wow tks!!
THIS is the video I've been looking for! Thank you so much for explaining everything so well!
Yay! Happy you like it! ;-)
Oh my god. I’ve been going about things all wrong! I never used the LR camera. Just raw on iPhone camera settings. This is the greatest tutorial on this of all time. I didn’t know the settings to take the photos were that in depth. Raw yes. Settings no. Thank you sir. Very, very, informative and I needed it.
Years ago when I was a teenager my buddy and I drove from San Francisco to LA thinking we would camp on Zuma Beach. We got our tent all set up ready for the night thinking it was so weird that no one else was camping there. Right where you are standing in the opening shot. About 10 minutes later we saw headlights coming down the beach towards us. Two rangers/police explained that it was illegal to camp on the beach and so ended our amazing LA beach camping trip. Funny to see you standing on that very spot. No garbage cans back then. 1963
Wow interesting! What a story! I didn’t know either! :-)
Serge Ramelli Photography well you have taught me a lot about post processing and I taught you not to camp on the beaches in LA. :-) My Best
Great job Serge, love your videos, and your work. My pictures have improved tremendously from the tips you've given over the years.

Hi Serge, great video and great Tips N Tricks as usual. I have learnt a lot from you, specially Lightroom Desktop, thanks a lot for that. Just wanted to know as to how can we add a white border to a photo, and how can we add our own name/logo to the image.
I do it, a lot in Snapseed, but don't know how to do it in Lightroom Mobile. Would be great if we can have some tips on that.
Thanks!
ok sounds great I added your suggestion to my list of videos to do ;-)
@@SergeRamelliPhotography Thank You!
Comment ça va? Serge.....I love your tutorials, you are full of life and enthusiasm. In 2013 you created a video called "My best tips on getting good prints on your printer " I'm having a rough time printing old portraits, and don't know if I should do it from photoshop, or lightroom, mac, canon or someplace else settings, should I follow your advice from that video, or you have a better way. Sorry to bother you again. Thanks.
Thank you so much! Sure that is a great idea for a new video!
but that video is still valid
I like these explanations, However for us beginners if you were to explain a bit slower us beginners can follow along. Looking forward to seeing more videos and hoping it’s not so fast that I cant follow along. Blessings! 🙏
Okay sounds good! Thanks for the feedback!
Hi. What aspect ration should i use if i want to post my photos to Instagram? thanks!
4x5 in portrait mode
please i want to learn more about cinematography
Hey serge, I have been using lightroom mobile for over a year now, it has turned out to be great for me, but recently I have been facing a bit of a problem. Whenever I am trying to shoot in raw with the lightroom camera, the pictures are imported with a pinkish hue....if you could tell me a way how to fix them, I will be greatly thankful🙏.
That odd not sure, did you check for any pre settings by default?
I have changed the photo impost options from adobe default to camera settings...but still I am facing the problem
Serge is there any way to buy your last book but with an autograph from you? You are my inspiration!!!
Thank you so much! Yes let me see how I can make that happen... ;-)
Hmm. Can,t get Raw. Are there different levels n Lightroom mobile?
You mean you can shoot in raw from your phone?
i use lr mobile all the time, its great plus free
Exactly! Glad you like it! ;-)
it works on my Huawei p20, probably not for long though
yes
Serge Ramelli Photography
please do a video on Snapseed mobile app
I did one in the past you can check it out on my channel
I just don't understand why we open the shadows and bring down the highlights... Cause I always do the opposite.
Okay if it works for you, it depends what look you like :-)
Depends on the picture
Lightroom version plz?😭
Any suggestions on how to take a long exposure on an Android?
I don't because I don't have an Android but I can look into it and maybe do a video on that!
@@SergeRamelliPhotography that would be great to learn. If you know of an iPhone app that has that feature, it may be in the Google play store
@@SergeRamelliPhotography Hi Serge. I actually found the app Footej that has an option of a 4 second exposure. Lightroom camera app on Android only has a Max of 1 second exposure. Really enjoy your videos too!
Serge, what about Android? Is it the same on Android?
To be honest I have never used Android but as long as you have the Lightroom app installed it should be the same idea :-)
What sens is setup WB in RAW?
What do you mean by sens
@@SergeRamelliPhotography I mean, you don't need setup WB in RAW. You can setup very accuracy this in edit in software like LR. Or im wrong?
If you click on the picture while moving the white or black, you will se how it effects the picture
Yes! ;-)
There is no camera option
Plz reply
Did you try with a jpeg file?
Dude’s standing in front of a green screen at the beginning of the video. 😂 I don’t care, though, I love the tutorials.
Yes amazing green screen in Malibu
Serge Ramelli Photography green screen or no green screen, it doesn’t matter. 😄 I find the videos motivational and inspiring, and extremely helpful. Thanks for taking the time to entertain the silly comment I made. All the best 😀
thanks David appreciate it and its funny you are right when my wife who is my editor send me the video It felt like I was in a studio but I was truely at the beach weaird
Which iPhone did you use?
iPhone X :-)
I dont understand why there is no possibility to make long exposure on an iphone.. I really miss that feature!
yes there is a possibility check this video ruclips.net/video/MRGf38T2Sw8/видео.html
Yes but this is only an effect not a real long exposure :). On the huawei I had before, I could make exposures up to 30s in raw with the Standard app.
Rarely see an Iphone in Cape Town. Its mainly Samsung!
I have samsung S10 plus could u give us tips and tricks for it and how can we the take the most out of it
What is the best phones to have a good shot and great video based on your experience?
Finally what is the best tripod for phones?
Appreciate your help 💐
Okay sounds like a good idea, I only use iPhone I have never used an Android but that could be a great idea for a tutorial.
@@SergeRamelliPhotographyYes I definitely agree and support yr decision because there are millions of Android users all around the world could you check this article>
