Why does it seem that my hydraulic brake doesn’t bite as well after a period of use? There are several reasons including brake pads being worn out or air bubbles leaking into the hydraulic hose. Or, the third reason could be that your mineral oil is leaking out. For the second and third reasons above, you will have to rebleed the brake hose on your hydraulic brakes.
Most quality brake systems use mineral oil as their braking fluid so you will need a small bottle of that. Shimano mineral oil is the most popular and trusted brand.
You will also need a bleeding kit consisting of valves, syringes and brake block.
With those ready, you can follow this tutorial and start giving your scooter the same braking power like before.

Exactly what I needed to know. Bought hydraulic brakes for my scooter 8 months ago but had no idea hours to bleed them. I’ve done cars and motorcycles and they were easy. Now I can do scooter brakes. Thank you for a post well done.
Let us know what other vids we can do!
Great job.
I Will certainly do maitenance on mine ones. That is all thanks to you.
Thank you I really appreciate you taking the time to post this. Thank you. 👍

People like me lol nube freindly... Tired of paying out of my ass for my ninja oil change maintenance damn air filters spark plugs tire changes... Now I can get a scooter and almost do all the work myself. Of course with your helpful vids!
Thank you. Took me 5 minutes to fix my fronts.
Thank you so much for the video! Is possible to provide links for the materials because online I do not where were to get those tools to bleed my brakes.
Super review and super helpful, please I did everything as you showed on your video, and last move when I remove the tube on top to install screw a lot of oil get out not like inside your vido zero oil, why man I need help
This was a great & very helpful lesson, Thank you guys..👍🏽
I have had nothing but problems with the nutt brakes on my RS5. A bummer for sure. The scooter , though, is excellent 😊
With this instructions, the final step will be - replace pads and rotor with new ones, because they are contaminated by oil. Is very important to remove the pads in the beginning.
Absolutely ! What a mess ...
It's amazing that professionals don't disassemble brake pads and use brake cleaner....
hello, it was a very useful video, thank you Where can I buy the equipment you use?
Nice tutorial man, I was surprised how little was mentioned in the dualtron ultra 2 manual especially about bleeding the brakes!
These brakes are used across many scooter models
@@FalconpevSgI'm having a problem aligning the screw with a hole on it at the end of the hydraulic wire on the caliper
When you put back the caliper into the mount. Theres no adjustment made?
I appreciate the Video . I have the Zoom brakes on my 10x .. I can't find the "any" Blead screw on the caliper . is the zoom brakes serviceable.. I need to change the brake line from the banjo bolt to the leaver because its too short after I extended my stem . can you give me some tips regarding the Zoom complete blead procedure? thanks :)
Thanks for the video, so so helpful.......
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you. Super helpful.
No problem
Can you send me the link of the bleeding kit please. Thank you!!
If you font need a flush will doing a lever bleed with a cup be sufficient?
I can't push the syringe anymore and i don't have oil coming on top in the funnel please help me
Where can we get the bleeder kit from?
I have blue mineral oil is it best to get red for my nutt brakes
Yes a vwry big hwlp. Others did not mention make brake lever paralel to floor. Complete story there.
Where we can find that fluid?
When i try to push new oil thru it dosent wanna Go thru? I have opened Booth ends off brakes
Think the first thing to do after bleeding ur nutt breaks woud be to get a sprayer and spray the whole calliper till its dripping with 70-90% alcohol so there is nothing left on the callipers and when u dry it off with some paper towels wait for it to fully dry and then install it fully onto the scooter
What oil did you use
Question so I was riding my escooter i squeeze the brake and when i release the brakes it sort of felt like the hydraulic brake lock up after I release it any idea what may have caused this?
I followed every instruction, and every video is pretty much the same and I sincerely thank you guys for taking the time to do this for us but my liver is still very very loose and it’s not as tight as I would like it to be in order for me to break so another words it’s not safe for me to go fast at the moment, and before you say anything yes yes, I did press the lever until all bubbles were out so can you please tell me what else I can do?
Some scooter have electronics settings .
Great video thank you for sharing, where can I get a NUTT bleed kit from ?
We sell the universal kit here www.falconpev.com.sg/products/universal-bleed-kit
for those at home, those are 3mm, 4mm and 5mm allen keys and a torx t15, which is not an allen key.
Also, TAKE YOUR PADS OUT BEFORE YOU BLEED THE BRAKE!! That's what the thicker part of that brake block is for!!!
I have a nanrobot d6+ and from sitting my in my living room all winter the back nutt brake lost some pressure. As I was burping the system it was getting better n better and then all of a sudden it went from pressure to zero pressure and I can't even burp the system anymore. What would cause it to go from almost fixed with pressure while burping to zero pressure in a second?
Are there any leaks?
Really need to know where I get this from and how to word it on Amazon we all asking for the kit but not responding to it the right way. Put it in your description please so we can click on it and send us the the right place thanks

Hi there, excelent instructional video, noticed many guys asking what type of mineral oil are you using and also what brand of bleed kit, would be really helpful, because is a bit of confusion
We use a generic mineral oil from zoom. But to be honest we don’t have a preference
@@FalconpevSg thank you for your reply, noticed some guys meant Dot oils, but i think the thickness of oil does count
@@ovidiualba9648 don’t use dot4 the viscosity is different and will jam up your brakes
@@FalconpevSg hello I also would like to ask about the bleeding kit - any kit works or their are parameters that the kit need to fit (syringe screw diameter etc). Thanks in advance!
Better to remove the brake pads and put the brake block between the pistons to prevent brake pad contamination with mineral oil.
How about 4 piston Nutt brakes? There is no bleed bolt just banjo bolt.
Most brake videos I've watched remove the brake pads to prevent the chance of contamination. Any reason why you chose not to?
yes, as a matter of course, always remove the brake pads on all hydraulic brakes.
He is using the Brake Block Tool to prevent the engagement of the Brake Piston and Brake Pad
any way to make scooters faster?
Did you extend the brake length or is it standard rear 1400MM and front 800MM?
No we made it to fit the zero scooter
Hello! Awesome video, where can I get those syringes with the metal screw ins? Or the kit? Thanks in advance!!
We sell them on the website

I don't get the part where the brake line has the old mineral oil, the new pink mineral oil is pushed up, and the syringe at the top has nothing but new pink mineral oil when the procedure is complete. Did all the old mineral oil come out when the lower screw was removed? Can somebody explain this missing old mineral oil?
what i want too know and says can not mix them i just bought oil says the i have too get rid of the other oil fully before use ????????

Where can I get the bleed kit with adaptors specifically to suit the Nutt system? Is the bleed adaptor same for e-scooters as well as for mountain bikes?
Yes same you can order our full kit set here: www.falconpev.com.sg/products/universal-bleed-kit
@@FalconpevSg I have not found much info on Nutt brake system. Thank you very much.
The best 👍
We love Nutt brakes too
The bleed kit is the same as shimano one?
This kit is more for avid/sram brakes(is for dot fluid) . For Shimano(mineral oil) you don't need a syringe.
Why might one need to bleed it? I’m new to this.
The oil does leak out gradually over time and through wear and tear the oil loses its viscosity
Do you think this Brakes are compatible for mtb bikes?
For mtb get the ones without ebrake
how is the performance of this brake?
It’s good for up to 80kmh
is the braking power good?
Nutt is known as affordable performance brakes
👍👍👍👍👍 thanks
