Nice videos. I thought I recognised the accent and then I recognised th front of the house. The cross roads to your right as you leave the front door used to have loads of car crashes when I was a kid. I'm undertaking a full house renovation too, so I'm sure your videos will come in useful.
watching now - all the videos I've seen so far though seem to be those bow windows, or whatever they're called - My bay window is rectangular, so 90degrees between the 2 main pieces, trying to work out how they join together when a 90 angle
Great work!! Just watches the whole thing and going to be doing it myself soon, can I ask why did you use expanding foam n the joins where the aluminium supports go? Was that for sound or to help secure it all?
Thanks, the foams probably not necessary but hopefully it will help with sound and thermal performance. Windows have been in a good while now in all weather and we are really happy with them.
How difficult would it be to have the wall follow the window? Currently we have a flat wall and would like a bay window but for the wall the follow the window underneath rather than a ledge if that makes any sense
Top work! Great to see people just crack on, most people would be intimidated by such a job!

What a great job 👍
Excellent work 👏
The original windows had so much more character.
Possibly but very expensive to keep the house warm and not good for the planet with such a low energy efficiency rating
Unfortunately character doesn't keep the cold out or remove the need for painting every year....
Nah, the original sashes wee far superior.

Hi, are you referring to the sill, we went for a standard sill to keep moisture away from the bricks but you could conciser a flush sill or no sill
G did it take to remove and make re secure
