- Power wiring, switches, lights are fun to do. I ordered 2-24 black and red wiring and 2 circuit terminal blocks. I plan on using MTH's 24 port power distrubution bus and run the wires to 24 locations on the layout. Then I can easily wire in buildings and accessories by plugging into terminal blocks on top. Hurry up Amazon!
I like this, very basic tracking, 3 main lines and then you added enough side tracks and other buildings to have it look neat.
Funny thought and a real one: Your three cars out there are thinking what did we do that we got kicked out of the garage?
Also be aware if your cars are parked on any kind of a hill, be sure the parking gear works as well as the parking brake and use it. I also think in many areas your house insurance will go down if you don't have car parked in the garage, check with your agent.
So friggin cool! 👍
Wow! That is impressive! I don’t know if I would ever build a layout this good. Great job and that track plan is awesome!
Wow. Your layout and trains look awesome. Thanks for sharing. Armando 👍🙂
Wow what a superb layout! Fantastic. I wish I could do more with my layout.
Definitely new subscriber here!
Thank you Dennis!
The pink styrene insulation boards they use on houses. 1\2 4x8 Sheet. Take a sharp pencil and a ruler and your mark off every quarter inch. Then make a brick pattern with the end of the pencil drawing of a cross the styrene at a 45 degree. After you get that done then you want to rough the surface up to make it look like Stone.painted with latex gray and black. It makes great retaining walls any lengths you desire.
Great layout and track plan, especially the yard area. Slow trains down a little, more realistic.
Way cool..... something about that sound......it's mesmerizing
Love the design. Good on yah. 👍😁
Great layout. Thanks for sharing. I’ve subbed
Thank you
Awesome ♐
Hi David. I never had a track plan! It started small and it grew from there. In fact I am planning on heighten the upper level and loop it. I did however researched online track plans on google. There so much resources and info out there. Hope this helps and good luck!
May I ask what state you're in? Curious as to how the layout works in your garage/climate.
Portland Oregon.
This is awesome!!
Looks great, I've subbed
that green cross walk over were did you get it ? thanks
cool stet up thank you...
Got a question for you sir, I noticed in one of the other videos, you did the elevated line using clamps on your track, did you glue your track in place on the overhead line? You have a nice railroad .paused at fifty three seconds, iam going to finish the video.
What i have seen so far, you do some good work. I like for you to build me one
I used the clamps to temporarily hold down my track while Add more track. Once I get it positioned I used tiny screws to hold down the track.
Can I get a track plan I love it and am in the process of getting a good plan of all the fastrack pices I need for a 16x14’ layout I would pay $
Thanks
Who makes that big passenger station on your layout
Rail King by MTH.
awesome...
Fundamentals?
Can multiple locomotives run on the same line?
Yes. There are several ways. The popular one is called latching. It requires a cpu driven remote control as an accessory item from the manufactures provided for their trains. There are other methods but yes you can.
What are your radius’? Looks like several.
036 & 048s
Trains running way too fast as so many O gauge folks seem to think is appropriate
I had couple of others saying that too! I’ll work on that. Thank you.
Can you at least hold a shot???????????????????????????
That is just about as far from fundamentals as you can get.
