I do see some of the most important items next to the shipping overstock!!! The fishing rods.....Isn't that the reason we create our own businesses...so we can take some time when needed to enjoy life?
I’m at the nine minute mark it’s only been the last couple years that I’ve been doing laser etching and I’ve done many jobs over the years. One of them was salvage work. There is stainless steel and then there is magnetic stainless which is commonly used for food grade products even your commercial kitchens Has magnetic stainless pure stainless has pores that open up they can cause bacteria. The magnetic stainless are closed pours which does not allow foodborne illness. Just because of magnet stick does not mean it has steel in it. It has some iron properties. There could be other properties within that that are not ironed that magnet stick to and could also rest Way to know exactly what you got is to send a sample to a mythologist and let them do a breakdown of what exactly.
What your shop looks like compared to a year ago is amazing! You guys have done so well in developing and growing your business. Miss you! How are the boys liking their new bedroom space?
We did embroidery for years. My belief is that having multiple single head machines is better than one multihead. Our work loads were usually several dozen items and if the multihead had a thread break and shut down, everything stopped on that job. By staggering the single heads, an operator just seemed to produce more work. Anyway, stay on top of regular maintenance with the proper oiling etc. You can make money with embroidery. Stay safe !!
You took down the shelves in the middle! Looks more open. Hopefully it's more functional. Glad you are still staying busy. Hope your bees are doing well, too. (And your garden and your family! I miss the garden tours. Think of you guys often.) 😄💜
Thanks Jenny. Everything is doing great this year. We are really busy. We are trying to figure out a schedule for videos. We recorded our pig having piglets 🥰
I’m new to the laser world. I’ve watched your videos for a couple of years and I’m impressed with your shop. I got the XTool F1 before seeing your video on using it at sporting events with that in mind. Did my 1st event this weekend and it was a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed watching it work. Thanks for all of the information that you share.
Love your videos! In an earlier video you mentioned that you liked your UV for biz cards because it wouldn’t warp the card through heat. Have you changed your thoughts on this? Thanks.
I have been "patiently" waiting to see what your solution is to heating your garage. You said last winter you would share later on. I'm getting ready to get my heated so I can work year around in comfort.
Great video…I try to watch everything you upload. One question…I have seen quite a few discussions, tumbler specific, where someone is trying to decide if they should buy a Bolt instead of doing it on a gantry CO2 that they already own. Many times the advice back to them is, if you are looking for something to dedicate to tumblers, get a CO2 galvo instead. Is your workflow such that you need the CO2 galvo for something else or you just have a different opinion as to the right machine for tumblers? I ask this because I will at some point own both but trying to decide what to get first for tumblers. Thanks.
@@laserengravingwithmatt No Mat, not such cheap, because we use High series JPT 3A/5A air cooling source, not cheap series. $5590-800=$4790 $5990-800=$5190 Including shipping from China to your door.
I just ordered my smart stitch embroidery machine, and I got my first order for 700 richardson 112. How do you price a job like this thank you for your time

Your workshop is kickers. Bless you and yours. Thanks for sharing....

A lot less claustrophobic without the shelves in the middle! It would be cool to have a fully contained UV for mobile events!
Glad to see you again 👋👋
I wonder if you would do a video on what you do to get local business's business? And what businesses you move toward vs others.
Glad to see that I'm not the only one who has a "working garage". My workspace isn't immaculate but it gets work done!
Great shop tour, Matt. I'm glad we got to see you again 🇬🇧
😄👍
Your business is growing fast, looks like it's time to expand.

Thanks Cathy. It has been growing fast. They are loving it

No
Get an air pillow machine, it's SO much better than using rolls of bubble wrap.
Have you been able to successfully embroider across the center seam on a Richardson 112?
Yes
Hey Matt, great shop tour video! We just got a thunder 51 100W. What pressure, power, and speed are you using to cut 1/2" mdf?
Wide open air and speed 5 and power 90

It’s in the works
Hey Matt great video can you tell me that machine name that does your metal engraving?
Mactron

That depends on the work you are going to do. If you are going to cut things then gantry. If not then galvo
Matt, what did your UV laser (the Wisely) set you back and how much was shipping?
3500. 626 at that time

Great video! Where do you buy the big sheets that you cut with your laser?
Menards or Home Depot
I was looking at the F1 Ultra. Would you recommend the F1 or the F1 Ultra?
That depends on what you want to do with it

Congrats 🎉 that all depends on your area. Call around to find out other shops prices. Hope they have the color you need in stock.
