They are pretty fast at the net…I think the hardest part is the variance between these paddles and other paddles on the market. When a player at the kitchen line taps the ball back the difference in pace with these is significant, and it just throws you off. We’ll all get used to it, but it will change player positioning during games..I think there will be a lot more movement back and forth between the kitchen line

Pb players are so fucking soft it almost makes me ashamed to admit I play. It's a wiffle ball. If you're scared of getting hit, don't play.

Well, not scared of getting hit. I wear protective eyewear but some people I play against don't. I worry that I may hit them.

@@2be1withUonly way I would get hit is if u make a mistake and pop it up and don’t start moving back right away to counter the slam u gave them for popping it up so if u don’t want to get burned by the hit stove don’t touch it and get better

Every sports has regulations on players and equipment for safety. Pickleball is no different. As the sport grows and especially itself as a serious sport it will have tondo what every other developed sport has had to do. Conform.

Every sport evolves. Remember tennis had wooden rackets for years. Could you imagine how boring it would be today if they regulated it to only wood rackets. Look at golf. All the equipment changes that have been made. Does pickleball want to stay in the Stone Age? As technology improves so should the equipment!

It's funny you mention golf, because golf clubs are tested with the exact same coefficient of restitution test that pickleball is adopting. Every sport has regulations about the equipment it uses. Even running and swimming have banned certain types of shoes and swimsuits.

The problem with your statement, Pickleball has moved away from Wooden paddles a long time ago. No doubt sports evolve, however, at who's expense? There are inconsistency with both parties that effect the consumers currently.

Men’s tennis is boring more now than with wooden racquets. Watch Jimmy Conners or Jon McEnroe back in the day with wood racquets. Tons of more skill and patient and placement of the ball.

If you're a low skilled pb player, the Gen 3 won't help you much. Ask me how I know. 😅

Its the players ... not the paddle. Instead of banging the ball against weaker players, how about play at your level and not hit people. And if you cant control your shots, learn first

😂😂😂 even the pros are complaining about the paddle issues so throws that suggestion out.

It totally changes the game regardless of level. It sucks

@@sd1660No, the pros are complaining, because they can’t use Joola’s, their sponsors have an inferior paddle! Look at the podiums lately, a lot of Joola’s and Paddletek paddles!

How or why do they even make the “wrong” paddles? Why do they make ones that they know won’t pass the tests at all? Curious.

I am an average player and in two weeks I bagged more people with my gen 3 then my entire 1 year of ever playing pickleball. I went back to my Hyperion C2
