As a jewelry reseller, that huge tote for $175 was a STEAL! Get a good magnet, to sort the fake 925 from the real. This will pay for itself at least a few times over! Nice find!!!
I LOVE buying bags of jewelry from the thrift stores. Earlier this year there was an authentic men’s vintage omega watch in the jewelry I bought. Had it appraised and it’s worth $5,000. Couldn’t believe it!!! So much fun!! ☺️
LOL Even costume stuff sells, and if new, it can sell pretty well. I’m also excited to see the cool find. I sell jewelry that way (buying lots) and finding a treasure is a real hoot. If nothing else, you guys will learn some about jewelry and have some fun with it.
Put all the broken stuff in a bag and resell it for craft material. My sister makes Christmas Trees on board with the broken brooches. I also have a high school friend who makes shadow like boxes out of old rusty sardine cans that used to roll up with a metal key.
U of M university hospital has beautiful collage pictures made with broken bits of costume jewelry and tgey are very cool to see in their main hallways on the way to surgery.
I put jewelry together in quart jars and they sell well in my booth in Elgin. I have 50+ years experience dealing in jewelry. If you ever need anything looked at, I deal in vintage and antique jewelry. I don't mind taking a look. I'm not interested in buying but don't mind helping with identification. Might be a real good find!
That box was MASSIVE! You can identify Pandora by the marks "Ale 925." The odds you'd have some gold or silver in there have to be pretty good! Happy digging 😊
Wow who would have thought Golden goose trinkets would be hiding in there, I like how you guys go outside of your comfort zone to learn some new things.
I would for sure buy the box of jewelry... Costume jewelry is worth money too, and if there is any gold at all, which I am almost sure there would be, that would probably cover most of the cost. Risk worth taking for sure.
Mystery boxes are always so much fun. I get random frozen item bundles from a nearby food bank style place for $15 and its always worth it. Your good will mystery boxes were heaps of fun too.
I buy jewelry in bulk like that and what is good to sell individually I list and the rest I lot up and sell in 2 or 3 pound bags. There are a lot of people that buy the bags to salvage beads or whatever to use in making crafts and jewelry.
Tips: If you use a small needle, you can detangle almost any necklace. Once you do, thread your necklace through a straw, and it will remain tangle free. Happy sorting!
Great video. The first time I saw golden goose sneakers I could not believe the price. I thought they were junk dirty sneaker belonging to someone playing in the mud. Then someone said they are made to look grungy! I am glad you got some great pieces to sell. Thanks for entertaining me!
Wow! If I made that kind of jewelry investment, I'd end up with gumball machine rings and string necklaces! What a great buy! I am in Greenville Co. I think I need to go to Simpsonville to Goodwill. The one in Greer is pityful!!
Ahhh and there you guys are at my second fav store. I found a. NWT pair of platform crocs in the little store in there that they mark stuff up in for $15. Sold for $80!
I love jewelry box lots! It’s like a treasure hunt! I purchase them occasionally from local online auction sales. My favorite finds were a green Weiss cabochon brooch, and a red Weiss rhinestone brooch. I’m still hoping to score some Hollycraft! Also look for Coro, Trifari, and Monet.
You need a loupe if you don't have one. It helps you see markings on back of jewelery. Some good costume jewelry brands sell well. Some decent ones are Trifari, liz claiborne, lia sophia, coro, Tiffany and co...etc.
I just bought a 30 lb box right after buying an 18 lb box so this looks oh so familiar! We haven’t been through the 30lb box yet, but the 18 lb box was definitely worth it. Although it did take us a long time to untangle the mess! 😬😬😬 and I would never have known about Golden Goose so I’m glad to know to look for that!
Some of the modern costume would be good for the booth. Paparazzi is junk, hard core. I didn't see anything I'd have wanted, but ^5 on those golden goose charms!
Those "hair ties" that Hayley pointed out could be vintage telephone cord bracelets from the late 80's and early 90's though I do see a bunch for sale new on various sites listed as hair ties so maybe they are those. I can't get a good look at them. There were thinner ones that I called slinky bracelets and were usually in neon colors. If you find any rubber feeling bracelets, those were popular at the same time... when the Jelly Shoes were a trend. They would often be worn in large amounts and/or entwined together. I believe there are photos with Madonna wearing those somewhere in her early years. I'm pretty sure that trend started because of her.
Buying a jewelry box like that would be a dream and a nightmare at the same time, so much fun to see what's in it but I don't know enough about gold/silver and gems to be able to know what's actually good so I would have anxiety over what I might miss! Like the Golden Goose shoe charms, I wouldn't have even thought to look into those, I would have thought they were basic key chains....
Hey from Greenville! I’m yelling at my husband that y’all are at my Goodwills!!! We also have a bins and a cool Re-craft store! I highly recommend! Hope you enjoyed the upstate. Blessings!
Re-craft is a thrift store for crafters and artists. They have art supplies including yarn, fabric and sculpting materials. They also have jewelry and unique donated items. And office supplies- some free items for teachers.
I got a huge bin like that full of Lego for $50. Still selling from that bin, have easily made over $300 just on mini figures. I normally would never spend that much on a bin but decided to chance it.
hi just an idea if you get a broom handel or simiular and put it between two chairs you could hang all of the necklaces on it as you untangle them put earrings in small bag on a piece of card hope everything sells and you have fun doing it
Wow good for you on the jewelry in goodwill in georgia they don't sell donated jewelry they send it to shop goodwill make sure you grab stuff like that before they start removing it from your stores
Don't always look for gold or silver. Costume jewelry can be amazing. Worth a lot. Research! Look for vintage Monet, Trifarii, Julianna, St. John's, Haddie Carnegie etc.
Hey Josh. Just in case you didn't know there is a live action Stitch movie planned to release in the next year. Hang on to those Stitch plush. The popularity is guaranteed to go up then.
Awesome! :D
I COULDN'T WAIT I HAD TO FAST FORWARD JUST TO WATCH UR SHOWING UR TREASURES

I LOVE a good mystery box, that jewelry load looks like so much fun with a bit of untangling headache. Can’t wait to watch the Whatnot shows!
I LOVE BUYING the big jars and bins of jewelry and beads etc. They are so much fun to sort through.
LOL Even costume stuff sells, and if new, it can sell pretty well. I’m also excited to see the cool find. I sell jewelry that way (buying lots) and finding a treasure is a real hoot. If nothing else, you guys will learn some about jewelry and have some fun with it.
Your joy in checking out the jewelry came right through my monitor into my heart. My face hurts from smiling so big and long.
You two are adorable!❤

I just want to sit at the table and untangle all the jewelry. It would make my crazy little mind so happy!
I love going through these! Look out for trafari and Kirk’s folly, and Joan rivers… some good $$$
Trifari, J.Crew makes nice stuff, and Madewell jewelry does well. Heidi Daus rhinestones used to be really good.
old egg cartons work really well for the earrings and smaller necklaces
I love a jewelry unboxing… it sure is a lot of work. Thank you for letting us come along

I have lots of jewelry from a late aunt and have no clue where to start.
That box was MASSIVE!
You can identify Pandora by the marks "Ale 925."

People who make stuff with that kind of jewelry will love that. I think you did great buying it
Yeah, People forget about the Costume Makers and Crafters.
Wow who would have thought Golden goose trinkets would be hiding in there, I like how you guys go outside of your comfort zone to learn some new things.
I wish I lived local. I love untangling jewlery!
OMG! What a crazy find! I would love to sort through that bin of jewelry I bet there are some real good pieces in there!
I would for sure buy the box of jewelry... Costume jewelry is worth money too, and if there is any gold at all, which I am almost sure there would be, that would probably cover most of the cost. Risk worth taking for sure.

WOW! What an awesome score!! Can't wait to hear what that jewelry tote was worth in the end!!
You guys have the best sourcing opportunities. So happy for you!
Eye yi captin! Looking like the captain from the beginning of SpongeBob😂
I love buying bulk jewelry! So much fun going through it!
I buy jewelry in bulk like that and what is good to sell individually I list and the rest I lot up and sell in 2 or 3 pound bags. There are a lot of people that buy the bags to salvage beads or whatever to use in making crafts and jewelry.

It’s like a mini storage unit in a tub. 😅
Amazing haul. Can’t wait for the what not show. Glad you scored big time. ❤
I saw a few vintage looking brooches. I use those in crafts. Hopefully I will be able to attend the show when you have it.
Loved the jewelry mystery box! You two looked like you were having so much fun going through the tangled mess lol!
Great video. The first time I saw golden goose sneakers I could not believe the price. I thought they were junk dirty sneaker belonging to someone playing in the mud. Then someone said they are made to look grungy! I am glad you got some great pieces to sell. Thanks for entertaining me!
You need to see if any of that costume jewelry has marker marks in it, some of the older jewelry can go for good money. Great Video
Wow! If I made that kind of jewelry investment, I'd end up with gumball machine rings and string necklaces! What a great buy!
I am in Greenville Co. I think I need to go to Simpsonville to Goodwill. The one in Greer is pityful!!
If you don't have one, need a jewelry loupe. Marks can be tricky.
I've got a booth in an antique store and cheap jewelry sells well in it!!! Great haul!!!
Awesome! What a great thing to do to keep stuff out of the landfill!❤
Ahhh and there you guys are at my second fav store. I found a. NWT pair of platform crocs in the little store in there that they mark stuff up in for $15. Sold for $80!
Playing like your 'Wonder Woman', Josh. With your power bracelet? 😜
The tree with rocks is a gemstone tree of life pendant. Usually they are made with gemstone chip beads and wire wrapped.
How fun! Love it that you would take a risk that paid off.
Cool finds so far in the jewelry, costume jewelry some of it can be good. Lol 😂😅 when dumping the bin, thought it was going to flew all over. ❤😊
Seeing that all spread out on your table.....imagine the hey-day an indoor cat would have w/ that
Great haul! I’d lot up all the beads/broken pieces and list as a “crafters lot”. ❤
Josh looking like the new Captain Birds Eye in that Jungle Cruise cap.
Great video! Thank you both!!
Maybe you could put some of the jewelry in your booth, little girls would love that stuff. Well, grown women too! Fun video!
You need a loupe if you don't have one. It helps you see markings on back of jewelery. Some good costume jewelry brands sell well. Some decent ones are Trifari, liz claiborne, lia sophia, coro, Tiffany and co...etc.
Awesome mystery box!! Super fun!!
You guys say "oh my goodness". It reminds me science guy Forest Valaki and he says "oh my glob". I think that is so cool and funny.

So fun, Occasionally I will make a 5-pound jewelry jar for all those crafters out there...They usually go for around $25.00.
The tangles is your gold and silver ,the store don't like to untangle so good luck hope you find great things!❤
Sweet find. I remember getting a much smaller bundle for like $20 and it was definitely worth it. There was one watch worth $50 if I remember right
The easy way to test whether your pearls are real is to rub them on a tooth if it feels gritty they’re real if they’re smooth they’re glass/fake xxx
