Thank you very much for this video.
I've been having really rough times in my life right now and this was like bringing a little bit of light into my panorama. I just started a polyamorous/open relationship like 7 months ago and I'm more than willing to learn how to make it work for me and my partners. I had been thinking about this for a long time but never actually practiced it. Now that the chance emerged I'm learning and living my process. I know it's a transition and that it takes time (and most that anything that you never stop learning), but it is hard because when we do this we need to reconfigure things that we learned since we were kids and therefore, were the base to our behavior, decisions and acts.
I know it's a journey. I know it takes work, love, and time. But sometimes it's difficult. Watching your channel it's been so helpful and encouraging. Thank you very much for this, for sharing your experiences and yourselves. Love to both of you guys

I'm really happy I learned some new compassionate communication ideas here, and love the emphasis of taking responsibility for one's emotions, rather than blaming another, eg. *I* feel part sad, part ...., or, "we're not quite in sync at the moment", or "we're not quite on the same wavelength at the moment", and "I'd like to be just heard without an expectation of something being fixed", plus the desire of staying close, with love (for everyone). Also, I really like the idea that everyone is just doing their best.

Oh my god you guys, I have literally binge watched your videos since last night and I just want to give you the BIGGEST THANKYOU for sharing yourselves with us because you have opened my heart and my eyes to a new level of love and communication within my own relationship. Me and my partner have just opened our relationship and I was finding the process really hard until I watched your video on jealousy and reflected that the pain I was feeling was about lack and that made me refocus on how to create that abundance within my life, and open myself up to the love from my partner instead of feeling as if I wasn't deserving of it because he wants to experience different people. I now feel SO FREEEEEEEEEEE!

It was ok, a mixture of emotions but in the end it was just fine. It was what it was and our two differing opinions were both heard and were accepted by one another. We both just love each others companionship and we both just want each others love and want to be heard by one another.

Hiya! Long time listener, first time commenter. Thanks so much for sharing such a big portion of your lives. Your videos have helped me articulate more fully in my relationships... and to myself in many ways. I have a general question, but first I'd like to give a little bit of background.
I am a trans-guy in a monogamous romantic relationship with a cis woman. We've been together for about 4 years and I came out to her about 1.5 years ago. This has been a huge change for us and our relationship (*obviously I suppose*) and I'm happy to report that our relationship has strengthened since coming out. I'll admit it took about a year to achieve the closeness we've found now because it was really difficult for my partner at first.
My question is... What is your opinion on how to communicate when your partner's (or family's or friend's, etc) feelings affect your own? Especially when coming out to family, I find myself having to create a lot of distance in order to protect myself from my family's negative feelings of my transness. This kind of triggered reaction leaves communication pretty paralyzed from my perspective, and theirs too I'm sure.
PS-- I've been practicing IFS for about a year and I'm excited to hear you share more about your experience with it, Conor.
    Thanks again, and Peace!

Wow. What a beautiful share Escher. Thank you so much! We are so happy to read your relationship has been strengthened by sharing more your authentic self. We think leading with this assumption is beautiful when sharing ourselves with anyone. And also, sometimes it just doesn't feel good or safe to share. We would love to make a video more directly answering your question soon. Thank you so much for asking and so much love to you!

Hey I love, love, love your videos. I've been in a long distance relationship for almost a year now with an awesome guy. I suppose I got drawn in by the concept of Polyamory and an open relationship, specifically because of my situation. It doesn't really make sense to be in this type of relationship for me but I'm mad about the guy and I still want to learn more and more! We have ruled out an open relationship but I still want to do everything I can to make it work. I was wondering if you have any thoughts on this topic. But if you don't I still just want to say thank you so much for your videos. Your vidoes have been so refreshing and helpful. Thank you

Do you have any advice for when you feel your relationships aren't healthy? I've been working on improving my relationships (through developing self love) for years, I'm getting more and more clarity, but I'm still unsure how to communicate when I feel hurt by what the other person is doing.
