Thanks, Amazon had one wand on sale recently and the site did not say which wand was the newest version and what the difference is between them. I tried looking online, and found many sites that give “reviews “ regarding skincare devices that are associated with magazines/ media sites or are “dermatologist recommended “. I don’t trust any of them as the sites are suspiciously visually similar and the “reviews” are almost all the same. I can only think that they are not giving real reviews. Thanks for being honest about the experiences you have with the products you cover, as well as being transparent with anything you endorse. It’s becoming a rarity amongst people who cover makeup/ skincare.
Hi Victoria! Although there isn't a "new" version - we have three which have different types of gasses! We have a great comparison chart that Trina shows around the 7:16 mark. Thank you so much for the note, we'll review our Amazon listings to make everything more clear! And always here for smart shopping 👏there are some great resources on RUclips as well as TikTok for educational backgrounds on High Frequency and the NuDerma!
Years ago I got a peeling. My acne was bad. The aesthetician used this type of wand in my treatment. It helped a lot. I just got my own. I got the clinical. Thanks for your video. Helped a lot. I wasn't sure it was safe under the eyes.
With my original (the lower priced one), I was abke to get a raised piece of skin completely removed. I used it evey other day fkr a few mins/day. I think the oroginal hard box is perfect for safety. They have foam inside and the tools stay safe in each enclosed spot.
i would like to do it but im hesitant because of how delicate the applicators are! but i sure do love this modality, reminds me of the classic dermawand
Great video! please keep doing updates. Where do I buy replacements? Can I just buy the orange anti aging as a replacement? How do I know when the gas is used up in the glass attachments?
Would you recommend these wands or an LED mask for acne/post inflammatory erythema/texture/anti aging? I’m 33 and acne prone but not sure if I should pull the trigger on getting an LED mask or something like this to start since this would be my first device and want to make a good purchase :)
I’ve never really known much about this procedure or even heard of this product and its variations until now so forgive my cluelessness but you’ve mentioned a few times they all contain argon gas (along with neon), to treat acne but what if I’m not prone to acne? Would it do more harm than good or would it still be safe… or should I use the standard or professional version? You also mentioned lifespan… how long is the lifespan of these gases in the tubes, using them at the maximum rate or is this indeterminable? I’m most interested in the neck and hair applications. Thank you for taking the time to create this most informative video.
There's no harm in using it if you don't have acne. It's just more convenient to have both gasses in one! I have no idea about how long it will last since I've had my wands for years and they still work. You could reach out to ask Pure Daily Care. Thanks for watching!
Hi. Do you find this one to be just as effective at treating acne compared to the professional? I’m wondering if combining the neon and argon together diminishes the effects compared to using them separately like the professional version requires.
I've had facials over the years, at a variety of different places, and where they've used this type of device. More recently however, I was at a spa in the neighborhood, and got a facial. Now on one hand, this place is quite good and 'professional', as far as little neighborhood spas go. However, it is Chinese-owned and run, which I know can sometimes mean they are getting their products from China, and where the quality can be questionable. Anyway, when the facialist used the high-frequency device on me, it felt no different than other spas I've been to, and where they used this device. There was a very light 'zap' feeling now and then, but overall, it was honestly quite mild. However, after my facial, while my overall skin was glowing...it looked terrific....'moist'....dewy...'plump' (any teeny wrinkles I may have on my face, as a whole, seemed LESS noticeable)....I noticed that the opposite had occurred on the deeper wrinkles on my face (i.e., my 'frown' lines, one horizontal line on my forehead, and the two 'smile lines' on either side of my mouth). All of those lines looked MORE pronounced and deeper, after this facial. Any idea why that would be...what would cause that? I don't think it's my imagination... ;-) Thanks!
Hi, i was wondering so if i want to use it for my face & hair together in one day/session, i also shouldn't exceed the 3min mark? Or can you do 2min of combing the hair and 2min on the face? Tnx😊
Sooo question: I noticed you place your finger initially on the glass to ground it but then you remove your finger when using other attachments, do you need to ground the tool the whole time with the finger or are you able to remove it like you did in the example.. asking as esthetician student
No, I don't think it matters. If your skin gets red for some reason, you could do it at night. Or if you are treating an acne flareup, it might be nice to do it at night so you wake up with better looking skin.
I just purchased mine since my cystic acne just came back two weeks ago. Now I have two huge cystic bumps and my skin has been at my lowest and it's been making me feel very low. This product arrives in two days, I just wanted to know with the huge bumps in my cheeks will it be okay for me to apply the mushroom tube? And is that the best tube to use? Also for cleaning afterwards, would alcohol wipes work?
If you got the fusion wand, you can use whatever applicator you want. The mushroom one should work. If it's too painful (because cystic acne can be so painful!) then you can switch to one with a smaller surface area. It's a good idea to use alcohol wipes to keep everything clean, just be really careful when handling it only at the base so you don't break it. The applicators are very fragile!
Great video! But I'm a little confused, should we be placing our finger on the tube to "ground" the device each time we lift it off our skin? Or is it only once in the beginning when first turning the device on? Thanks
Hello. I have a couple of quick question. I can barely see the gas in the tubes, which is fine. I can smell the device when it’s on. My question is how do you know when the tube runs out of gas? When I use the mushroom tube, I use it over my entire face. Then when I use the tongue tube I end up going over the same area, is this ok? Also it usually takes me 15 to 20 minutes but it’s because I have to keep turning it off to add more of the serum So it’s on and off. I am getting quicker at it and your tip with the mist is awesome.
I am not aware that it will run out of gas. I have never encountered this scenario. But I would imagine it would be quite obvious if it did run out since you would no longer feel the device working against your skin and you probably wouldn't hear any buzz. You are welcome to reach out to Pure Daily Care to ask them directly since they sell the device and will know better than I do. Regarding timing, I would try to stick to the manual and use the tool against your skin for no longer than the total recommended time (not counting when you take breaks to apply serum).
@@beautybeyond40 surprisingly I do not feel anything when I use the machine. On one of the booklets it says every other day, but inside the manual I see it says no more than 2x a week. Thank you for your help. I also want to add red light therapy next.
