Hi Sandi, I liked the treatment for the time and age I was when I got chose to do it. I don't think I would do again, but I do feel it kept my skin looking younger longer. I am still very happy and maintain my results with quarterly micro needling treatments with the Scarlet SRF.

I don't do this treatment. I know you can reach out to Clear Skin Institute in Phoenix, Arizona and see if they still perform this skin tightening treatment!
My goodness. This is so interesting. I can’t wait to see the future results! It looks like it really hurt during the recovery process. The pain is minimal if you follow the doctor’s instructions, right?
Yes. You really need to take it easy to eliminate hyper pigmentation. Even though there is minimal damage to the barrier, there is a lot going on! I am glad I had taken the time to heal before going back to work!
Hi Julie! I reached out to a couple experts and here is what the said. Yes.... and NO.... lol, Renuvion is a helium plasma that is used sub dermal for tissue tightening. Most commonly used in the OR during a facelift or tummy tuck (abdominalplasty). It has to be performed by an MD, but most always a plastic, derm or cosmetic surgeon. It can disfigure you if used too aggressively or by someone who is not confident in the procedure. Neogen is FDA approved for external use for wrinkles, acne scars, benign skin lesions etc. It's pulsed verses continuous and very predictable because the energy and depth can be controlled. Amazing! Thanks for sharing! Very interesting. I'm curious as to why you chose those products for healing? More specifically: what was superior about them for this process (as opposed to neogenesis Recovery serum for example)? If you have time to answer I'd love to know. Thank you!!!!
Hi Abbie, Great questions. I did used Neogenesis recovery, as well as Viktoria Deanne Peptides. Neo is a great product because of the molecules of the stem cell . The molecules help repair my cells deficient patterns, thus creating a better healing journey. The Peptides help my body produce more collagen and Elastin that lower as we age. I combined usage alternating the product every other day. I did this to try to encourage my bodies healing process while also trying not to over energize or exhaust my own healing processes. Does that help at all?
I had this procedure done for acne and acne scars and my face is red and brown, but especially my cheeks are red...and I am dying out of fear! My dermatologist says it is normal to look like that now...but I am feeling absolutely freaked out. Somebody pls reasure me..😧😭

I cannot wait 10 days to pass. Were you as well so red? To me you seemed more brown on day 3. Anyways I have chosen one of the best dermatologist here in my country, I hope his words are true that this is normal and that it will heal...i pray and hope😳
@@Skinbyjanemann dear Jane, can I just ask you one more thing. When you say day 4 do you count the day of treatment as well or it is 4 days after the treatment? My dermatologist said I should expect peeling around 5th day after the treatment...thank you 🙏😇
@@giaa3473 Hi. Thanks for asking. By now I see no improvement in my scars or skin whatsoever. The only thing I have "gained" is two lines/indentations on my cheeks, under my eyes where my sunglasses were touching the skin after the treatment, and there is still a texture there in that place, some sort of lumps and bumps, that only makes me look older. Of course it is subtle but I definitely did not have that before the treatment, so I hope it is not permanent. By now neither the downtime neither the price (1200eur) was worth it. If I could, I would undo it.
How about wrinkles?? Did it get rid of wrinkles like a co2 laser would? I know it is different than the co2 laser but I lot of people compare the two. I love that it is collagen boosting but I really am hoping it will knock out my wrinkles also.
I wonder why this treatment is not offerred everywhere. I was looking for it here in my country (Germany), but nobody offers it, but I found some people in the Netherlands who do it. And as soon as we can cross the border without having to go into quarantine, I will try to have it done. Do you think it helps with jowls?
Did you need the nerve block? Or were you OK with just face numbing? I didn’t catch where you said what the pain was like during the procedure. Thanks for your response
I was "ok" not perfect, but I sucked it up and went with the nitrox oxide. That helped a bit. If you don't have a high pain tolerance, I suggest a nerve block. :)
Probably not, If youre Fitzpatrick 6. For 3,4,5 you wouod probably be put on hydroquinone for several months prior, to prep your skin and help mitigate PIH. Im an RN/esthetician and have worked for plastic surgeons, its been a few years but i dont think much has changed regarding darker skin tones
The company says that it is "color blind". So there is a low risk of the lines of demarkation that can happen with CO2. However, the melanocytes are not reproduce . Meaning you are born with a specific number of pigment producing cells and if they get damaged a white spot occurs. A lot of laser is never a good idea...because of that reason.
Would this be appropriate for someone who is very heat sensitive (I can't use LED because it worsens hyperpigmentation)? Also, what are your thoughts on the Exo Skin Simple products?
Possibly, but I would do some prep work with a skin lighter or something to block the formation of pigment. The treatment is suppose to be color blind, but I did pigment on my left cheek for a couple months. It came off with out peels or IPL
@@Skinbyjanemann What do you mean by "prep work"? Do you mean apply a skin lightener before treatment or after treatment? What specifically should I do? Also, you say your pigment came off after; what did you use and how long did it take? Thanks!
