LG really was ahead of it's time

Too ahead in terms of hardware but not marketing. They're the first to start so many things in smartphone tech such as IR laser autofocus cameras, self healing tech, long displays (18:9) with round edges, use of AI for efficient processors, modular smartphone, and their phones are actually very sturdy. You can just find a heavily scratched LG that's still working smoothly. Their batteries are even quite something that their phones can last the whole day even with smaller batteries than their competition.

@@vitorsalles5919 LG afterall as I can recall is the brand who started IR focus for cameras, self healing tech, AI on processors, and even the long 18:9 display. Second to them might be huawei but USA is so threatened by huawei's economic dominance that they started banning not just their phones but their other techs as well.

Switching from Apple to the S24 Ultra I finally understand just how drastically better this phone is to an iPhone. It really isn't even close. This is coming from a long time iphone user. It's almost like going from an Xbox to PC.
Just tried it on my OnePlus 6.. and the first impression is really good. It genuinely seems like a useful feature

I have an iPhone 14 pro max. It’s really not that big of a few people make it seem. Also the island is very noticeable when your playing games. Kinda annoying honestly

@@AIejandroide nothing to do with Android (Software), it’s to do with the phone design and the screen coverage (hardware) ; it’s not possible to have the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 13 because of the notch, which doesn’t have usable pixels around the camera, where as, on models of phone which don’t have a notch like the Pixel 7, you can make use of the usable pixels around the camera to create the island.
The LG v10 was a dream phone for me.. just couldn’t afford one

@Kaiserreich Mapping You might need to check if all the permissions r granted that is needed for the app to work.
my first smartphone has an lg. i wish they come back with phones again. i would gladly buy one.
The problem with this and many other launchers, is they are usually quite the bug terrarium and consume lots of battery.

No the problem is actually not about the quality but it's about the people like you that keep saying that even though it's not true. I can give you the prime example. Apple is gonna start including space zoom which is 100x zoom in the iphone 15 ultra, yes you read that right Apple is copying samsung their name and special camera feature but I promise you people are gonna say apple did it better but Samsung had years of time to become better than apple so there's no way apple wins at that.

LG is really innovative some of their smartphones like v60 thinkq, g5, wing and much more were something different.

Apple has "borrowed" quite a few stuff from LG and people think it's innovation...well, it is from LG. I still have a G7 plus and use it as a wi-fi extender mostly (yep, it has that and works great), but it's still so good and you could use it without feeling absolete even today. Sad thing LG wasn't able to capitalise their brilliance on the market. Now we're stuck with these dull brands like Apple and Samsung unfortunately. That's the reason I went for Honor (Huawei undercover) lately and they're so ahead of those two in most departments.

@@sanambirk9819i jyst used it on my android and its no where near as smooth as apple. Maybe in like a year or so? But its still software compared to apples being hardware based(the chip has special processors for dynamic island)

The thing is that it’s not a system based feature. It’s a 3rd party app that means it consumes RAM it consumes cpu processing just to run = lag
