Somewhere around the halfway mark of the vid, you said that a Bluepoint remake of Bloodborne for the PS6 would "just be more options". In my opinion, it's actually less options, because the original game will be locked on the console it was made for. Sony, in an effort maximize profits from console sales, probably won't put it on PC (which they might have done if they weren't relying on it to sell new consoles), which means that in 20 years, Bloodborne, a massively influential, successful, and historically significant game, will be nearly completely inaccessible in it's original form, in the form that it was when it made history, just like Demon's Souls. You would probably say "well, just play the remake", but that's not really Demon's Souls to me. I personally massively dislike the Demon's Souls remake because it has none of the things that the original has that are interesting and worth seeing, like the dated MIDI music and primitive level and enemy designs that would later be improved in future games. The original game is a portal to a time long since passed, and is only compelling to me for that reason. I don't want to see shiny graphics and anachronistic feeling overdone audio design, I want to see an artist's actual vision, informed by the time they lived in, made with the resources, know-how, and limitations of the time, and then I want use that experience to better appreciate how they've progressed over time with new releases. But to see that game, I would have to either buy an incredibly overpriced old console that is effectively obsolete for every purpose except this (just like how the PS1 and 2 already are and how the PS4, 5, and 6 will eventually be), or I would have to pirate the game and emulate it, which I obviously can do, but it would so much nicer if I could just buy it on Steam, for example. Of course all this would be solved if Sony would simply make a PC port of the game, but Japanese gaming companies are famously allergic to pro-consumer business practices, so I'm not holding my breath for that.
I don't know why u say that the ps3 is "incredebly overpriced" because it costs like 50 bucks in my country (France) and I dont think 50e is overpriced if you want to expérience Demon's souls in its original form. I expect the ps4 to be around the same price when the ps6 will be out so we could always play the "OG" Bloddborne. (Although you're right about Sony not being consumer friendly)
Wholeheartedly agree with you that Bluepoint remakes aren't the same experience and lose some of the charm that the older game holds for a lot of people. That said, much like the other commenter pointed out, buying dated consoles and old disks is still fairly accessible for the majority of games, save some super rare games that sell for 400+.

Right now you might be able to get one relatively easily, but in ten or twenty years, that will not be the case. In thirty or fifty years, it may be impossible. Realistically, emulation will have advanced to the point of being able to play PS4 games on PC, and BB will be available to pirate and emulate with relative ease, but still. It's silly to say a remake is "more options" when in reality it completely cuts out a huge portion of the market because of it's exclusivity, and because the original will be left behind.

He's not unfinished. He died. His soul was killed by DESTINED DEATH, the only definitive death in ER. The game textually tells you even his knights are waiting for the Age of Duskborn, one of the endings you can get. Then again, you don't remember who's who, so probably didn't even know that.
Theyre not adding another dlc, its been stated for official record. Theyve never completely revealed every aspect of any of their games stories, and godwyns story may just lay as is. Though there *IS* talk of a movie or show...
You're right. I didn't know. He was the only one I felt like they talked about a lot but we never fought. And a land of the destined dead DLC seems right up from fromsofts alley. But yeah, I generally don't give an F about the little details of the lore crap. I called michella or whatever for the DLC the nanosecond I couldn't interact with his hand. Kinda disappointed I couldn't fight him directly. His hand in the game was a lot bigger than he was in the DLC. I guess he discarded his body though. None of this crap makes any actual sense. The line "And here I abandon my love" was dope though. Anyway, you're a nerd. Lol.
