You just picked up a red suitcase, saying you only intended to put things on top. These can be really adorable if you open it up and decorate the inside with some really cute patterned material just kind of sloppily laid inside
The thing about putting stuff out for yard sales is they should be clean. Customer shouldn’t have to wonder if they can get them clean or not
They should also be priced
Your nightstand story reminds me of my daughter and son-in-law and family moving to Vegas. They didn’t want to take his dresser so they gave it to us which was only about 50 years newer than what we had from my parents in the 70s lol. The drawer.s were broken and so they also gave us matching nightstands. I put my old one which was really in very nice condition out on the curb with a free sign on it. It took two days to be gone. I kept coming home thinking oh I hope somebody took it. Finally I came home and it was gone and I was so happy. This thing was very well built had dovetail and everything. The top wasn’t in very bad condition, but it was super heavy and a great deal for free, but I couldn’t believe that it took two whole days.
Get the moose for $1.00 you could incorporate that into a Christmas project.

Kelly, for stains on porcelain, a trick I use in my re-sell booth, is to soak the piece with a denture cleaner tablet such as Polident. It also works on water-stained toilets!

For tea stains and nasty old containers, pick up a box of denture tablets from the dollar store. I throw one in a thermos, 2 in old gallon jugs, etc. Works like absolute magic!!

I love your show, and I’m also terrified of flying. My husband always asks about going to different places and I tell him to go, take his daughter and grand daughter but, he won’t go because I won’t fly. I fell guilty but, not enough to fly.

Debbie, I have a double chin as well. I gained a lot of weight several years ago and when I lost it I have sagging under my chin and I hate it so much. If I were ever to get a surgery that’s what I would do. I am very self-conscious about it. And honestly, I didn’t really notice years until you mentioned it.

What great deals you and Debbie got--you were actually at some of the same sales. Hubby and I did a quick fly by shopping on Saturday of the yard sale trail--you know life gets in the way at times. we love to drive M29 with all the great scenery and bring along a picnic lunch to enjoy by the water.

Love your videos. Y'all always seem to find some of the best stuff and amazing prices. That pitcher and bowl was probably vintage ironstone and probably why it was priced at $50. That vintage bubble glass picture at $35 was also a really good deal. They sometimes sell for 3 times that or more online. I was surprised that you passed up some of the vintage kitchen gadgets. Loved the red suit case. Y'all always seem to have so much fun. I wish I had someone that enjoyed shopping like that with me, although my husband seems to think I need to get rid of some of the stuff I already have.

I had a similar experience called The 💯 mile yard sale from Chula VA to Farmville VA. It’s the first Sat. in July every year. It’s always fun!

Is farmhouse style still really in where you are? I'm in Kentucky and it's went out here. It's dark academia and a cottage core here. As much as I will miss my farm house I'm getting into the dark academia. I love your videos.

Stained teapots, coffee pots and cups are easy to clean as long as they are still sealed. I spray a Clorox bleach cleaner in mine then wash with hot water and Dawn liquid dish detergent. If the outside is good and the inside cannot be cleaned they can make cute plant pots or vases.
Magic Eraser is great to clean the bottoms of the cups and the coffee and tea pots.
Had such a nice time shopping with you. I could have filled my car up too. The clock at 51:20 was bent. I have that one sitting right beside me. (Hobby Lobby item)
