I re-registered as Independent when he was nominated the first time because after watching him on TV and reading about his abysmal record of business failures it became obvious he was an incompetent grifter. It was only later I realized how psychotic he is. What the psychologists call a "toxic narcissist". Same mental illness that has plagued dictators since humans first organized tribes.
Some of us saw trump coming even back during the Nixon days. From the "southern strategy" and Watergate, to Reagan's welfare queens and Iran-Contra, to "Willie Horton", toBush's "1,000 points of light and the Iraqi genocide, etc., the veneer of humanity was gradually peeled away from the true motives of the GOP, and trump is just the latest reveal, he has thrown away the "coded dog-whistles" and other masks, to reveal what we knew as the true nature of the GOP world view.

The Super PACs and the RNC were paying for his lawyers fees. Head RNC chair, Ronnie McDaniel told tRump that they will no longer cover his fees. I'm pretty sure she realized that after tRump losing two civil cases that maybe he wasn't innocent at all. He told her to resign and she did. The RNC had only $8M left. He gave Lara tRump a seat and she said that all RNC donations will go towards tRump. What about the Republicans running for re-election? They won't be getting any campaign funds from the RNC. Selfish!
Yeah, we haven't heard much about that $8 million he received while in office as detailed in a congressional oversight report. A figure that would likely have been much higher had investigators not been prevented from getting full access to information.
