Make no mistake, it won't be long until Sterling and Saka are our starting wide forwards, and I can't wait.

Loved the content . Well worth having consultants to guide young player on all pitfalls …financial , ethical, behavioural.

We’ll figure it out if MØ ever goes down. I’m not sure I see Nwaneri as injury cover just yet - I think his role will be more preventative this year, coming on in the last 15-20 to lighten the load - but there’s other options there….
We could drop Havertz back if Jesus is available to play CF…
Or we could even try it the other way round - keep Havertz at CF and play Jesus as an 8/10?
We have sufficient wide options to slide Saka across for a few games if we need to.
We could put Trossard or Sterling there (although I don’t really love that idea).
Or there’s Zinchenko, who always gets forgotten about whenever this comes up.
None of these options are quite MØ, but your backups are rarely as good as your starters so that’s to be expected. Let’s not forget there’s also the option of slightly tweaking the formation - if none of these players are an exact fit for the role then we can always change the role slightly to fit the player. Maybe go with a double-pivot and a 10 instead of two 8s, or full 442? Remember, we’re not talking ideal here - we’re talking options to adapt for a (hopefully) short period.

PSR hit a bunch of clubs so all the ridiculous transfer fees went out the window. Osihmen AND Toney were wildly overpriced and had massive wage demands. Thats why neither is playing in a top 3 league right now.
Toney apparently rubbed the arsenal admin the wrong way but no one else was really in for him.

I think Martinelli hasn’t been on form because of the constant tinkering with the left flank, the loss of Xhaka who was a big component of Martinelli’s success, and a dip in confidence. He’s final decision hasn’t been good but that is always something that can be improved when confidence is high.
Shame about the Merino injury because I think he could be a great help to get Martinelli back on track.

That would be my exact answer if you asked me but you know what I think he just needs to make it happen if he’s good enough. When he first came he insisting the ball crossed on to his head and then bang it in.
When saka was playing lb for a terrible team he was amazing

Not just that. The removal of Jesus as our number 9 has ruined him. People don't remember how the movement of Jesus helped to bring the best out of Nelli

Joao Neves moved to PSG this window. Excellent midfielder. Sold for 70m that shouldn’t b out of our reach imo.

I can’t make out what’s gone on with the spending this window. On the one hand us, City and Liverpool all seemed incredibly cautious and reserved, which makes me think there’s some kind of regulation lurking there somewhere that we’re all prepping for. But then I also get the feeling we would have happily dropped 50m each on Sesko and Williams if we could have? Perhaps those two would always have required a couple of big departures to balance things, though?

Saka hype is nonsense! He makes so many poor moves for every celebrated move.
