But at the time as a kid, I didn't know it was such a unique design. I've seen this stove in the movie Blast from the Past. and in your kitchen. Thats all.
@@SewRena Where did you find it? I image ours was picked up by a handyman that restored it and sold it. I like to think it found a good home and isn't in a landfill.

You have such the PERFECT shape for this era of clothing!!! My pear shape wouldn’t but I love seeing you! Thanks for sharing. You always look lovely in all your clothes. 👍🏾

I've actually made a tomato soup cake for a previous birthday. It tasted like a typical spice cake and I went with a cream cheese frosting. If I made it again I think I would add some chopped apples to the batter. Just to try and make it taste a little different than your typical carrot cake.
@@SewRena Haha I actually love them but nuts and raisins have raised in price significantly. It's actually cheaper to just buy chocolate chips where I live. I'm sure people back in the day would be shocked to find out about that.
Amen! I touch and agree with you I'm praying for a home as well and I will have built-ins❤❤ blessings in the New Year in the name of the Lord Jesus😊 the Lord knows our hearts desires
I love your Frigidaire Flair. Our old house had one and I used it for 20 years. Best stove/oven I ever used. When we bought our new house it uses a gas stove but I still kept my Flair. It is in the garage. I tease my husband that I want a summer kitchen built around it.
I used to have a recipe for tomato soup- cheese bread that was delicious. I can see where a tomato soup cake would be as tasty. Valentine's Day is just around the corner, so I will think about a pink cake like this! Thank you for opening up your kitchen and sharing the fun ❤!
just a little tip for writing with icing, get a piping bag that's too big and only push a small amount (what fits in your palm essentially) of the icing towards the tip then twist the bag. the remaining icing will sit in the top of the bag above the twist and above the hand you're writing with. this way, it's SO much easier to control the pressure needed while writing and avoids your hand shaking while writing! love your videos and happy decorating 😊 hope it helps!!
I have a feeling in the 50-60s they tried new flavours and it was more a novelty and it didn't taste good every time , like those jello "salads". But some rare occasions it works.
That frosting is my daughter's favorite!!!! When she was little n you ask what she wanted for her birthday....she always said the sticky frosty....i knew this meant the boiling frosting. She was in the military and i surprised her with some cupcakes with the sticky frosting....she burst into tears!!!
I have that recipe and it's delicious. It's a great autumnal spice cake and I don’t even bother with the icing. My recipe suggests a cream cheese icing, so it's got a carrot cake vibe.
congrats on 300k! was so excited to see this in your kitchen because a good friend of mine irl makes an amazing tomato soup cake & glad you enjoyed it! 🥰🥫🎂
