Nice Video! Excuse me for butting in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you heard about - Riddleagan Made Masterpiece Remedy (do a search on google)? It is a smashing one of a kind product for learning professional photo editing minus the hard work. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my m8 got excellent success with it.
Use Photoshop
I'm learning Lightroom editing in quarantine.

How to edit background color just like he did ?. I really like the background color of his pics.
All this time I didn't know I could get those options by pressing the screen. You just made me love Lightroom mobile instead of liking it.

This is still my go-to tutorial for working with Lightroom Mobile on the iPhone. I learned to use these settings, be it a bit simplified, but my photos pop. New iPhone, so I had to update my knowledge again and I see a lot of things I left out and which can be pretty handy to implement in my workflow. Keep coming back to this and also sending friends to this video. After 5 years still great work Brian 👍
Glad to hear it! I will probably make an updated version soon. I appreciate you coming back to watch it!

Terrific tutorial! As a long time ACR and Ps user, I’m just getting into mobile photo editing really and since I’m not well versed in Lr, there’s a learning curve, but you basically just slapped all of my ACR and Ps tools into my hand!

Happy to help!
Great tutorial!😄 3:42 was new for me😊 but when i try to keep one finger at the photo and one finger to slide the shadows/highlights etc it just says "Before" on the photo and nothing really happens 😆 so idk how i can fix it🤷♂️😆
Same. Anyone any idea
I had the same problem after watching a different video because they kept saying touch the photo. Maybe with an iPhone you touch and hold the photo but on my android you actually touch below the photo. Just keep trying and you'll eventually find the spot. Took me a few tries.
You gotta hold down the slider first and then hold down on the photo
I used Lr for the very first time and it blew my mind.
Happy to hear it!
Wow thanks! It helps a lot
This video was the most useful for iPad and iPhone.
Happy to hear it!

awesome tips
That colors are so great dude. Thanks the tutorial. I should try to learn now
Happy to hear it! Thank you for watching!
I primarily use either my own phone, a midrange Vivo V17, or my mother's S10. For the Vivo, its main cam aperture is 1.8 so I try to get more background blur, nevermind the colours, exposure, those i can fix in lightroom. For the S10 I don't bother because of the f2.4, so I just find good angles.
Top tip: if you are taking photos of something, maybe an object, ALWAYS go to its level and shoot straight on, parallel to the floor. Stick your camera into the subject just a little more. Compared to a regular person's shot, shooting from 30-45 degrees downwards and from arm's length, the photo becomes just a photo of the object in general, nothing interesting. Just these two steps alone can already make your photos look MUCH better.
Oh yes, if your phone has a telephoto camera, try to use that instead. The natural bokeh will come through easier and you can step back a little. Same reason why the pros generally don't use 26mm lenses, we start around 50mm and very frequently go to 85mm just for portraits. (around 3x optical zoom).
If you are lazy, once you are done, just pipe them into Lightroom and click auto. More often than not, Lightroom does the job well enough, and you are often two steps ahead of the regular folk.
youre the best iphonetographer i swear
Expound on the "halo effect" These old eyes couldn't see any differences
Hey, Troy! The “Halo Effects” is sometimes an indication of over-sharpening. Zooming in on the photo might help to see it!
Thank you mann
Thank you for watching!
Great video. Gave me a great starting point!
Thanks big difference
This is the video I wanted to see!
Happy to hear it!
This video is a huge help. Thanks.
Happy to hear it! Thanks for watching, Ken!

Might use this app more than PicsArt
I think you’ll love it!
dude wow my photo of my background because my backyard has a lot of cool plants and trees so it looks so good and even better wit dis vid!!! thanks!!!!!!?
Hell yeah been waiting for this video 🤤👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻📱
Gotchuuuuuuu, Alex Cruz!
Good video. Do you save photos at highest quality? And resize them before you post on social media?
I always save my photos in the highest quality possible but never resize them for social media. I let social media apps apply their own compression algorithms. I hope that makes sense and glad you liked the video!
I enjoyed the background music
great tutorial! thanks
Happy to help!
Hello Brian. Question: Pressing down one finger on the screen while adjusting radius or whites or blacks does not give me that preview of how much I am messing up with the image, it only gives me the "before" look (the original look of the image). Is this something lightroom updated? Is it different for android phones? Thanks for this tutorial.
Súper helpful!! Ty sm
Happy to help!
Man this is so crazy. This is exactly why i dont edit photos lol. You made that photo look a l ot better and more detailed, you also made it look so easy while im sitting here so lost during your video smh every time you would add or subtract the color or brightness 🔅 percentage i would stare so hard at the photo trying to figure out where or what it was that you were changing because I wouldn’t see anything change and then for the first time in my entire life i hear someone say we have way to much noise and that you need to take some of the noise away 🤷🏻♂️ ... definitely lost me with that one but anyway nice video
My brain can’t process the sharpening & radius 😵💫 I hope we get an update soon!
I just bought an iPad Pro for video editing and was thinking about getting Lr to edit photos on it as well. Can you do batch edits with Lr Mobile? Edit one image then apply those settings over to all the other images you have selected? Not sure of the technical term for what I am asking but can Lr mobile do that? LOL!
I’m new to this editing thing, but can u explain more about noise reduction and noise colour reduction?
Just brilliant. No messing, just cracked on with it at a pace.
Will this app do graduation, in the sky for instance?
Glad you liked the video! Yes, you can add a graduated filter with this app!
Am I reading this right? 24k Likes and not a single dislike?? Great video! Well deserved!
Thank you for watching!
Can you do a portrait editing, thank you!
I like that idea! Hopefully soon!
