Lucky you with the ironstone! 😍 And those swallows are gorgeous! I can't wait to see where you put them. They're not sparrows - you can tell by their tails and shape of their wings. They're something special either way! The pillow is gorgeous and such a pretty shade of blue and pattern. Love the ship artwork. Already nicely matted and framed! I'm not sure, but the glass piece with the wooden handle might be a vinegar bottle? It would be a good match for the pickle jar! And such a good price for the mirror! They can be so expensive and with Rub n Buff, it can look like whatever you want it to! As always, you found such good "stuff"!

Oh I would have picked up that blue and white ceramic thing. It is a clock minus the parts. If you go and watch Sherry from Canterbury cottage, she does DIY’s with clocks like that. They are wonderful and so creative. I think you’d like them.

We sat in desks like that but before that chair. We got those latter. Ours before that in the 1948 era had a drawer under the seat that you pulled out toward the isle. We were assigned our desks by our last names in alphabetical order. My brother sat behind me seeing that we are twins....that didn't last long...they split us up by sending one of us to another classroom and teacher. We talked about everything at home...since we were born, you might say....so they couldn't break us of it in the classroom.😊❤. Now those (with the drawer) were "antique". And yes they were small....we were in kindergarten and first grade in those desks in Cleveland Ohio 🎉

The blue and white china piece at 2:39 in your video is, I believe, the mount/housing for a mantel or shelf clock. You can buy electric clocks to retrofit into old clock cases like this.

What a small world. I just found your channel and have been watching a bunch of videos and kept thinking to myself man some of these places look familiar. And then your Festival and Train Station kinda gave it away...I am from Ithaca I wont rat ya out for obvious reasons but just wanted to say you have great taste in antiques. Some of thie things you have remind me so much of my grandmothers old farm house from years past. Was pretty bummed out I couldnt make the festival and the garage sales this yr looks like they were pretty good. Great haul!

I laughed to myself when I saw the vintage foldable ironing board. I have my mothers wooden ironing board that folds up too. It is used in my laundry room as I love to iron.😂❤
Love the sparrows..they would be cute attached to a framed bible verse like Matthew 10:29 or luke 12:6...although, I'm not usually a fan of framed wording. But that's the first thing i thought of when i saw them. Love them
I tried them on the frame of a thrifted mirror and that didn’t look bad, but wasn’t meant to be. I’m still trying to find the perfect use for them 🥰

Curious, is her style similar to yours? If I’m guessing, based off your videos, your style is French country/farmhouse. Your mom’s might be a bit more primitive/rustic?? And your sister’s a bit darker Victorian; perhaps bolder colors? Just a guess. Love seeing everyone’s styles.
Hi Melissa, it was a lot of fun and very convenient having them all within blocks of our house. She has a more modern vintage style I think, but she likes some warm and moody colors.
I love seeing you with the family members. A quick glimpse of husband, your kids, Kathy and Sis. Couldn’t be better, even if the tractor thingy, was scary for the little one. Not something that happens in Oz or at least not where I live.

I'd love to visit sometime. I've never been there. I do have a friend who lives up there as well. I love the old houses and how many antiques you find just at thrift stores and yard sales.
