Our Day in Liverpool | Baltic Market | First Visit to the Cavern Club

- Hi everyone,
In this week's Northern Escapade we visit the city of #liverpool. After a short train journey we see the Ken Dodd statue and make our way towards Albert Docks. We saw the upside down and spinning houses on the way which were pretty novel! We took some shelter from the wind inside a pub on the docks called The Pumphouse before carring on our exploration. We saw a band performing for the D Day 80th anniversary and later saw a marching band.
We were going to go to The Tate but it had moved location and when we did find it the queue was too long for our flying visit so we hope to go next time we are in Liverpool. We did enjoy walking round the docks and seeing #thebeatles statue. We started to walk towards the Baltic Triangle as we were going to eat at the Baltic Market, on the way we stopped at the Baltic Fleet and had a 'welcome to paradise' beer which I chose for the name.
When we arrived at the Baltic Market we were spoilt for choice with so many options but we both decided on The Nashville Cluck and it was incredible! We hadn't eaten all day so this was an absolute treat! After a little walk around Cains Brewery Village we make our way to the Cavern Club. We weren't too sure what to expect apart from an homage to The Beatles. There was so much memorabilia from so many bands who had played the #cavernclub not just The Beatles so that was great to see. There were also two rooms of live music which was brilliant to see! We spent a lot of time in here and really glad we visited for the first time.

I would love to visit Liverpool someday! Love the hair Laura, it looks so beautiful on you!! Love the marching bands. That sea sure does look rocky! Nice food court area and so many places I would love to try. That chicken sandwich looks incredible. LOVE the yellow submarine haha. LOL So many Beatle references there haha wow. Definitely Beatles territory. Looks like such a cool place! Love the club area. Thanks for bringing us along :)

I have only ever been to the docks area of Liverpool which is such a crime haha.

Great vlog! Laura your new hair color looks really good. I like both the green and the blue. Liverpool looks like a place I would spend A LOT of time in. The docks look cool and remind of the inner harbor back home in Baltimore, Maryland. The Baltic Market has a lot of good options. I would’ve opted for the Nashville Cluck too. The sandwiches look delicious!! I love the Beatles so I would enjoy Cavern Club. It was cool to see all the memorabilia from all the artists. Majority of them I recognized other than 2-3. There was a ton to do and lots of history especially around The Beatles. Hey Jude being sang by everybody was a highlight!
