let’s see in 12 months time, Saka continues to deliver, if Palmer carries on then it’s a discussion but at this point hard to back the kid with only one season of top flight football ngl
Saka has been doing this 😂😂😂 you mans are hilarious. Saka is only 8 months older and has MULTIPLE top seasons. Not just one that was stat padded with 10 penalties.
@@sanusikabir2883 end of this season we will talk Saka created or scored every arsenal goal so far this season Palmer could be the next michu but tbf he is the real deal but let’s see
You do no passing a ball 1 yard to a player who scores counts as an assist. This is why assists and ‘ga’ mean fuck all. Just a tool for people who no fuck all about football to use
One thing Palmer has over almost any one else is that he always comes clutch. If there's big game against City, United or a Euro Final, he always finds a way to turn up. I think that's the one thing that separates him and Saka right now, but it's close.
No argument, it's Palmer. 1. Plamer had the same G/A as Saka in the euros whilst playing 25% of the minutes. 2. Palmer has not 1, but 2 pl hattricks. Saka has none. 3. Palmer had to move cities, different coach, different team, new ownership and still did better than Saka has ever done. 4. Palmer did not miss a single penalty last season - Including a Euros KO shootout (so did Saka), 2 against Onana, last minute against Ederson to save a point in the rain, chipped Muric etc. 5. Palmer plays with 'bums', according to most, imagine if he had a better ST - people forget Jackson was new, young and under pressure. 6. Saka's been in the Arsenal squad since 2018 and has won an FA cup and a community shield. 7. Maybe you prefer the eye test, Palmer always looks to create and even when he doesn't get G/A, he moves the needle every time. Look how he got the winner against Man U last season. 8. Palmer's already on 5 G/A this season... and we've played City already. Saka dont sniff this guy.
1. Palmer has complete freedom on the pitch as he isn't targeted by multiple defenders - Saka is almost ALWAYS doubled up on. He's kicked, bruised and tackled by players and often doesn't get decisions go his way. With all of this, Saka still manages to make a massive impact, get big (and good) goals in big games (Bayern, United, Liverpool, Spurs away), and always be one of Arsenal's key men. Palmer is quality, but he isn't under the same pressure that Saka is to perform. 2. He may of had two hat tricks last season, but don't forget that one of them was two penalties and a deflected goal. Still a hat trick nonetheless, but it's a good example of stats skewing something. 3. What Saka offers defensively is absolutely unrivalled compared to most other wingers in the world. Both Southgate and Arteta take full advantage of him coming through as a full back, you always see him tracking back and helping out on defensive sides, putting up both performances and numbers that are comparable to the best full backs in the PL. I don't see Palmer doing anything quite like that. 4. Just because Saka doesn't have a goal or assist doesn't mean he wasn't involved in a goal - he's almost always involved somewhere in the build-up, but they don't get noticed as they don't contribute to his numbers directly. 5. Palmer did... absolutely nothing against City, bringing that game up means very little. Plus, Saka already has a goal and 3 (should be 4) assists in his three games played this season, including two away at Villa Park, a very tough place to go. 5. Did I mention that he was injured for most of last season?? He wasn't limping for nothing. He had been carrying something since the start of the season, that's why he missed the home City game. It's also why he missed the March international break. All that while starting almost every single game and constantly being targeted, it shows how much he goes through and still provides so much to both Arsenal and England. 6. The Euros is another skewed example if you watched the games - both Saka and Palmer's goals had a big impact, with them both being equalisers in the knockout stages, but Saka was ALWAYS farther back and had Bellingham, Kane and Foden in and around his best positions, blocking his paths. Palmer had the same issues, and aside from that goal, he didn't really do much either. Saka was also England's top scorer in Qatar, just something to add, as well as the best English player against France. 7. Palmer was barely involved in any of the trophies he's won, and those trophies absolutely will come for Saka. I expect them to come for Palmer too, but not at Chelsea. Palmer is a brilliant player, but he's only been doing it for one year. I wanna see him in the Champions League, tearing it up away at a rival's ground, performing against a tough side who have two men on him at all times. Saka has been doing this for years. He's done it home and away against United, he scores for fun against Liverpool, he has some massive goals against Spurs too, including a fantastic one away to them last season. He's versatile, potent, can step up and play through pain. It feels disrespectful and very reactionary to put Palmer above him after one good season. He absolutely doesn't "clear."
So your eyes say palmer is world class in one season than saka has done for five seasons a person who has been good for England in three tournaments okay the good thing is the new manager loves him a lot more than saka am sure he is going to follow your narrative wait and see if he will be impactful for your country as saka has been if he does that then you can have that argument

Whoever did these first matchups deserves to get fired man because why the fuck would you put defenders against attackers in the first round goes beyond me
I totally get what you're saying but given the format they would eventually have to debate a choice between players in different positions. They don't have a young defender, midfielder or attacker of the year award. It's young player of the year, so when you consider who is more important in their respected teams the difference in position becomes less important than say the players individual ability.

What do you mean that Palmer can't do that in a well structured team? He played for Man city who are considered the best team in the world!! @seeme8080
@@Victor-kb4hx and he didn’t stand out. This exactly what I’m talking about. If he stood out like he’s doing at Chelsea in Man City with the likes of the other world class players, he wouldn’t have gone to Chelsea; a lot more teams would’ve been in for him. He is a very good player standing out in a team that finished 6th.
@@seeme8080 he didn't stand out because Pep didn't give him a chance. PERIOD!!
Why does every fan base in the world know palmers better 😂 the only ones who won’t say it is assna fans 😂 then they talk about bias 🤦♂️
Every fan base??
People with actual football knowledge know saka is better.
Literally.
Lol, Mbappe is better than Messi since he had a better season last season.
You can't compare 1 season with 4 seasons.😅
If we remove penalties, palmer only has 2 more goals & assist than saka.
But created more chances, has more progressive carries & won more duels.
He was also extremely impressive in the UCL.
Saka is so clear, it's not funny.
Also they play different positions.
@@jimohabdulqudus4283 sound like your coping to me 🤷♂️ 🤣 also what u said about the stats is a complete lie 🤣 Saka 16 goals 9 assists with 6 pens palmer 22 goals 11 assists with 9 pens ??🤣🤦♂️ palmer clears Saka…. You must be an Arsenal fan 🤡
@@XLscaf Lol, I was adding Other penalties he played by mistake.
Anyways, palmer had 3 more goals than him with 2 more assist than him in the league.
Still doesn't change the fact that, saka was better in more areas and was more creative.
Saka is still clear, has been clear for the past 4 seasons.
Saka that, aside fabregas & ronaldo is the only player to have 60g/a before 23.
@@jimohabdulqudus4283 Saka was not better than him in any area, or more creative…. I understand your bias but please use logic 🤣 I’m not saying Saka is bad, but palmer is on a completely different level to him 🤷♂️
@Jimo you using the word literally doesn't prove you right. Do not remove penalties, that's not how football and statistics work. Palmer is ahead of saka. I'm not going to use clear because they are both amazing players but Palmer is better and he already has 4 assists and 1 goal this season
The moment they said Palmer v Mainoo was a tough decision, I skipped that part. Palmer wins this easily and there's no way Saka is better than Palmer.
These guys talking about Palmer's one season at Chelsea yet they forget that he scored against Arsenal in the Community Shield and scored for City in the Super Cup and won Motm.
this ageed so bad lol, palmer already miles ahead this season again. Stop the cap, palmer not only the best youngest player, he simply one of the best in the world rn
and now he is playing for Chelsea who are just 1 point behind Arsenal, so no more he just be doing that in a bad team lol
6 GOALS 4 ASSISTS in 6 games!!!
AND HE CONTINUES INTO THE 2ND SEASON. 4 GOALS IN 40 MINS NEVER DONE BEFORE. NOT HAALAND, AGUERO, RONALDO, HENRY NOBODY HAS SCORED A FIRST HALF QUAD!!!! SAKAA WHOOOOOOO???? WE HAVE THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD. BUKAYOS PLAY COMES FROM CORNERS. PALMERS IS CLASSSSS. SUCK ALL UR MUDDAASSSSS
Palmer score more goal in the Euros more than saka this season
Palmer bro no challenge there 🎉 he's young, won trophies already, making history in pl scoring 4 goals in 1st half very amazing he is cold bro.
Palmer got 3 assists and a goal in same game? Already on it this season wasn’t a ‘freak season’
Just come here after Palmer absolutely SHATTERED both Brighton and Premier League record!!
Premier League 24/25 stats so far
Saka:
played 3
1 goal and 3 assists
Palmer:
played 3
1 goal and 4 assists
saka has a better all time career? palmer carried his team all the way to the mighty conference league. saka got us champions league football. theres levels

I am an Arsenal fan but a lot of respect for Palmer
Palmer is better I know ya'll never would admit it but its true
@@ErgenJaeger no he is not, there is a reason people compare every young player to saka, he is being doing this in the last 4 years unlike palmer who was watching at the bench
@@bukhariapdelahi7072 At the bench in a stacked man city team who have been DOMINATING teams is not that bad, he came of the bench and did a better job with less tools than saka in terms of team/manager players around him .. and palmer had 188 minutes played in euros = 1 goals 1 assist, saka 635 minutes 1 goal 1 assist in the euros. i will bet you now that palmer will also have a better G/A than Saka this season just watch and come back in comment end of season

How is hojlund better than doku
Doku can't finish for shitn
One of the best goal conversions rate in the Europe top 5 league last season bro scored 17 goals as a youngsters in first prem season , 2nd season professionally , bro barely got any chances , Toney started playing in Jan / feb and got more chances / shots than him
I have eyes.he is not good
@@Number-tx9vy need better eyes fr
There both crap 💩 anyway
I mean even Ian wright said put Saka into left back to get Palmer in. Obvious which of the two he rates more
No it’s just that Saka can play there while some others can’t.
I'm sure he read my comment on that...
I am back again today and waiting for SSaka to ever score 4 goals in a game..in the premier league, not those international friendlies against teams I can't even pronounce
He doesn't even have a prem hat trick but Cole has 3 already
no need to argue cole palmer all the way bro
Who’s here after palmers 4 goals in first half 😌💙
Palmer scored 4 in first half who’s here?❤
Arsenal fan is delusional palmer is light years ahead of Saka if you think otherwise you don’t know shit about football. Palmer is a generational talent his compose is unmatched he does the business simple as that.
Did you know how many hatricks Cold has. Created another record by been the first to score 4 goals in a half not just that in 20mins. Respect the name Palmer
Palmer is definitely clear of Saka now no debate hahaha
Has to be Palmer
Surely has to be position vs position. LB vs RW & CB vs CM in the first round is mental.
Palmer vs Saka isnt even a debate the season palmer had in a stinky team but we ALL KNOW arsenal fanbase are the most delusional
Arsenal fans will be upset with this but this time next year it will be generally accepted that Palmer is a better player than saka.
There is no way Palmer is better than Saka.
@@Victor-wp5jlyes palmer is certainly better than saka!!!!!
@kylehunt8346 Based on what One season compared to five ?
@@Victor-wp5jl when has saka ever put the numbers up that Cole just did? Palmer showed up for his country with far less game time than saka, not only that, it’s clear to see when you watch them palmer is so obviously better than saka! Only arsenal fans think saka is better

Palmer is a million miles above Saka. Not even close as a debate based on anything.
Palmer gives more in every department.
Palmer isn’t far off the best young player in the world.
Just deluded Arsenal supporters will try to argue it.
Southgate massively dropped the ball by benching Palmer and putting Foden out of position.
Arsenal fans must be crazy to even think that Saka is a better football player than cold Palmer.
I love Saka and it is close but Palmer destroyed, if he wasn't at Chelsea last season, they are in a relegation battle.
If every player wasn’t at Chelsea last season, there wouldn’t have been a team called Chelsea in the first place.
Palmer is a dream signing for me.
Such insane potential and insane current form
22:30 he wants his amount of trophies and his amount of ga was hilarious 😂😂😂
Agree with Expressions 100% on all the shouts tbf
The correct decision. It’s always the salty Arsenal fans who object to this, everyone else can see it. Palmer beats all of Saka’s previous seasons on one season, in a worse team. Not even a conversation
here again after our cold blooded boi bagged 4 goals on first half 🍷
Palmer outclasses Saka
Madness is when you think Mainoo is comparable to Palmer!
“He’s been 22 for about ten years.” 😂😂😂
This aged well. 6 games, 6 goals, 4 assists. #coldpalmer
Palmer and it’s not close
Saka has been performing for multiple seasons. Body of work is what gets more respect, Palmer can get that but people are always hyping up players after a good season now and the next thing we’re not talking about them.
Palmer already has 5 g/a in 3 games this season 🤣
Where did Cole take Chelsea in his best season of his life? 6th. Don't disrespect Saka like that.
You’re so full of recency bias it’s so sad at this point
@@WiseOnion mate put saka in that chelsea team and he's not even taking them to 10th

Anyone want to argue against Palmer after today? 😂😂😂
Being a unbiased chelsea fan if cecils point about saka getting better and better every season but still hasn't had as good of a season as cole palmer in his first season
And somehow, Palmer didn't get into the EPLs team of the season
because of where they finished on the table
@guffins1 it's supposed to be about the players and not teams. Individual players from different teams forming the team of the season and not top finishing teams players
@@Arome_Shot_Itbut it is mainly based about the top finishing teams let’s be real…

That's because most of the good players would be in the top 4 finishing teams.
It makes sense when players perform better their team will finish higher

If Southgate would have started Cole Palmer in the Euro Final, England would have won the Euro 2024 Cup.
Pretty much perfect tbh. Maybe Colwill over Doku, agree that Gvardiol was robbed off being in the final four though, pairing him with Palmer was tough.

Palmer by far
Palmer is rivaling Haaland, Mbappe & Vini but they had a serious debate over Mainoo? This aged like rancid milk🤣🤣🤣🤣
Redo it again..palmer is the goat😂
Part of me feels like we should start terming players ‘young’ based on their years in the league not how old they are.
Rashford was playing 5 years in the United first team and still getting nominated for PFA Young Player of the Year for example.
Saka is unreal but he’s been starting in the Prem for about 4 full seasons, last season was Cole Palmer’s season of regular first team football yet because they’re both around the same age they’ll get compared.
