Anyone asking ebay prices needs to sell their item on ebay. They see those high prices and don’t take into account the larger portion that sold for less, the ebay fees, taxes, shipping, etc. If they are not willing to go through the work of posting, advertising, sending offers, packing, shipping and paying fees, they shouldn’t be asking the prices that denote that effort.
That's funny what you said about the Mighty Ducks Jersey, I just found 1 at a Thrift Store for $3.49 and it say's "Banks" on the back too. It looks Brand New too! Also it surprises me that you pull out your phone & look stuff up, standing in front of the Garage Sale Seller. I do everything by Gut Instinct, since 2005 & it pays off!

I really dislike that so many people do not price their items. Too much chit chat required 😊. And so many times when you ask for the price they start off with, “hmm” and a pause. I’ve never had a yard sale but I think I’d just group items by prices.
Best movie with your mum in it .i used to take my dad to garage sales every Saturday. Best times together you will remember. Very lucky to have a good son to take her out and about .i cant wait to watch mum next time at thecyard sales .best wishes from Western Australia mum.

I have a resale store for over 25 years, and I can't tell you how many people come and sell me stuff and tell me what it's worth and then I show them that they are selling for half that price then they say ok, and I say ok what? Then they say I'll take that price. I'm like I can't give you that price and sell it for less than that because that's what its selling for online, so I have to sell it for less than that. Then they say oh no I'm not selling for less than that. And I'm like that's ok because I don't want to buy it. LOL

Those bobble heads at 15:38 are not retail those are more then likely special giveaways for attending certain games like the game of thrones was probably a game of thrones night. She probably looked them up to see what others were selling them for and marked them as retail.

Pickers educate us on what things might be worth. We would love, the eBay prices, but don't want to go thru the hassle. Our kids don't want our crap. But we still think it's worth too much!!😂

You are missing the point of different ways to market an item. If you have a vintage widget it does not have a set value. If you take it to an vintage widget show you will get top dollar because people looking for the widget are going to this show. On eBay you will get less as it is not the market to get top dollar for this widget but you will still get a good dollar for it. Now if you set up a garage sale you will get bottom dollar as the chances of a collector coming by are slim to none. People can ask whatever they want at garage sale but highly unlikely they will get huge dollars at a garage sale. R
