The cave scene where they recap the other movies and they actually mentioned the humans and Roshan for the first in years and having an extended version of Ellie's past when she got adopted by the possums and bringing back the Dodo Birds and bringing back Momma Rex
Desrespect: Putting the Disney logo on it and no Scrat
I agree 100%! This was the most boring Ice Age on earth!

Not to mention that unlike the previous ice age films (Including the holiday specials from A mammoth Christmas in 2011 and The Great Egg-scapade in 2016) that were better animated by not only blue sky studios but also Reel FX animation studios and Arc Productions, This one was poorly animated by Bardel Entertainment.
As a fan of the Ice Age film this movie was an insult to Ice Age and blue sky Studio . Disney should be ashamed of themself for trying to milk a franchise from the studio they killed .
Awesome review Jam, this maybe the worst animated movie I've ever seen since The Emoji Movie and I agree it's worse than even Collison Course. Not having Scrat was just an insult!
I agree that Scrat was sorely missed, and I am glad I dodged a bullet by skipping this one.
The description for this movie on Disney+ literally says
*”Thrill-seeking brothers Crash and Eddie join pal Buck Wild to take on dinosaurs of the Lost World.”*
That is the most basic plot line I’ve ever read.
Ice Age is now a worse Land Before Time.
I bet Blue Sky's last project: Ice Age: Scrat Tails will be way much better than The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild, because this spin-off short series of Ice Age franchise makes way more funniest and better than ever if I have to be honest.

This is one of Disney's biggest Mistakes,all they did when they got the Right to Fox is killed off Blue Sky Studios to eliminate competition and steal the Work and Dance on their Graves while milking it like a Cash Cow,this Movie is awful and terrible that it retcon some important Events and Characters that it's a Spit on a 20 Year Old company's Legacy and while the new Actors aren't Half Bad,it doesn't save this Movie,the worst Part is they are going to keep going with the Ice Age and Rio Franchise which that's Closing the Line.
Competition? They literally own the company!
When you realize the animation for this movie is actually worse than the very first movie from 2002

Between this and Fairly OddParents Fairly Odder, 2022 is on a roll with its unnecessary spinoffs of animated franchises
5:18-5:36 I would have gone with the episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender where the cast sees a play based on their lives, but that works too.

Remember when people were shaming Nickelodeon for making SpongeBob spin-offs after the creator died? Yeah, that should’ve gone to Disney for shutting down Blue Sky and using their properties anyways.
I agree The Animation is probably the most disappointing part, it literally looks like one of the Alpha and Omega Sequels, at least 4 & 5 had good animation. And also what is wrong with these movies!!! Whenever a romance would be a good addition they don’t add it but they give Sid and Diego flat, boring and forced romances.
Personally I still enjoyed this movie for what it was. Yes the animation is very subpar and the villain was extremely weak but I thought it was cool to give focus to Eddie and crash recurring characters. I’m glad Simon pegg came back to voice buck wild. Especially after his weird disappearance in the 4th movie continental drift. I just found the absence of peach and other recurring characters from past movies so strange. That was pure lazy in my eyes! The biggest sin of this movie!
So.. I guess Shira left Diego after he lost his looks and voice lmao

Personally I think your ideas for the movie is great and the thing is that this was originally going to be a tv show and your suit perfectly for a show

This ice age is boring and indeed it’s worse than the previous installment from 2016, not to mention that unlike the previous ice age films and the holiday specials A mammoth christmas in 2011 and The great egg-scapade in 2016) that were better animated by not only the late blue sky studios but also Reel FX animation studios and the Toronto-based cgi studio Arc productions, this one was poorly animated by the Vancouver-based studio Bardel Entertainment (Who did the better animation Disney plus’s other film the 2021 reboot of Diary of a Wimpy kid and Netflix’s The Dragon Prince).

Blue Sky had a legacy?
Yes (Especially before the house of mouse shut it down, blue sky studios has been around since 1987).
I like the premise behind collision course. Being set in outer space was awesome!
I recently watched monkeybone. Weird but fun movie haha
I think it's stupid that Disney couldn't even use the 20th century Studios intro for this film they instead use their own intro even though I see is a fox film and not a Disney film
I love all Ice age but not this one

I watched the first 5 five film
I haven't seen this film, and I show no interest. I'm satisfied enough with the first three.
I thought IA5 was the final nail in the coffin but it just came back. At the time IA1 was a good movie yet looks rough but blue sky improved and made some seriously good movies.
I just wish they dropped IA very early. FFS the main cast of IA are super uninteresting. Only Buck was the enjoyable character even in the shittiest movies he made them tolerable at best.
